Jos is any day a better T20 batsman than VK. VK has got more records, but the impact Jos has is unparalleled
HAHAHAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣
I'm sorry but
HAHAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣
I'm curious, what exactly is considered "impact"? How about being the highest run-scorer of 2 T20 World Cups? How about being the player of the tournament in consecutive T20 World Cups? Virat did that. You know what else he did? India played 6 knockout matches between 2014 and 2024. Virat has made a half century or more than that in 5 out of those 6 matches. That's just shy of 400 runs in 6 matches. It makes his average in T20 WC knockout matches over 90. If that's not impactful, I don't know what is.
Is impact related to strike rate? Virat scored 70 off 29 against West Indies, 94 in some 50 odd balls against WI, and his century against Afghanistan came in 52 balls. The first knock has a strike rate of over 200. Virat chased down 48 off the last 3 overs against Pakistan at the MCG in 2022 and 39 off the last 3 overs against Australia at Mohali in 2016. The latter was a virtual quarter final, and Virat's knock guaranteed India's progress to the semi finals.
Is impact related to hitting sixes? Well, for all that Jos is a renowned six-hitter, it was Virat's six against Haris Rauf at the MCG was declared the shot of the century by ICC. An equation that read 28 off 8 became 16 off 6. It was Virat who hit the two sixes that were required to get it down till here.
Virat has time and again won matches out of nowhere for India. The Mohali 82 against Australia, the MCG 82 against Pakistan, the 72 in 2014 SFs vs South Africa, I can go on and on here-- Heck, Virat was most of the, if not the sole reason that India got as far as they did in the 2014, 2016 and 2022 editions of the T20 World Cup. He is a massively impactful player, who delivers whenever needed. Even yesterday's final, take Virat's 76 out of the equation and we had only a 100 on the board to defend. I doubt even Jasprit could have done much with that.
Virat ended his career in T20s as unquestionably the best T20 player of this generation. Nobody comes close to having the kind of impact he does on the game. He carried India in almost every single T20 World Cup he played, and nobody deserved to lift that trophy as much as he did.
I did not intend this as an insult to Jos. He is a great player, one of the very best to have played the game, but he's not better than Virat. Nope, sorry, he isn't. And it isn't limited to Jos either. There isn't any player in the world, not Rohit, not Warner, not Babar, not Maxwell, no nobody in this generation comes close to having the kind of class, poise and impact of Kohli in T20s.
People are allowed differing opinions - sure, the stats say Virat but in terms of coming in when the team needs and changing the game momentum Jos is one of the best at having an impact
Numbers aren’t always everything, I think is the point the original ask was making. And honestly, looking at the tournament that just concluded, VK really only made an impact in the final, whilst Jos was a lynchpin to a lot of England’s batting innings.
Not saying you’re wrong and - as I said - everyone has opinions and it’s great they’re different because it allows us to discuss thing :) But I think the original ask was talking more about match impact than stats. There is a reason he was RR’s impact batsman for the IPL this year.

If Yashasvi Jaiswal is added, it could change how the batters play, which could mean that Kohli moves to the No. 3 spot. The pitches in the Caribbean might be better for spinners, which means that Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal could play essential parts. Conversely, Afghanistan has a strong group of spin bowlers led by Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman, who could make it hard for India's top-order batters. Meetings And Records From The Past In eight T20Is, India and Afghanistan have played each other. India has a strong record, winning seven of the eight games. Top five T20I knocks in honor of Babar Azam
Babar Azam will make history when he enters the field on Friday, April 14, against New Zealand as the third Pakistani player to appear in 100 Men's T20Is.
The only two Pakistani players to accomplish this mark in men's T20Is are Shoaib Malik (123) and Mohammad Hafeez (119).
The cool-headed Pakistan captain and Mohammad Rizwan make for a formidable opening tandem in Twenty20 Internationals.
In honor of Babar's 100th T20I appearance, here are a few of his most impressive knocks in the format.
Tumblr media
122 off 59 vs. South Africa, Centurion, 2021
The duo of Babar and Rizwan is formidable. Although Rizwan often takes the lead in initiating conflict, Babar has occasionally blasted away the opponent with his devastating shots. One such match was the third Twenty20 International against South Africa in 2021.
Babar, who had to beat a challenging 204, started ahead. After needing a few overs to settle in, he began wreaking havoc on the bowlers. His fifty came off of only 27 balls, and he kept on charging with ease. He scored 122 runs off 59 balls, bringing his team to the cusp of victory before being removed with 7 runs still needed. Then, with two overs to spare, Pakistan was able to chase down the target. Also, this was Babar's first century ever.
110* off 66 vs. England, Karachi, 2022
This was Babar's second T20I century, and it was just as remarkable as the first. Pakistan needed to respond after losing the first Twenty20 International. In their first innings, England scored 199 runs. Babar and Rizwan were in a different mindset, and they were going to have to work hard to beat their previous 200 scores. Pakistan defeated England by 10 wickets with Babar's help. He scored 110* from 66 deliveries. Babar knocked in the winning runs with an inside-out four through the covers, capping off a decisive victory.
97* off 58 vs. West Indies, Karachi, 2018
In 2018, four years before he scored a hundred, Babar played a superb inning at home against the West Indies that nearly reached that mark. Fakhar Zaman, who had begun the innings for Pakistan with Babar, was dismissed in the opening over. Babar Azam, then 24 years old, nearly reached triple digits while facing the Windies bowling attack alone. He had previously only scored three fifty-plus scores in his career. Babar, batting third with Hussain Talat, faced 58 balls and made 97 (not out) off them by hitting 13 fours and a six. Pakistan scored an impressive 205/3 and successfully defended their total with their formidable bowling assault.
79* off 53 vs. New Zealand, Christchurch, 2022
Babar's 79* came in a low-scoring chase against New Zealand's legendary bowling assault on their home turf. After 20 overs, Pakistan's bowlers had successfully limited the Black Caps to 147 for 8. Yet, the hosts did not surrender without a struggle. They took the crucial early wicket of Rizwan, reducing Pakistan to 37/2 in the sixth over. But Babar did not stop. He carefully stabilized the Pakistani batting, then pounced on poor balls to finish the game. Even though New Zealand took a few more wickets, they were helpless against Babar's partnerships with the middle order. As the visitors won by six wickets in the 19th over, the Pakistan skipper remained not out.
68* off 52 vs. India, Dubai, 2021
This is the 2021 Men's ICC T20 World Cup game. Babar was one of many heroes, yet his efforts always stood out. Once India's score was reduced to 151/7, Pakistan's batting effort was magnified to confuse the Indian bowlers. Babar complemented Rizwan's incredible performance perfectly on violin. The two hitters worked well together and relentlessly pounded the Indian defense. Babar's game-winning hits, including some that drew significant attention for online cricket betting, led Pakistan to their first victory over India in the tournament's history.

