A drawing inspired by all quiet in the western front and 1917(film). in the book Paul mentions that two butterflies flew near the trenches and stood on the corpses, plus Scho and Blake in the scene about cherry trees and their flowers, I drew it and it made me a little happy

A ten part semi-anthology horror series. Each episode is a story taking place in a village in a valley on the Yorkshire -Lancashire border in different points in history, in a non-chronological order. Beyond the location, the only real link between episodes is the recurring idea of the danger of bodies of water. A child drowns, a veteran of World War I is agitated near the river, and the first and last episodes deal with the aftermath and immediately preceding events, respectively, of a catastrophic flood.

The last episode contextualises the first, which itself serves as something of a framing device or justification for the existence of the other episodes set in the past. The intervening episodes together build up the suspense with the recurring theme of water so that the final ending is unsettling but crucially satisfying. When I finished the series I immediately listened to the first episode again, and noticed the narrator mentioning locations in the valley that were the setting for later stories.

Family Feud Nominations, Who is the Best Doctor Who Family

If I've missed a character out of one of the families let me know (within reason, I imagine all these families are massive in the EU, so prioritise tv or significant characters)

Currently, the only rule is no families may inculde anyone who is even ambiguously The Doctor, it'll get super complicated super fast imo

Any characters, eg River, who can link up multiple different families to create a single massive family unit will be treated on a case by case basis. If it is possible to pick one of the smaller family units that they are a part of to include them in while not including them in any of the others (in a way everyone will agree at least makes sense) they will be included in that family only, otherwise they will not be included

Please bare in mind when you are nominating that I am hoping to keep the number of nominations under 64 to run this as a mini-tournament. This is not a hard rule so if nominations do exceed 64 its not a big deal, just something I'd like everyone to bare in mind
