Mum’s takeaway bowl of Bee Hoon Soup (米粉汤) has thick rice vermicelli with plenty of ingredients like meat ball, pork slices, pig’s liver, mushrooms and lettuce.
In contrast, my Economy Rice (菜饭) only had two dishes of bitter gourd & egg stir-fry plus a whole chicken leg with caramelized onions reduction. Three dishes, if you also count the white rice.

Ok, so are thoughts of cannibalism that concerning to people??
Like, how much is too much time thinking about it? I don't want to hurt anyone... I'm just really curious what a cooked person would taste like! (I would not eat raw meat, why would I do that)
If I were given the opportunity, like a strange chef caught my attention and offered a meal of finely cooked human meat, I would have a hard time refusing the chance of such a fascinating experience. I know people think it's the greatest taboo known to mankind, but under the specific highly unlikely yet still possible circumstances that the meat being served is consensually and ethically sourced, why not? I just think about it once in a while and want to know if what convicted cannibals say about the taste are true. I saw a vid recently of some guys combining meats to try recreating the flavor profile described and maybe I'll have my conclusion that way and be done with it. I dont want anyone to be hurt!! I dont want to hurt people.

Breakfast from the coffeeshop near to where we are staying. Mum had the dry style Bak Chor Mee or Minced Pork Noodles (肉脞面). She chose mee pok (面薄) or flat yellow noodles for her carbohydrate. Toppings included braised mushrooms, boiled pork slices, pig’s livers and minced pork.
As for me, I have the Vegetarian Rice with curry mock mutton & potato, imitation pig’s intestines and black pepper mock pork slices over white rice. Even though they are all plant-based foods, still we wanted them to look like the real thing they represented.