Bazball, A flash in the pan or something bigger?
Read this article on my WordPress: here
News came out of Pakistan that England had scored a whopping 506 runs on the first day of the Test in 75 overs. This beat the record for most runs on Day 1 of a Test, which has stood since 1910, and likely would’ve seen the all-time record of a combined 588 runs on day 2 of the 2nd 1936 Test between England and India had bad light not stopped the final 15 overs from happening.
Just as a comparison on what could be considered an easy-to-bat-on pitch in Perth, Western Australia, the Australians made 598 runs in almost 153 overs, over double the number of overs over 2 days against what would be a less dangerous bowling attack than Pakistans in the West Indies, an amalgamation of Caribbean countries.
Let’s go even further with this, a One Day game between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan finished after 99 and two-thirds of an over scoring 627 runs total. One Day games have fielding restrictions which open up the batting and allow for more aggressive scores. 627 divided by 99.67 is approximately 6.29 runs an over. The Australians in their test match had a scoring rate of approximately 3.92 runs an over, much more in line with what you’d expect over a 5-day test match. The English? They were scoring 6.75 runs an over on the first day of the test.
The English Cricket team has been known for this type of aggression batting in test matches since Brendon “Baz” McCullum became Head coach of the test team in May 2022. This was after the 2021-22 Ashes series in Australia, in which England lost the 5-match series 4-0. Such is the way of the test side right now, that the England side that won the Twenty20 World cup in November last month, a cautious but still striking the ball at over a run a ball score of 52 English Test captain Ben Stokes in the final, led to fellow player Jos Buttler joking  “If he batted like that in a Test match he’d drop himself”. For the record, England’s runs per over in that game? 7.26.
The question is, should Australia be worried that England is just dominating Pakistan right now? Not yet at the very least, Pakistan are yet to bat, so we are yet to see how much the pitch is contributing to England’s batting, however, England does have a home series vs Australia in the middle of next year, and recent Australian tours of England have not proven fruitful for us, the best we have managed in recent years is the 2019 2-2 drawn series, meaning we retained the Ashes and left England for the first time since 2001 with the trophy.
But with England being able to sustain this way of batting in test matches since McCullum’s takeover of the helm and notably aggressive batter Ben Stokes becoming Test Captain, I would not be holding my breath for a successful 2023 Ashes Campaign for the Australians.

