Issued in conjunction with a 2009 exhibition of glass art created by French contemporary artist Jean-Michel Othoniel (b. 1964). With an artist interview conducted by Bernard Marcade, and an exhibitions history. Otherwise, the focus is on full-color views of his installations and individual pieces. A few drawings are added near the end, as well. Much to see and appreciate here.

i love how my name's colors are more vibrant/jewel toned and my blog is more pastel which accurately sums up my two warring aesthetics lolll

Last Line Challenge

A napping Silver is a cherubic one, all rosy glow and angelic hues. This figure draped over Lilia is shadowed and pale, all color stripped from his features as if he were a wraith of the darling child Lilia knows and loves. His trembling mind cannot begin to comprehend the strange dampness that coats his hand from where he grabs at the boy's limp and heavy limbs.

Three random facts

i never learned how to swim :')

i tried to train myself out of my arachnophobia in the third grade by deliberately forcing myself to do a project on spiders so i would have to look at pictures of them. i got an a, and i am still terrified to this day lol

i fractured my collarbone when i was 8 and tried to hide it from everyone by hiding in the couch and trying to push it back in place against the cushions ahahaha....

1. Three ships: i tend to favor platonic stories over romantic, but if i had to choose— puzzleshipping (ygo), frodo/sam (lotr), royai (fmab)

6. Currently watching: house on and off when i get a break to relax

7. Currently consuming: tabouli that my dad made for me <3

8. Currently craving: chocolate, i might go after the mint ice cream in my fridge soon haha
