Tennotober 15 - Wedding
I wonder how it is for Onkko to live close by but never be able to tell Saya and Konzu that he's alright. I know this was the only solution he saw where Saya was happy, but I can imagine him yearning for another way everything could've been resolved

Anyone wonder how much a warning Little Duck gave Business and Eudico about Tenno?
Like, sure. You have the 6 foot death bot, that's what all the stories say, but then out steps a child?
Gotta throw you off a bit.

Yggdrasil, the Eidolon Roots Warframe
Before making Yggdrasil I fought Eidolons to get inspiration and I tried to capture some of the most important aspects of the hunt in her abilities and weapons. Yggdrasil's acquisition is not RNG-based nor is it a quest reward, instead all four of her blueprints and the blueprints for her signature weapons are purchased from Quill Onkko in Cetus in exchange for Memory Shards, which are dropped by the Eidolons. The Eidolon Teralyst drops 1 Memory Shard on death or 2 if captured. The Gantulyst drops 2 on death or 3 on capture, and the Hydrolyst will drop 3 shards when killed or 4 when captured. Vomvalysts also have a 1% chance to drop a Memory Shard when killed by operator damage. Each of Yggdrasil's blueprints costs 15 Memory Shards and her weapon blueprints cost 20 each.
Health: 450 (550 at rank 30) Shields: 450 (550 at rank 30) Armor: 500 Energy: 175 (225 at rank 30) Sprint Speed: 0.9
Passive: Yggdrasil possesses 200% Overshields capacity, granting her a maximum of 2,400 Overshields, and she starts every mission with maximum overshields.
Ability 1: Sapling, 25 energy. Yggdrasil plants a Sapling in the ground directly in front of her, a tree-like demi-living sentient object which spreads its glowing, translucent roots through all adjoining surfaces to create altered terrain for Yggdrasil's benefit. For the first 6 seconds the Sapling's roots spread outward at a rate of 5 meters per second and then continues to spread at a rate of 0.25 meters per second for the remaining 20 seconds of its duration. -Enemies standing on roots generated by the Sapling have their movement and attack speeds slowed by 40%. -Allies standing on roots regenerate 5 health and 1 energy per second. Healing from Sapling grants shields if health is full but cannot grant overshields. -Nullifier bubbles erase root terrain only where they overlap. The entire root field is only destroyed when the Sapling itself expires or enters the nullifier bubble. -Multiple Saplings can be active at once. -If Yggdrasil does not have any Saplings active she can cast the ability at no energy cost.
Ability 2: Felling, 50 energy. After a short wind-up animation Yggdrasil stomps with supernatural force, releasing a shockwave that propagates at a rate of 6 meters per second for 6 seconds. When the wave passes over an enemy it will deal 750 magnetic damage with a guaranteed magnetic status proc and knock them down, leaving them helpless and vulnerable to melee finisher attacks for 4 seconds. If the enemy falls on roots created by a Sapling the roots will reach up and entangle them, doubling the knockdown's duration.
Ability 3: Thorns, toggled ability, drains 3 energy per second. While Thorns is active the roots created by Saplings become empowered with dangerous energies! -While active enemies standing on roots take 200 radiation damage with 15% status chance per half-second. -While active allies standing on roots gain +250 armor and allies struck by a melee attack will reflect 50% of damage dealt back upon the enemy as pure puncture damage with 25% status chance.
Ability 4: World Tree, 100 energy. This ability must be cast on a Sapling, turning it into a World Tree. Turning a Sapling into a World Tree increases its remaining duration by 10 seconds and empowers it with new abilities. Created World Trees will last until the Sapling it was cast on expires. -World Tree fires a deadly beam at the nearest enemy within 20 meters that deals 200 electric damage with 25% status chance at a rate of 12 ticks per second. This beam links to up to three additional enemies within 10 meters of the original target. The first linked enemy takes 100 damage per tick, the second takes 50, and the third enemy linked to the beam takes 25 damage per tick. -World Tree fires a healing beam at the ally with the most missing health within 20 meters which restores 40 health per second. If all allies within range are at max health this healing beam will heal a random ally for 5 seconds before searching for a new target restoring 20 shields per second and if health and shields are full it will grant overshields at a rate of 10 per second.
Subsumed ability: Felling.
Signature Weapons Nidhogg: Yggdrasil's signature firearm the Nidhogg is a launcher-type primary weapon designed to resemble a flower with two trigger modes. When firing from the hip the Nidhogg uses a charged trigger. Fully-charged hipfire shots deal enormous damage with a generous blast radius at the cost of a slow charging speed. Aiming down sights causes the weapon to open miniature barrels along its body, blooming like a flower and activating lock-on mode, targeting up to 8 enemies within 60 meters by moving the aiming reticle over them to burst-fire a seeking projectile at each target when the trigger is pulled. Lock-on shots have damage identical to an un-charged hipfire but their blast radius is halved. Both firing modes deal mostly impact, moderate puncture, and low slash damage on direct hit and mostly slash, moderate puncture, and low impact in a radial explosion. Both firing modes have above-average crit and status chance. Nidhogg has a large magazine and max ammo supply for a launcher weapon at the cost of a rather slow reload and low fire &charge rate. When wielded by Yggdrasil this weapon's lock-on mode can target up to 10 enemies. Hvergilmir: Yggdrasil's signature greatsword. Despite being categorized as a heavy blade, this piece of hewn Eidolon is more like a giant rectangular club made of tangled roots which glow with ghostly energy. Very high per-hit damage as well as unusually high follow-through and blocking angle for a greatsword-type heavy blade at the cost of very slow attack speed. Deals mostly radiation, moderate impact, and low puncture and slash damage. High critical chance with only average critical multiplier and status chance. As a unique bonus, when Hvergilmir kills an enemy suffering from radiation status procs the enemy explodes dealing 1% of their max health & shields for every rad proc they were suffering from to all enemies within 6 meters as radiation damage. This effect is increased to 1.5% per rad proc when wielded by Yggdrasil.
Closing Notes: I felt like we hadn't gotten a new dedicated point defender warframe in a while and I wanted to use some concepts that had been sitting around for a while like the eidolon roots as a theme and terraforming as a mechanical basis. I gave Yggdrasil an abundance of defensive abilities along with some deadly attacks and even built-in team support. In any mission where you get to plant your ass on a control point she's sure to be a big hit.

