WHAT I WANT TO DO

Decided to make a series of about 4 or 5 videos/gifs of short stories with a comic book like layout. Each little block will move at its own time. like those videos you see online where the character moves from one screen to the other but instead of screens it will be comic pages and blocks.

The first story will be about a little bear who just moved out of the house and his parents are going to come visit for Christmas. the first two frames will show how he goes about getting is house ready for the Holiday, then his parents will show up in the third frame while in the fourth and fifth frame it will show them exchanging gifts and having a Christmas dinner. 

The second story will be about what our dogs do when we aren’t home. how they wait for us, how they keep themselves entertained, what happens to that one sock out of the pair that goes missing. why are they so excited when you get home?

the third story will be about what goes on in a cats mind. why do cats behave the way they do? why do they sit on your keyboard while you try to work? why do they like boxes so much?

1.Language Genesis

During the past week have been using Duolingo to learn a new language which in this case would be German same as I have always been with the Russian, the problem with the Russian language is that it uses a separate alphabet making it a bit difficult to learn it, I have always found screaming in these languages funny cause of all the jokes and “memes” used to depict the stereotypical screaming Russian and German, thus my interest was sparked. With my native language  (afrikaans) being a type of dialect of Dutch which in turn is a low German language makes it thus easier for me to learn it. 

So far I have only learned the basics such as man being Mann, woman being Frau, girl is Mädchen and boy is Junge and so on. Whenever I speak German it sounds like its broken so the pronunciation is kind off wrong and off making it in turn a bit funny when heard. With most countries other than native English countries already need to learn English as a secondary language I think it would help learning new languages no matter what the initial inspiration was, learning a new language is a challenge but when finished it gives you an accomplishment for when visiting the country of the learnt language. 

It’ll probably take me a few years to be able to speak German fluently but is totally worth it. When learning a new language it also broadens the mind to evolve further since learning a language requires immense concentration and dedication which in turn improves the minds functionality and effectiveness.

Taking a walk in the city CBD. For the first time in my life I wouldn't have been able to see my mom on mother's day.💔This made me really emotional not only because I can not be with the family but because my mom is the best person in this whole wide world and she deserves to be spoiled by her daughters! I couldn't go to my hometown, Bethlehem, because of obligations @openwindowinstitute. But luckily everything worked out as it was supposed to and they came to visit me! 😂🙊 We decided to change things up a bit and explore new areas in the city!! We came across a place called Arts on Main located in an urban neighborhood in Johannesburg, the Maboneng Precinct. Eateries, art studios and galleries, well isn't this just the life??? Like seriously!!! I just want to pack my bags and live in the middle of this all! It is so pretty, inspiring and literally all I want and need in life! I had such a lekker time with the fam! And I can promise you that this was not the last time that I'm going to walk the streets of this urban neighborhood!!!
