the idea that s2 of s&b was better than s3 of the witcher is sooo baffling to me.
#the witcher#shadow and bone#anti sab#!txt: the witcher#!txt: sab#like okay granted i only watched the darkling scenes in s2#but ohmygodddddd were they so bad#like literally all subtlety and nuance was completely removed from what was there in s1#meanwhile the writing for s3 of the witcher felt a lot more tighter and cohesive than prev seasons#and all of the characters and rships were given a lot more depth and importance#like unequivocally s3 was better than s2 but personally i think s3 was better than s1 too#also likE barring the toxic gamer bros and the rancid hc stans#the overall reaction i saw to s3 was pretty positive#meanwhile i did not see a single section of the sab fandom that was happy w s2
