❥ Day 11 - Favourite photo(s) of Catherine with the British royal family Catherine's relationship with the Windsor family is quite possibly one of my favorite things ever. She's the daughter Charles always wanted, is Camilla and Sophie's best friend, Anne and Tim adore her, and she's the ride-or-die for William's siblings Zara and Mike and their families. Edward is like the dorky uncle who’s almost a best friend. Even though we don't get to see her interact with the younger Edinburghs as much, the short time we do see them together only proves that she's like an older sister to them. And even I, with my complicated relationship with the Yorks, can admit that, despite what everyone would have us believe, the girl squad of Bea, Cat, and Genie proves everyone wrong with their friendship.

'Try to make the best of it' was what he counselled each of his three elder children to do when their marriages began to falter. As you will discover in Chapter 12, in his practical, pragmatic way he made heroic attempts to help Charles and Diana as their marriage failed. 'I did my best,' he told me. 'We did our best.'

'Did they do their best?' I asked.

He didn't answer.

'Anne did her best,' he said. When Princess Anne's first marriage foundered, the Queen and Prince Philip were saddened, of course, but as the Duke put it to me 'What can you do? It isn't easy. She tried to make it work. She really did.' A few years later, when Anne had remerried, the Duke told me that she and her new husband were having a 'rocky patch - you're married, you know how it is?'

'I do,' I said.

'I don't know how to help,' he said. He shook his head. He made no attempt to hide his distress and concern. It clearly weighed on him quite heavily. It must have done because this conversation was taking place in public: at a charity fund-raising lunch in the Cabinet War Rooms. We had only just taken our places: food was being served. I was seated one place away from the Duke. He turned to the middle-aged woman who was seated between us. 'As a rule, I try to keep out of these things' he explained.

'But you want to help', said the woman, who had married children of her own.

'Yes,' said the Duke, contemplating his starter, 'but I don't know what to say - except, 'Keep going, it will work out. With good will on both sides, it usually does.' He sighed. 'Children.'

Super nice dude, didn’t get a photo with him we were both on a flight to LA :3. I was sooo tired.

2) Zara Phillips 8/10

Really nice, same name as me. She complimented my hair!! Actually so gorgeous and sweet!!

3) Prince Edward 119018291/10

So funny, charming and kind. He complimented my dedication to instruments. One of the kindest people I’ve met.

4) Princess Sophie 9/10

Gorgeous, so sweet and patient. I stutter really bad when I get nervous and I was like ‘ahh, I’m so so sorry I’m so nervous’ she was like ‘its fine happens to the best of us’.

5) Princess Anne 10/10

Sweet, loved her voice and we chatted about Scotland. She is so gorgeous and sweet. I complimented her dedication to horse riding.

All of these people are so so sweet and I’m so lucky to have met a lot of Royals. :) Phil Rudd was really chill though, we were both soo tired.
