This is a PSA for everyone who loves shiny meloetta! I usually don't ask for reblogs, but be sure to do so to spread the word!
By completing the pokemon home app's paldea dex completely, you get a mon that was originally shiny locked!
This is the first time this mon has been available, shiny legitimately to my knowledge.
I'm currently working on this, so stand by for another shiny mythical post in the future.
FYI, there is no time limit to complete this, just like with the pokeball magerna.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention this, but for it to count, all mons need to be from sv. they need to be either caught or hatched in the game your trying to complete the home dex of.

honestly the hardest part about writing for pokemon player character is deciding their endgame teams

Mar 11th shiny haul slowly getting back to doing 'em daily but not there just yet lol we got Araquanid with the uncommon mark, Swinub, Tangela and Kantonian Tauros with the uncommon mark!

AAAAAHH!!!! grand oak jumpscare! (this is like the first time hes shown up again since pkmn home came out 5 years ago lol) ANYWAY YAY SHINY MELOETTA!!!! LOOK AT HER
#there were a lot of pokemon i needed to catch again esp in kitakami/the terrarium because i completed their dexes mainly via transferring#from older games lol. the ones i was dreading the most were the trade evos but thankfully i got all the ones i was missing from the gts#with a paldea origin mark and got milotic in an online tera raid lol

cons of completing a living dex: some of these little assholes are VERY HARD TO TRACK DOWN
