Almost everyone that I know who is into BTD6 has been asking me to make a monkeysona lol. So here he is! Lieutenant James, the Faceless Tower's top engineer. James is tired, he wants to go home, he has no idea what he's doing but it works. He's the youngest of Jones, Churchill, and Brickell (all types of commanders/leaders) as well as the lowest rank (the latter 3 being commander, captain, and admiral in that order). He's kind of like that dad/uncle friend who's chill as hell but is also willing to just lay down and relax after a hard work day. He looks older than he actually is (looks 35, pushing 40) but is actually 20-25 (depending on the situation). In his workshop he wears his level 10 apron, but out in battle loves his level 20 rubber coat and hat. Level 1: can see camo right away but doesn't extend to other towers. Has basic 0-0-0 engineer gun. Cannot pop lead and/or ceramics, but is too slow to pop yellows and/or pinks. Attack speed is at about 10% and remains that way. Level 3: gains ultimate to run around and temporarily upgrade any Bomb Shooters, Tack Shooters, Banana Farms, Spike Factory, and/or Monkey Villages (name: Faceless Upgrade). Allows them to temporarily see camo, a 10% range increase, and a 5% damage increase (if it allows for it). When the ability is activated, Lieutenant James will go running over to the selected tower and will proceed to tinker with it for 1 round, however he will then not attack on the field. Has a 5-0-0 engineer gun. Cannot pop lead and/or ceramics, but can now pop yellows and pinks. Level 10: gains passive ability that gives any Bomb Shooters, Tack Shooters, Banana Farms, Spike Factory, and/or Monkey Villages perma-seeing camo, a 20% range increase, and a 10% damage increase (name: Operation Faceless). When Faceless Upgrade gets activated upon one of the towers, there is a 25% range increase and a 15% damage increase. Engineer gun gets swapped for basic revolver that can pop all but ceramics. Level 20: Attack speed increases 50% and regular pistol is swapped out for golden one which can pop all bloon types. Gains ultimate ability that allows for James to fan out all 6 of his bullets in his weapon that targets 6 bloons on the track (name: Fast Fan). two anatomy practices trying to build critters from skeletons. first one is a monkey mutt, bottom is a....... mutt. already bored of the monkey and wanting to redo the bottom cfgsd

i am mentally disabled and struggle to visualize 3D images in my head, i can barely see images in my head period anymore. trying to draw is a nightmare because i'm going off memory, and not visual memories. just informational. so lots of reference images and 3D models are needed buT WAIT it's hard to take in 3D information as well. i'm constantly bumping into shit and making weird mistakes movement wise. so i bought some 3D models (toys. they're toys. but cool way... way too expensive ones...) to try and figure this shit out. ontop of all that i just can't focus or remember shit so i lose interest or forget what i'm doing constantly.

but i enjoy the challenge if i'll be honest. i have learning disabilities but i'm not intellectually disabled, so doing things that makes my mind work really helps keep me going. it's just a matter of following through mostly.

about the pieces themselves, the monkey was a mix of a bunch of different primates (mainly marmosets, sportive lemurs, and bush babies but others). and the other guy is like... dinosaur + crocodilian but a mammal / canine / kangaroo thing idk i'm just like "awoogoa i can't just choose one fucking animal for my sona like every other furry!!!!! i gotta choose 5439053405!!!!! cause animals are fucking RAD"

I MADE A PREY SONA :D

He’s a carnivorous alien primate I thought up a while back that’s abt the size of a pug. He’s a lil chaotic gremlin who will steal you bones and either sell them, eat them or both. Also I forgot to mention this in the ref but his species can produce an electric charge in the form of an emp or a zap to either stun predators or help in hunting. I’m in love with how he turned out and I hope y’all like him too^^

I'll always be super encouraging of making primate furry ocs. I've seen a lot of posts abt primate furries that are like "buh but they're uncanny and too close to human" and like. that's such a fucking weird assertion. they're literally not. they're funny animals just like any other funny animal. and I've heard stories of other primate furries being insulted or people turning their nose up at them and its like stop being weird and rude abt people's ocs/sonas. wolves may not be my cup of tea but you don't see me running around acting like an ass about people's wolf ocs, y'know?

primates are cool and fun and cute and totally underrated, make a proboscis monkey oc broaden your horizons its good for the soul

In my mad quest to draw my monkey oc, Dragon, I have gone... bananas apeshit insert primate related joke here.

(for anyone confused, this is me, it’s my dragonsona as a baboon. I realize it’s confusing to be a dragon but also have an oc named Dragon that is completely unrelated.)

Anyway. I have really had a soft spot for monkey characters for a while and that has grown quite a lot while making my own. Fun fact: I experimented with making my sona a baboon at one point, but it just feels wrong to be anything but a dragon after having dragon-related usernames for years.

I had a good time with this one, making this funny monkey. Made this for a good friend of mine, which he donated in response for me drawing his sona. I never did a monkey sona, so I think I did well on this, especially if this gave me a chance for drawing a more primate-like skull. Thank you for supporting me!