Top 2 Teams to Emerge as Qualifiers from Group A In ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022
The ICC T20 World Cup is one of the most-watched international ICC tournaments, drawing millions of cricket fans. Because of its fast-paced, action-packed, short-duration nature, many Fantasy Cricket fans enjoy this game format. After months of anticipation, the 2022 T20 World Cup kicked off this week.
The T20 World Cup in 2022 has already produced some memorable moments. Namibia's upset of Sri Lanka was the highlight of Group A, as was UAE leg-spinner Karthik Meiyappan's magnificent hat-trick against the Asia Cup champions.
With all teams having played two matches, it is still unclear which two teams will advance to the Super 12s.
Scenarios for Group A Qualification: Who will succeed in making the Super 12s?
●    Netherlands
★ 4 points
★ Net Run Rate: +0.149
★ Final Match-Sri Lanka
The Netherlands moved into first place after a thrilling win over Namibia on Tuesday. They pulled off a similar run chase against the UAE two days earlier, reaching the modest target of 112 in the 20th over.
The Dutch bowled beautifully and held their nerve in crucial moments. However, even though they are at the top, their qualification is far from certain. Sri Lanka now has a higher net run rate than Scott Edwards' team following their dominant win over the UAE. As a result, any defeat against Sri Lanka will leave the Dutch relying on the UAE to defeat Namibia.
If they win, they will finish first in their group and advance to Group 1, which currently includes Australia, New Zealand, England, and Afghanistan.
●   Namibia
★ 2 points
★ Net Run Rate: +1.277
★ Final Match: UAE
Namibia suffered a heartbreaking defeat against the Netherlands, especially considering David Wiese and JJ Smit batted only nine balls between them. Despite the loss, Gerhard Erasmus' team is still in good shape to qualify due to their high net run rate. The equation is straightforward: beat UAE by any means necessary.
The earlier game features Sri Lanka and the Netherlands. If both Sri Lanka and Namibia win, they will advance on net run rate because they are already ahead of the Netherlands' +0.149. Who finishes first or second is also determined by the net run rate. Sri Lanka will be eliminated if the Netherlands and Namibia win.
●   Sri-Lanka
★ 2 points
★ Net Run Rate: +0.600
★ Final Match: Netherlands
After a hiccup against Namibia, Sri Lanka now controls their destiny. They will qualify for the Super 12s if they defeat the Netherlands. Which group they end up in is determined by the margin of victory, as well as Namibia's performance against the UAE. If they lose, they will need UAE to beat Namibia by a large margin to qualify by miracle.
●    United Arab Emirates (UAE)
★ 0 points
★ Net Run Rate: -2.028
★ Final Match: Namibia
UAE can still qualify mathematically. But they require a miracle. First, the Netherlands must defeat Sri Lanka. Second, they must thrash Namibia by a massive margin to reverse their net run rate of -2.028 versus the African nation's much superior +1.277.
Our Verdict
Sri Lanka has not yet qualified for the Super 12 round. The results of the remaining matches will determine which team advances to the next round. To advance to the Super 12s of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, Sri Lanka must win its respective game against the Netherlands.
The Super 12 stage kicks off on Saturday with Australia vs. New Zealand at the SCG, followed by England vs. Afghanistan in Perth.

You might understand why. The West Indies had not only lost their previous six games, but had lost most of them: for 120 tracks and 53 races against Pakistan, then with 55 bullets left and a huge 176 bullets remaining against Bangladesh. In five of those six matches, West Indies failed to beat 50 overs. Against India on Friday, West Indies beat their full 50 overs and came within a stroke of…

The T20 World Cup Festival is coming to cheer you | Super 365
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is the global title of Twenty20 cricket. Coordinated by cricket’s overseeing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC), the competition presently comprises of 16 groups, including the main ten groups from the rankings at the given cutoff time and six different groups picked through the T20 World Cup Qualifier.
The occasion has by and large been held like clockwork. Be that as it may, the 2020 version of the competition was booked to occur in 2020 in Australia, however because of COVID-19, the competition was delayed to 2021, with the host changed to India, five years after the finish of the 2016 release. Not with standing, because of the COVID-19 pandemic in India, the matches were moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. In May 2016, the ICC set forward having a competition in 2018, with South Africa being the conceivable host. But at the finish of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, the ICC dropped the possibility of 2018 edition.
Super365 , is the most trending online Gaming website in India . Super365’s goal is to make a great diversion in gaming and to be the most enhanced jungle gym in the web based gaming market.
Seven competitions have so far been played, and hands down the West Indies has won the competition on different events. The debut 2007 World Twenty20, was arranged in South Africa, and won by India, who crushed Pakistan in the last at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. The 2009 competition occurred in England, and was won by the past second place, Pakistan, who crushed Sri Lanka in the last at Lord’s. The third competition was held in 2010, facilitated by the nations making up the West Indies cricket crew. Britain crushed Australia in the last in Barbados, which was played at Kensington Oval, winning their most memorable worldwide competition. The fourth competition, the 2012 World Twenty20, was held in Asia interestingly, with all matches played in Sri Lanka. The West Indies won the competition by overcoming Sri Lanka in the last, winning its most memorable global competition since the 2004 Champions Trophy.[8] The fifth competition, the 2014 ICC World Twenty20, was facilitated by Bangladesh, and was won by Sri Lanka overcoming India, Sri Lanka being the first group to play in quite a while. The 6th competition, the 2016 ICC World Twenty20, was facilitated by India and was won by West Indies overcoming England. Australia are the ongoing T20 World Cup holders, having beaten New Zealand in the 2021 last, bringing home their most memorable championship.
Not long after with the reception of Twenty20 matches by other cricket sheets, the prevalence of the arrangement developed with startling group participation, new homegrown competitions, for example, Pakistan’s Faysal Bank T20 Cup and Stanford 20/20 competition, and the monetary motivation in the format.
Hope this year going to be the best for team India!
