after long searching we finally found a fork fern! Tmesipteris elongata or T. tannensis. On a whekī trunk, it’s supposed to be common, maybe not so in the Wgtn region. This at Belmont Regional Park near the Oakleigh St entrance on Wednesday 〰 This is perhaps our most ancient lineage of plants that are loosely classed as ferns, so old they don’t have true leaves!