in his wake
Enveloped in vacuum, time moves in strange ways. There remains a standard, of course, by which humanity has always attempted to describe, discern, dissect their passing moments, and the Tenno is only occasionally kept abreast of it whenever he does think to look. He hardly ever does. What does it matter when everything that has and will and could happen might and is and has happened?
Even so, he recognizes the numbers and their intended purpose. Ordis, if asked, is only ever too happy to relay to him the time and date down to the millisecond if he so wished it. The Tenno rarely does. His quarters upon his lander houses very little but among the few things he keeps for some reason he has never properly reckoned with is a single gleaming Ayatan sculpture, studded with amber and cyan stars. It moves in perpetuity, condemned to exist so long as it is empowered to a singular, meaningless function. It is, the Tenno comes to think when more and more of his memories return to him, a perfect distillation of everything Orokin.
In those hours where he cannot find rest, he sits beside it and watches the darkness on the other side of the viewport. Sleep is, of course, as easy as breathing to him now, and it takes no effort on his part to slip into dreams. Good and proper rest as even bodies such as his needs from time to time remains the greater challenge. But in those hours, when his mind and body refuses his will, he sits and listens to the relic click and chime the seconds and minutes an hours away; this relic of golden gods and their continuity used instead by a Tenno to dismember their precious eternity into sixty, sixty, and twenty-four.
It brings him no pleasure, this hatefulness, but does help pass the time.
They know him in Cetus and his presence his strangely lauded. Even Onkko, strange and babbling, seems to speak with praise and promise. The Unum yet stands and the Grineer, while still ever present, have at least been given a heavy reminder that their tresspass will never go without challenge. He has learned the names of those he has served and carried away with him a Zaw of his own design, placed in his Warframe's hands by a sneering Hok. "A parting gift," he had said, knuckling his nose. "But don't come crying to me, surah, if you take off your feet."
They know him now in Fortuna, too. Even the Necralisk has felt his presence, and while they do not yet know his name, the Entrati at least only pretend to be disinterested when he passes through their halls.
It is liberating in its way. The problems of the Solaris are not his, but in the absence of the old war and his would-be mother, they very well could be. Squeamish he is not but the Tenno, in any other existence, might have chosen to stay well away from Deimos. He could, with only Ordis speaking in the Lotus's voice nudging him towards that flesh-cursed moon. And given how thoroughly the Infestation has overtaken the place, any sane person would give it a wide berth. But he does not. The Tenno carves his way through a path of his own choosing, through plains and crags and too much meat, and in his wake, the Lotus drifts further and further away.
---
There is a chronometer blinking lazily from a corner of the dormizone. The numbers are indistinct. The longer he looks at them, the more hesitant they seem to be to wink back into light.
Across the table sits a man with his face. The Tenno has spent centuries asleep but this man has the look of someone who has spent his centuries awake. Even clad in his tactical gear, the Tenno can see that the man has none of his void-scars crawling up his throat and jaw.
"We were always pretty shitty, huh? I mean, uh. Sorry. Pretty… snotty?"
"Yes."
The man grins at him though it looks more like a grimace. His eyelashes are pale and his eyes, like the Tenno's own, are the color of new suns. "Yes?"
"We were always pretty shitty."

