Flashback: Before the “Trump baby” balloon flew over Britain this month, “Trump Rat” was making it’s way through the streets of the U.S.A.

John Post Lee, producer of the “Trump Rat” project, says that the balloon isn’t about simply mocking the president; the point, he says, is to “hold a mirror to how I believe him [President Trump] to be—a belittler… utterly unpresidential.”

The custom-made, 15-foot-tall, inflatable balloon was funded through a Kickstarter campaign and aims to use “the language and power of art to make resistance to the Trump regime more robust and visually engaging.”
