When Marine Le Pen calls her embezzlement conviction a "witch hunt," she isn't crying wolf—she’s telling the hard, bitter truth. In an era where populists are routinely targeted by the political establishment, her words echo the sentiment many of us have known for years: the system doesn’t punish corruption—it punishes dissent.

Le Pen, leader of the National Rally (Rassemblement National), has been a thorn in the side of the French elite for decades. Her unapologetic stance on immigration, national sovereignty, and French identity terrifies the globalist class. She dares to say what ordinary French citizens whisper at dinner tables and pub corners. And for that, she’s been branded a pariah, a bigot, a fascist—every name in the book, except the one that actually applies: patriot.

So now, conveniently ahead of a new European election cycle and with the populist tide surging once again, the French court finds Le Pen guilty of embezzling EU funds—a charge rooted in alleged misallocation of European Parliament expenses for party-related staff. Sound familiar? Because it is. This is the same recycled tactic used across the West: lawfare. Legal warfare against opposition.

Let’s not forget the obvious irony here: the European Union—an unelected bureaucratic circus drowning in its own corruption scandals—is suddenly clutching its pearls over an anti-EU politician's expense claims? Please. That’s like a pickpocket accusing you of theft after lifting your wallet.

And what’s the actual scandal? That some parliamentary assistants were doing party work? That’s not embezzlement. That’s politics. Every party in every European country has played fast and loose with those rules for years—especially those loyal to the Brussels orthodoxy. But they're not being dragged into courtrooms or publicly humiliated. Why? Because they're good little Europhiles who don’t rock the boat.

Make no mistake—this isn’t about money. This is about message control. The French establishment, in tandem with its EU handlers, fears a resurgent nationalist movement. They’ve seen what Brexit did. They saw what Trump nearly pulled off twice. They know Le Pen is dangerously close to winning the Élysée next time around. So, they do what cowards always do: they try to rig the game.

They slap her with a €250,000 fine and try to bury her in legalese, hoping to scare off voters and fracture her support. But it won’t work. Because the French people, like the British before them, are waking up. They see through the media fog. They understand that when the establishment fights this dirty, it’s because they’ve already lost the moral high ground.

We’ve seen this script before. First they mock you. Then they fear you. Then they prosecute you. And finally, if you’re strong enough—you win.

Marine Le Pen is not the villain here. She is the warning shot. And if the French Republic still has any democratic soul left, they’ll ignore the courtroom theatre and listen to the woman on the podium, who’s been fighting for them since the day she entered politics.

The real embezzlers aren’t the populists—they’re the globalists robbing nations of their borders, their values, and their sovereignty.

And that, mes amis, is the real crime.

I'm certainly not a Democrat fan at all. I was a registered Democrat for years and will never be again. But I digress.