thoughts on wf's early game now that i'm just playing through the entire game again with my pc account i guess
the hint at the lotus' "true" nature as a sentient during saya's vigil is very cool
i love saya. i really wish we got to see more of/hear more from her and that she wasn't just relegated to being "onkko's ex-wife, konzu's current wife." the speed with which she decides to move on from onkko and get with konzu after five years of holding onto the idea of seeing onkko again and holding konzu responsible for his disappearance is pretty whiplash-inducing!
the jackal fight is NOT forgiving if you cannot parkour lmao
the lotus confusedly saying "i thought it would be bigger" before the jackal fight because she thought the moa was the jackal is so fucking cute 😭

Do not drink the Kabuchi
anyway,總而言之我是真的不理解Ordis跟希圖斯的關聯,另外營地裡第一次對話裡「Ordis suspects he has spent years missing people. But, their names- their faces- are lost to him. So! These are the ordinary, everyday people the Operator has been fighting to protect. Some of them have even been speaking to Ordis. Ordis is glad his Operator is here."

Saw people talking about things they've never done in warframe and wanted to list some of mine
20 things I've never done in the game as a legendary 3 player with over 3K hours:
1. Other than the quest I've never done one of Kahls missions. I remember reading about it before it was released. I anticipated it so much I literally counted down the days and when it dropped my reaction was pretty much "oh....." it just didn't excite me the way I thought it would. I love Kahl as a character, but his missions are probably the most anti fun thing to be implemented into the game. The only thing that could maybe persuade me into doing them one day is the ephemera, but I wouldn't count on it
2. Never attempted to fight the tridolons by myself. Am I capable? Yes, but eidolons in general don't interest me enough to want to fight all 3 of them without a team, especially after ranking up with Onkko and buying all the arcanes. I'm worn out and over it. Plus, the whole night cycle system is annoying and is another contributing factor. I don't like timed farming or having to try and remember while I'm busy with other things to check when it's night time and usually by the time I remember to check the day cycle is just starting. So, screw it. The eidolons as a whole are a pretty cool concept tho. I mean, giant sentients? They're like the titans of the plains. We're ants to them. The size difference is actually amazing and for someone who is megalophobic fighting them can be both equally terrifying and exciting. I just hate the way de decided to execute the whole thing. Makes it less desirable to do imo
3. Never reached the level cap. I do a lot of steel path endurance runs on Ani for fun, but it has never crossed my mind while in there to try and fight long enough to reach the cap. First, it takes a while to reach it and I don't have that much patience. Second, I don't trust that the game won't crash or my lan cable won't decide to randomly disconnect resulting in me loosing everything and third, I just don't see the point in doing so other than maybe the bragging rights that come with it. I do a few hours and then I dip and restart if I'm up to it
4. Never stayed long enough in the index to fight John Prodman. It only takes an hour, but I just really hate the index. I'm always ready to leave as soon as I spawn in and 9/10 people make the process more boring than it already is with all the rhinos running around hoarding points. Just green globes everywhere you look. I know why they do it, but it's not my preferred play style. I don't really care too much about efficiency, although often times the whole hoarding process makes the missiom longer than it should be anyway. I just want to have fun if I'm going to be there and GOD forbid you don't follow their plan. I've been cursed at so many times and have been witness to other players who are just trying to help being called slurs that I refused to go back in for a very long time. The index is more toxic than it is being on a try hard tridolon team. You're basically given no freedom to play. I'm not a bot and neither is anyone else on the squad. The most I'm willing to do if asked is to not roam the map if I'm the host. If people want to play by a certain strategy maybe they should consider using the recruiting chat instead of throwing temper tantrums like a little child. Meta mentality is an illness
