Yes this is a rare pairing that randomly got stuck on my mind. ———————— Neuvillette and Zhongli had a connection, one could say it’s simply because they are the same species. However they had seen the birth of life, humans, mortals, creatures and how Celestial took over Teyvat. The two had separate opinions, ideals and mind set. Zhongli abandoned him to help humans, or Neuvillette would bitterly say that ‘Morax foolishly fell for an adepti, how … human of him’. Now Neuvillette has Furina to train and guide to be a decent Archon, Whilst Zhongli is sipping his osmanthus wine- What happens when the two see each other after nearly 3000 years?             me wanting to “redo” lumine’s lore . . . not that i actually provided any insight to my theoretical lore . . . but now i got something and future interactions may be contingent on what i’ve come up with here  .  LOOSELY BASED ON THE THEORY FROM THIS VIDEO  .             LUMINE’s name was given to her by her friends and archons when she could not remember her name after rousing from her bout with the sustainer  .  she was named LUMINE for her glowing clothes and abilities  (  luminous like a firefly  )  .             lumine does not recall her original  /  birth name of YING  ,  however she remembers her brother as it’s engraved in her mind deeply  .             note  :  i’m going to make this her mainverse  ,  meaning people who interact with her  ,  she will continue to act as she would in-story  ,  but will be quick to deny any claims she is TRAVELER’S  (  aka -- aether  ) sister for sake of keeping him safe  .  she is just like traveler  ,  an adventurer on odd jobs but instead of seeking her brother  (  as she knows where he is  )  ,  she is in search of news of the upcoming storm  .  it could be that DAINSLEIF is well familiar of LUMINE aside from his travels with her  ,  but also through tales regaled  .             there is tales of a glowing figure fighting amongst archons during this war  ,  helping the people  ,  however details of this PERSON is little known and no names were ever mentioned  (  if there was  ,  they were lost to the world  )  .             lumine  /  ying hasn’t sided with the abyss . . . nor has she sided with celestia  ,  but she is not unbiased  .  she got stuck FIVE HUNDRED YEARS in the PAST while aether  /  kong remained in slumber in an unknown place  ,  waking 500 years in the FUTURE  .  or  ,  she knows that’s what is true for aether  .  for aether  ,  he’s waking 500 years later  ;  for lumine  ,  she’s traveled 500 years into the past . . . hoping to change something so she can protect her brother  .             lumine has participated in the archon war  ,  having been trapped years in the past  ;  she has fought along with numerous archons  ,  so much so she has formed camaraderie with several of the archons and made enemies of the others  .  she has helped with killing archons and supporting others . . . she has seen the terrors of a ravished teyvat  ,  driven to fight to find her brother  .               though unnecessary to feed off the powers of celestia to maintain an immortal body  (  as she was much counted as a god from her own world  ;  through her merits and experience  ,  lumine could easily have won a spot in celestia or became an archon  )  ,  lumine lives within celestia and watched teyvat recover from the deep scars  ,  using a variety of sources to find her brother  .             war-torn and tired  ,  lumine wanders a recovered teyvat to seek her brother . . . and though she’s found him  ,  she doesn’t reach out  .  she knows there’s another storm brewing and reaching out may endanger her brother  .  opting to protect him from the shadows  ,  lumine continues her journey alone  ,  borrowing the powers of teyvat as her own has largely weakened due to being sealed by the sustainer of heavenly principles  .               unlike aether  ,  lumine has retained a bit of her power  ;  aether had fought back greatly which resulted in the complete sealing  /  loss of his worldly abilities while lumine  ,  caught unaware  ,  succumbed without as much as a fight  ,  allowing her to retain some of her abilities  .  because of the partial sealing  ,  it’s as if her power reservoir is half-empty  ,  allowing her to take on the elemental powers of teyvat  (  she does not require to resonate at the statues  ,  she can directly tap into those powers via celestia  )  .  lumine’s original powers is derived  (  largely  )  from LIGHT  ,  a lot of her abilities revolve around blinding rays and burning  ;  she can also heal  ,  but she’s less skilled with that aspect of her ability  .             in a sense  ,  though lumine is the younger twin  ,  due to the time gap  ,  lumine is now older than aether  ,  more versed in the world of teyvat and celestia than aether  ,  and perhaps has more connections to the various entities  ,  factions  ,  and people of this current world  .

So much of the frost-wind swordsman is hidden behind carefully placed facades, that those closest to him know little of his true self.

The only ones who did, were flames. One was a flame lit brightly, but know only when cloaked by the darkness does the flame truly burn, the other a flame gentle but too powerful, burning itself away.

Nether flame knows of each other, although they share a yearning for a frost they cannot have.

The frost wishes for the flame, but one flame is one who remembers far too much, and wishes for the memories to fade, so he can love what he once did, the other trying to remember, only the memories are fading. She remembers far too little of what she once loved.

The frost wishes for his family, but who the family of his truly is, unclear.

Or, Kaeya wants to be with his family, but doesn’t know who his family really is, but his brother and sister also want to find him, whoever he really is.
