literally can not stop thinking about the short story shu takumi wrote when AA was getting localized, where Mayoi was talking to naruhodo about how her american ver liked hamburgers instead and how she could probably fly to amerrica, eat a bunch of ramen and scream “my name is maya fey and i work at the wright law firm!” and leaving without paying her tab so maya would be left with the bill. 

and at that exact moment Itokonokogiri came in and reported he got a report that a girl had gone into a burger store, ate a ton of food and yelled “My name is Mayaoi Ayasato and I work for Naruhodo Law firm!” and left without paying her bill and now they had to pay for it.

And Mayoi was like “She got me first....,”

so yeah my comp is just...dead. its been a long time coming with the brightness permanently on max brightness for some horrible reason, and it overheating in lit half an hour unless i have bags of ice on it.

I have a lot going on right now so I cant be writing a lot but I want it to be known that I’m officially changing the whole ‘Mayas body changes to match the person shes chanelling’

Well Capcom has basically proven that this part of chanelling exists solely as an excuse to be creepy and gross about Maya’s body so since they can’t act right I’m banning it.

I actually only made this blog because because LEELEE. my actual bffl (best friend for life) (and no you dont get a say in that. at all. i decided. its gone through the council the council being me and Im your best friend. thanks for playing) anyway. i made her play ace attorney and she took a liking to maya and edgeworth because they are the best ship and she started making an edgeworht blog and OBVIOUSLY. I had to make a maya blog. and honeslty it was the best decision of my life cause i made so so so many good friends here!!!

I met i met! I met kai kai!! and spade!! and plant plant i didnt technically meet through maya but i saw his blog on maya so it counts. Uuuuhhh. I met Ares and mochi AND UMBY and EDWARD!!!!! and just so many other people who have deleted but!!! I MET SO MANY GOOD PEOPLE WHO I LOVE TALKING TO!!! 

OH AND CATHERINE I DIDNT MEET THROUGH MAYA BUT KAIKAI AND SPADE INTRODUCED ME TO HER SO IT COUNTS. omg catherine is so pretty you guys!!! oh and so is plant plant and kaikai and spade and leelee. all yall are so good looking its not fair. OH AND JAY JAY TOO!!! Hes good lookign too!!. question. do you guys encounter lawsuits a lot from giving people on the streets whiplash from all the heads youre turning.

OH OK INSPIRATION. i take a lot. lol im so adhd, but!! i think what it basically is is that, I personally am a very quiet and polite person who tailors most of my life around making sure I dont cause trouble for other people. so maya is kind of my outlet for being an absolute menace lol. i also have just always loved women who have a big sense of responsibility.

It really does make me big mad that everyone treats maya like she’s an idiot. Fandom and characters in canon dialogue have over and over again called her stupid. 

Like this scene is from when Maya was being kidnapped and starved by that assassin whos ransoming her release for their client getting an innocent verdict. So. FIRST OF ALL. Maya figures out that she can channel her sister, and Mia can find clues about Mayas whereabouts. Since Maya knows her cousin is going to channel Mia too in court and since Phoenix will be there , her sister can tell him what she learned.

BUT ALSO THIS SCENE. Its from when Phoenix sends police over to where they figure Maya is staying. The thing is the kidnapper has already moved her but WHAT MAYA DOES DO. Is leave evidence to help the client get a guilt verdict cause shes so good and would rather die than let an innocent person go away for a crime they didnt commit.

And anyway like!!! Im sorry this is such a smart way of leaving evidence behind in a way that would be eye catching to a friend of hers but seem inconspicuous enough to her kidnapper to not notice. 

Maya is smart ok. She just never gets the chance to showcase this cause she has low self esteem and thinks she can only play supporting roles.