5. Never gone past zone 8 in eso. Literally no point. I just rinse and repeat
6. Never manually put together a K-drive. I rarely use them to begin with, so I don't see a reason in trying to make one of my own. If and when I decide to use one I just use the infested one, bc it looks the coolest. No other K-drive aesthetic comes close to beating its design
7. Never attempted the conclave. Saw that it was pvp and said no, thanks. Pvp makes my anxiety levels shoot through the roof. Adrenaline runs so high I can't even concentrate. It's not fun to me and anxiety is something I already struggle with every waking minute of my life. No need to make it worse
8. I have never attempted to max out all the schools. I think I have 2 left. I tell myself to just get the farming over with, but I loose interest as soon as I go to buy the lenses. It's not a hard process. All I have to do is put a lense on Sayrn and farm eso or just simply do my usual things and my focus will build up over time, but I just can't be bothered for some reason
9. I do sabotage missions and find caches for fun, bc I'm a glutton for treasure hunting, but in all my 7 years of playing I've never gotten nitain as a reward
10. Aside from ranking them I've never equipped a hound or moa as a companion. Their designs are cool, but they don't serve that much purpose to me
11. I've never used a specter. Actually, never even built one
12. I have health restores (the ones that instantly restore all your health) in my gear wheel, but have never used one
13. Never built the smoking body ephemera, bc I can't be bothered to farm the ash piece I need. The circuit made it easier to obtain, but I don't care for it therfore I don't pay it any mind. If he's there for the week I'll never even know it
14. Never played with an incarnon weapon. I know how good they are, but they don't interest me right now. I don't care too much about power. I have weapons I like that get me through whatever I'm doing with no issues and I'm content with that for now
15. Anytime I need standing for my syndicates I just do whatever and let it gradually fill up instead of picking missions off the syndicate tab
16. Never used traps to capture a cephalon target. My focus and ability to follow their movements while scanning them is pretty good, so no need
17. Never picked a spy fissure even if it was the only mission in the tier I was wanting to run
18. Never said anything in the region chat. I just sit back and mind everybody's business
19. Never played the shawzin
20. Never subsumed all my base warframes. I only subsume them when I have a need for their abilities. There's no harm in just getting it all over with, but just like a few other things on this list, I couldn't be bothered

Warframe: My Guide to Solo Endgame 4
Arcanes
The thing that means alot more than I initially thought lmao
I will do my best to keep the Arcanes I recommend to lower ranks in the respective syndicates but alot of these can be bought with Platinum as well! (I have a small help guide in the Extra section in how to get plat without using real money, not clickbait lol)
I will use this to show where they are obtainable: O= Onkko in Cetus D= Little Duck in Fortuna C= Cavalero in Zariman AC= Acolytes drop in Steel Path TE= Teralyst drop in Cetus
Warframe Arcane Nullifier TE
Primary Primary Merciless AC
Secondary Cascadia Empowered C Secondary Merciless AC
Amp Eternal Eradicate C Eternal Onslaught C
Operator Magus Husk/Magus Vigor O Magus Repair D
These are the ones I use the most, for Warframe and Primary it doesn't really matter for me. Nullifier is just a quality of life thing really. The important Arcanes are for Operator, Amp and Secondary (for that tasty Laetum damage)
This was the hardest one so far since I am still trying out things so I am still pretty new myself here! And if anything is unclear the Masterpost have ways to contact me!
--------------------------------------
I will incude this at the end of every post, but if anything is unclear or if you need help then shoot me a message! I am not super used to the new Tumblr layout but I think the ask function is mostly the same?
