Im a firm believer (and always will be) that maya and mia had a very complicated relationship. I think part of what makes mia so interesting is the fact that she kind of sucks? She left home to chase down what ruined her family, but she never even got the chance to fix it. And now maya’s left with this huge burdan to deal with alone. Don’t get me wrong, maya *loved* Mia and always will, but i think their relationship is alot more interesting once to take into account how much strain mia put on it by leaving. Idk. (I swear I didn’t forget Franziska I just lost motivation on that sketch but they were drinking tea and she was insulting his posture) They’re all such wildly different people but it’s always that same feeling of safety that comes with doing the mundane with them

When he’s with the Wrights they’re watching Disney or something and regardless of the movie Phoenix is out like a light twenty minutes in while Miles and Trucy whisper commentary the entire time with the chronic yappers they are

When he’s with Maya they hate watch shitty Netflix/live action adaptations of the Steel Samurai and analyze every inaccuracy to the source material while wearing their matching Steel Samurai merch sweaters (it was Maya’s idea but Miles likes the merch too much to decline)

When he’s with Franziska they watch copious amounts of true crime probably in 2x speed and solve the cases before the detectives in the show do and scoff while they drink their tea like the prodigious little assholes they are
