Hello hello new mutual ❤️ I saw your bio says you love 90s players, and lately I've been getting into the older footballers fandom. I'm curious about your top 10 favourite 90s footballers if that's ok? 😊🤝✌️ (I need more footballers to gush about, so far I've discovered Paolo Maldini from that decade😍😘)
Hello~~
Omg, this is an hard question—
Most of them are Italians because when I was younger I always tried to not miss a match and because I didn't have much knowledge about other players, or the foreigner players I knew at the time were very few-
BTW, I had to think 10 mins straight for this HAHAH
1) Edgar Davids
Literally the first football player I ever seen and fell in love with him immediately for his play style and look—
2) Alessandro Del Piero, he was the legend in my class. I loved his hair so badly, then he became bald in 2006 :')
3) Roberto Baggio. No words for him, just pure love for the person he is.
5) Gennaro Gattuso, he could be easily me bcs of his behavior😭 (He has this cute puffy face I wanna strangle him)
Smash
6) Paolo Maldini. Man do I have to say smth?
7) Filippo "Pippo" Inzaghi, he got me jumping everytime he scored a goal even if I didn't like the team he was currently playing for, but damn
8) Last but not least, because I can't think of other football players at the moment, Fabio Cannavaro, he also became bald btw
Help, I hope you could read and understand smth from my poor grammar ahdhag, but thanks for asking!!💘
oh i def agree both the inzaghi siblings are insaneee but there’s something so comedic about pirlo writing in his literal autobiography how crazy pippo is. So bad he had to mention it in his book
pippo is a weirdo, with weird pre-game rituals, weird diet (i remember bobo making fun of that bdhdjdjd) and weird behaviour in general. mone is a weirdo too, but he is also a bit twisted and bitter, and possibly inappropriate. two different breeds of insane. love them both.
Every time without fail whenever I mention Filippo Inzaghi in a conversation after a minute when the conversation is over my dad kinda sings the name "pippo". I don't understand this phenomenon, but it's fun to watch
