Had quite a scare today. Nova got scared while on the coffee table and she jumped and possibly landed wrong. It happened so fast that I didn’t immediately see that something was wrong. She started to walk funny then hid under my bed. I got her out and she seemed fine so I decided to brush her. 5 mins later I put her down and she lets at a terrible sounding meow and wouldn’t move. She then starts to pee and poop and pant very heavily. While freaking out we go to the emergency vet and go through the motions. They scare me with the worst possible outcome + most amount of money 👎🏻. Long story short she got tests done. No broken bones, no embolism, nothing. She’s on some pain meds for the next couple of days and I’m keeping an eye on her to make sure nothing pops up.
