You were watching him from the side of the courtroom—legs crossed, notebook untouched, pretending to focus. But truthfully, your attention was only on him.

Hiromi Higuruma in full trial mode was something else entirely.

His black suit was razor-sharp. His expression unreadable. Calm, cool—lethal. That dangerous glint in his brown eyes had the opposing lawyer practically sweating before the cross-examination even began.

You knew that look.

He stood slowly, adjusting his cuffs, then walked toward the witness stand like he owned the room. Like he was the law. The judge barely breathed as he began his questioning, voice low, measured, devastating.

“Objection,” the opposing counsel barked.

Hiromi turned his head, just a little. “On what grounds?”

The silence that followed was louder than the objection itself.

He smirked—that smirk—and continued speaking as if no one dared interrupt him again.

And they didn’t.

When court adjourned, you caught up to him just outside the chamber. He didn’t look at you right away—he was still wound tight, high off control, his jaw clenched like he was still mid-argument.

“Hiromi,” you said gently, stepping in front of him.

He finally looked down at you, eyes dark.

“You were…” You swallowed. “Intense.”

He tilted his head, voice low. “Did that bother you?”

“No.” You took a step closer. “But I think you need to let go now.”

Something shifted in his expression. His hand caught your wrist—large, warm, firm—and his breath hitched just enough to betray how tightly he was still holding everything in.

��Say it again,” he murmured.

You looked up at him, voice soft. “Let go, Hiromi.”

That was all it took.

He didn’t even make it all the way home. The elevator doors had barely closed before he pressed you hard against the mirrored wall, his mouth hot, his breath shaky.

“You like watching me like that?” he whispered into your ear. “All in control. All dangerous.”

You nodded, breathless.

He growled softly, deep in his throat. “Then take some responsibility. You made me this wound up.”

His hands were on your thighs, your waist, your throat—not tight, just enough to remind you he was still in charge. But his kisses were desperate now, uncoordinated, messy.

When you finally got to the apartment, he didn’t undress you gently. He needed skin. Contact. You. His voice cracked as he whispered, “I need to feel you. Now.”

So you gave yourself to him.

You let him pin your hands above your head, let him take his time punishing you sweetly for making him lose control in the first place. But afterward—when the storm passed—he softened again, burying his face into your neck, arms wrapped tight around your waist like a man clinging to his anchor.

“You calm me down like no one else,” he said quietly.

You ran your fingers through his hair, holding him close.

“You terrify everyone else,” you whispered, “but to me… you’re just mine.”

He smiled against your skin. “Damn right.”

Anyway I’m a huge law nerd so I took Tails’s TMOSTH design and turned it into that one Ace Attorney meme! I don’t think I got it exactly right, I just drew it from memory

It was pretty satisfying to just draw all day and complete the artwork by the end of the day :D
