my current view of the project bluebird au is that the feds raised five children: Jaiden,Foolish,ElQuackity,Quackity and Baghera, using differing child raising strategies.
Jaiden is given full praise and support. They build personal connections, voice their love completely so that Jaiden has no doubt that she is loved by them. She complies easily and gets the most information out of all of them.
Foolish is treated positively. He is praised and given attention, but there are no straight up confirmations of their affections (no we are friends, love you) and in general affection is withheld at seemingly unexplainable intervals. He is left with the thought that he always has to keep trying and then they will fully love him.
ElQuackity is raised mostly in isolation. He got barely any attention, mostly so that it‘d be easier to place q‘s memories into his head later. He is broken by this, no sense of identity.
Quackity got mostly experimented on (without actually explaining the experiments), but punishments were mostly threatened to get him to comply. He rarely actually got punished, but got terrified through the threatening. Otherwhise they were rather civil with him. He is not compliant with the Feds, but he can be scared into complying.
Baghera got straight up tortured and experimented on the most, without being given any context or information on why. It really wrecked her, which first identified as self hatred and confusion but later on became a fierce hatred against the Federation. She is the first to run away

(I'm half asleep while writing this so it will be updated later on for spelling and additions when I have time {2am 9/18)
Ok...wild shot in the dark...has anyone considered that Baghera and Jaiden may have been the two eggs that escaped the maze? I know there's a big chance that I'm talking bull but I'm watching Missa's vod (09/15) after watching Bagheras stream today (09/17) and the thought popped into my head. It may also be that them being eggs may be more metaphorical since some of the children test subjects in Bagheras book were half mammalian animals, in which the cracking may have been a bit more...graphic than if it's literal.
Plus, one of the parrot/human cases was classified + Bagheras book metioning the "kinder" of the two cucuruchos which is very much connected to Jaiden.
I don't know where I'm going with this but there is also the way that none of the entries say how the test subjects died of the ones that explicitly said that they are deceased and failure. And some seem weirdly ambiguous if they are actually even dead, just considered failures for some reason or another.

can I request some cellbit&jaiden duo interacting over the federation?
(Did I hear project bluebird? Because I think I did-- Hope you enjoy!)
The way Cellbit's leg bounces anxiously makes Jaiden uncomfortable. With each tap of his foot against the floor, her wings twitch.
This is not a pleasing experience for either of them. That much is clear.
The silence is too unusual, and perhaps too much for them. The usual ambiance for them was so lively, both of them so happy to be next to one another.
Now was, sadly, not that case.
Especially not when Cellbit's gaze seemed to be glued to that white streak in Jaiden's dark hair, standing out like a sore thumb.
"So, let's start again, from the begining, Jaiden." His voice says, throaty, tired, so done with the situation. "You were kidnapped."
"I was not." She says, so calmly and so to the point that it manages to send a shiver down Cellbit's spine. "I already told you, I went willingly."
Cellbit bites the inside of his cheek, the bouncing of his leg becoming more intense. "Of course."
She eyes his leg down, sighing. "I know you won't understand them, I know you don't want to understand them. But they are not evil."
"You can't be sure of that! Are you even listening to yourself, Jaiden?"
And Cellbit is furious, jaw tensing, brows knit together in a deep furrow – a side of him she's not used to seeing directed at her. The unexpected anger startles her, but she swiftly regains her composure. Because, if she doesn't tell him, then there's no one she can confide in about this. No one who will truly understand her.
"But I can be," She says, voice sligjtly cracking as she fights to keep calm. "I built them, after all."
"What?"
"You heard me."
Clutching his fists at his sides, Cellbit finds himself lost for words in response to Jaiden's remarks. His lips form a taut line, and his breaths grow heavier, causing his chest to rise and fall sharply.
She has to be joking, right?
"No, no, they are lying to you. That's not... That can't be. Why would you?"
"I... don't know either. But... They've always been kind to me- A-And, to Bobby, to Roier... To you too, in a way."
"Kind? They've never been kind to me. They- They've used me! They are using you too, Jaiden, please, understand!"
But she shakes her head. "You don't understand. I found... books, in my writing! I had drawings, blueprints, schemes... Cellbit, I know that it's hard to understand, but it's the truth."
And he doesn't respond anymore, so Jaiden, leaning forward and placing a hand on top of his head.
"And it's normal that you don't understand. You were... You were just a boy back then. A kid. They did so, so much wrong to you, and to me too. And they... We, we will try to atone for that. One way, or another."
His eyes lift, and for a second, his vision blurs. A flash of Jaiden- Not the Jaiden he had in front of her, someone else... was she wearing a jumpsuit? - appears in front of his eyes.
"Jaiden?"
"I know. You will figure this out. You always do, Cell."

Requests are still open, btw!
