J. Kym started the first set strongly, but slightly dipped in the second set as he was unable to maintain his range, while Jason started to absorb some pace. Somehow, J. Kym found his aggression again in the third set as Jason's intensity lowered, which helped him constructing his points from his forehand side as well. This way, J. Kym generated a whopping 15 break points, 7 more than Jason, converting 6 of them, mostly on the first and the third sets.

Besides, despite the second-set dip, J. Kym still maintained the consistency of his service games. Scoring 5 aces than Jason's 0, J. Kym had an exceptional first serve winning percentage at 67%, 10% more than Jason as the match progressed, which helped him get out of some troubles. However, even though both players double-faulted four times, Jason's second serve percentage appeared 12% lower (48%) than J. Kym (60%), mostly due to some shot rushes while following things up.

This marked J. Kym's maiden Challenger-level title won as if he never left while picking up where he left off post-injury. However, he could not celebrate too long as the next day, in the Bratislava 1 Challenger, the next chapter of his grind continued as he will face seventh seed Nino Serdarusic in its first qualifying round. On the other hand, Jason will continue his journey in the Perugia Challenger, where he will face Stefano Travaglia in the first round. A deserved comeback.

Outfit, hanacky kroj (traditional folk dress), womens, cotton / embroidery / lace / silk, embroidered in part and worn by Olga Kupkova (nee Skacelova), designed and made in the Hana region of Moravia, former Czechoslovakia (Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia), 1940

This women's hanacky kroj dating from 1940 is a well provenanced example of traditional dress from the Hana region of Moravia in Czechoslavakia. Worn and partly made by Olga Kupkova the dress includes twelve components, intricately constructed and embroidered by specialist seamstresses and needleworkers, reflecting the time, expense and variety of skills that go into creating hanacky kroj. The style and design reflect the importance placed on communicating and celebrating regional identity through dress. In addition its elaborate composition and embellishment are meant to remind the viewer that it originates from Hana, one of the most prosperous areas of Moravia, which was renowned for producing the richest and most complicated designs. The related Hanacky Kroj book explains the social significance of the hanacky kroj, the very specific conventions for manufacture and wear. This is reinforced through the inclusion of patterns for components of the outfit and embroidery, step by step instructions on how to make it and information on the fabric, threads, starches and the costs involved as well as the names and addresses of specialist makers including shoe makers, embroiderers, lace makers and seamstresses who can assist with making components of the outfit. The social and cultural importance of kroj is explained in the introduction by Dr Jan Kuhndel 'Kroj is an expensive, precious and sacred symbol of national and tribal tradition. It is a child of the Baroque era and its style, in which Czech soul found its festive days, cultural base and unqiue folk art. Every kroj is a mirror and a expression of its era, its region, and its people.' Furthermore, as records of Czechoslovakian immigration in New South Wales, the garments form part of an important historical narrative concerning the experience of refugee escape and settlement in Australia. The significance of the costume collection is further increased by its well provenanced history associated with the Skacelova/Kupkova/Slezacek family and the accompanying photographs of Olga Kupkova wearing the hanacky kroj and Olga Slezacek wearing the childs traditional dress. Jason tried to maintain his second-set level in the third set, but J. Kym appeared too solid as he tried to regain his aggression from the first set, especially since things went more physical as the match progressed. Somehow, J. Kym started by facing a break point due to his forehand error, where he got broken early by Jason similarly (1-0) only to be broken back to 1-1 due to the Taiwanese's forehand errors.

Subsequently, J. Kym held his serves to 2-1, and became more aggressive as he broke to 3-1 afterward thanks to his preceding forehand to Jason's lob error, consolidating his lead to 4-1 right after. The Swiss qualifier then turned out to be more dominant as his forehand down-the-line winner secured his initial break point, which was converted several moments later due to J. Kym's forehand error (5-1).

Consequently, J. Kym earned a chance to serve for the third-set breadstick, but it did not happen as a result of some erratic showings, where Jason tried to press J. Kym's preceding shots before passing his position at the net through a working backhand to break-back (5-2). However, J. Kym ended up having several match points, some of which were saved thanks to Jason's unreturned serves. Interestingly, one of the earlier match points included his forehand winner, and his recent match point was converted after a 29-shot rally ending with Jason's backhand error, thus the Swiss qualifier took the third set 6-2 to secure his maiden Challenger title.
