Or at least my lil canon-divergent version since she's based around Jozsef who's the more Proper Dark Urge We can start it chronologically, because she did...

Kill her own parents at a precocious age of about 5 when they failed to realize she was what she was;

And you can imagine the terror and violence she wreaked upon the compassionate yet unfortunate souls of a lowtown orphanage that adopted her.

Sought the silence and reprieve from the Voice of her True Father urging her to act, but also obsessively sought it's approval.

And that wasn't the only thing she was obsessed with :)

Obsessed over the one friend she had in that orphanage before he was taken away by Bhaalists

Obsessed over finding him again.

Obsessed with honing her skill and craft, body and mind and gives no room for any else for the chance to-

Find him once again. Find him and the whispers that sound like her voice and yet like His will stop, she can stop, they will stop, if only she can reach him to find Him.....

Joined a cult.

A murder cult.

A murder sex cult. Did a lot of one thing, not a lot of the other.

A murder sex cult that worships the god of murder.

Obsession is back one when she realize her young friend is now the scion of this cult

Committed a lot of that and burglary by taking his things in secret to privately worship. (while being a peeping tom and a trespasser)

Honestly I have most of Naressa's bg down, but it's so funny that in developing her, it means that -- as a Hound -- I also designed the partner/gang who betrayed her.

And in making her partner, I realized how much of a loser Naressa is LKAJGKL

Ultimately? Great killer, great thief, and the bounty on her head is mostly deserved

But her partner was just so much smarter, so much more sinister, and played Naressa so hard like. STRONG MC vibes from Naressa's partner, but she's just going to be the MC of a different story, back in the town Naressa escaped from.

But no, somehow it's still Naressa's story, where she lost and she was defeated, betrayed, and after that kind of "The End" she has to figure out how to recover and bounce back from her life getting ruined. Doing it all again in yet another slum, in the low end the city, associating with the underground...

and oh, now there's monsters.

Sometimes you're the loser in your own story and that's still very fun to play.

What circumstances led to your Dark Urge becoming their Class/Subclass?

So she's a Thief Rogue/Gloomstalker Ranger/Oath of Retribution Paladin. Thief Rogue: She was a street rat and got into plenty of places she should not have gotten into. She was as much a thief as she was a murderer before she was found by the Bhaalists. Paladin: This game is DUMB FOR NOT HAVING EVIL PALADINS. But she became a Paladin of Bhaal when she joined the Temple and swore her devotion to her Father. Upon becoming a part of the temple she began to devote herself to Bhaal and thus gained part of his divine power to, well, better kill people Gloomstalker Ranger: STEALTH IS FUN AND SHE'S SNEAKY. and she knows how to shoot real good. :)

How does your Dark Urge feel about love?

Pre-tadpoling? She did not think about it at all. There was no love that did not come at a price she was willing to pay, and she had largely given up on love when it came to her circumstance. She was miserable and hateful of the world that abandoned her and left her with this seething violence. Post-tadpoling? It's the most confusing and most wonderful emotion. Falling in love with Jozsef made her feel as though she could choose a different path than what was laid to her (along with learning about just ... what life is outside of an awful murder cult) but knowing how to love someone was nothing short of a revelation.

What first impression does your Dark Urge give off to strangers?

SCARY. She's a MEAN LOOKING LADY with A SWORD TATTOO ON HER NECK. and probably no less than two blades on her showing at any time. Also probably: does not play well with others

Does your Dark Urge have a treasured item with them? If yes, what is it and why is it special? If no, how do they feel about item sentimentality in general?

No. She did not care at all for physical possessions, what she had was the cults and what they had was not much. So generally she does not care about item sentimentality, even post-tadpoling she doesn't much care to possess items either or be sentimental towards them.

What would your Dark Urge consider to be their greatest skill? Is this accurate?

Honestly? Killing people. It was what she believes she was made to do, it is what she has done literally her whole life, and it is what she has been tasked to do since the Bhaalists found her. She was weapon, blade, dagger, first. She was a person second. And even now, there is a part of her that finds that still to be true, so long as she can find evil people to kill she will be lauded as a hero at best, acceptable at worst. And while she does believe she can use her skills for her own ends, or for better ends, it is all still boiled down to killing. She's not particularly good but even so I think it is accurate that combat is her best physical skill but I think her defiance or tenacity is her greatest skill. She managed to find a personality and life for herself and managed to keep hold of it, and I believe that's greater than any like attack could be.

What motivates your Dark Urge to either embrace or resist the tadpole?

Power is power. She has no compunction against the illithid especially when she counts on the emperor to be pragmatic and practical. So when the Emperor says that there is a chance it can have you grow more powerful? She'll take it. However, she remains wary due to the warring .......... voices ........... in her head :)

Is your Dark Urge open about their Urge or do they try to hide it? Why?

She tries to hide it because for most of the game she has no way of knowing what's going on, beyond the fact that it is not behavior exhibited by anyone else in the party nor with anyone she's experienced. As a result she tries to hide it, so that she might fit in.

She also did not know where such Urges came from so, best to handle them before anyone is the wiser.

How does your Dark Urge react to waking up with memory loss?

Waking up is not much of an issue. It helps that she's immediately distracted to action and doesn't linger on how little she knows about herself. It's quick reasoning that her memories will return. She pays little mind to the way something gnashes behind her eyes and keeps memories other than her name, at bay.

How good of a liar is your Dark Urge? How do they feel about lying?

NOT AT ALL. She is not what you would call charming or particularly articulate. Not only does she leave the lying and manipulation to others, but she also would actually prefer not to lie.

How does your Dark Urge feel about Bhaal?

Very differently pre and post tadpoling. Pre-tadpoling: she was beholden to Him, as Bhaalspawn and devotee her Father is Father to her as well as God. Torment and comfort, pain and relief, Bhaal was her North and South, and ultimately kept her down to make sure that she took no pleasure in living or in the living so as to have no remorse or barrier to when she would enact His will. She was grateful for it and knew nearly nothing else but it. Post-tadpoling: Bhaal is one cruel diety amidst a sky full of them, and the only way that's worse is how Bhaal can puppet her body and control her mind. Finally with additional context, with the ability to know what life is and how to live it, Bhaal is the obstacle to overcome so that she may be free, and perhaps more surprising, happy. At least, until she regains her memories.......
