My October toy haul finally arrived! Yay! I was finally able to get a grail for me, that I've been after for a long, long time. It is by a Chinese company, that made figures for their Chinese market only. They were unlicensed, but they weren't making copied products, only their own original sculpts based on licenses they didn't hold. They are no longer around, and this figure is from 2014, and quite huge for such a figure. I wish Nendoroids were as big (Sasuke Nendo released in 2017, so no, not a copy of that), or at least Q Poskets were this big. But then they would be $100USD, instead of $20-30. I wasn't able to get it back when it was released, so it took a whole lot of waiting, but finally, one of my friends saw one and asked right away if I still wanted it, even if it was opened! I wish it was still sealed, but oh well, I can't pass this opportunity, since I don't know if I'll ever come across this figure again in my lifetime. If I do, and it's sealed, I'll get it again! Lol!

I also got my first ever U-Noa doll! It's the one produced by Sekiguchi, but I can't say I don't love the idea that it's not resin. I wish it was a head sculpt with inset eyes, so that it would have that OG U-Noa Azurite feeling, but beggars can't be choosers. I also wish it was one of the more roker-themed ones, with clothes that are closer to t-shirt and jeans, or even better straight rock/punk-ish, but I will settle for this one. Since, this is the only one I'll probably ever be able to get -- I don't believe I have ever seen them on my regular Japanese retailers before, I don't feel I'll get to see another for pre-order as easily ever again. He is a beautiful doll, and I love him, but I wish his clothes or at least his hair was darker, in theme. I love all the Sasuke stuff; I hope to be able to get a second of the Figuarts Zero to unbox one. I already have a second Vibration Stars III waiting in Japan to be shipped. My Eren Suit PUP has a right eye that's bigger than the left... I don't know how to feel about that...But I do love the clear file. I should really stop hoarding those. DX

Also added three Nanana Surprise Minis Series 2, I was able to find locally! I got one from series one from Amzn, back when those released, but I never saw them locally. I fear I completely missed out on getting CJ Cuddles, and so I just got the three from this series I really wanted, before I can't find them in stores anymore. I am also eyeing the kitty one... we'll see, if I get her as well.

My April 2023 toy haul got here yesterday.  I’m so happy with my “larger” sized Bubble Head Nurse. I got the Figma version when they originally released that one, but she’s kind of tiny. I wish I would have gotten the Gecco 1:6 (2013) one too. Sadly, I didn’t know much about Gecco back then, and they were kind of pricey for the time (I would have traded a kidney for the Red Pyramid x Mannequin one, but I was hesitant with them as well, and now that statue really does go for more than a kidney! Lol!).

I once again got too many acrylic items. I wish I could stop, and I’m probably making good progress towards it (I’m seriously limiting my pre-orders of those items). However, this was so much money on just the acrylic AoT stuff, that it was painful when I had to pay for this order. S/h was also a painful experience, mostly due to the “mini” poster, which is not that big, but they packaged it as if it were a regular sized poster... but flattened (because it is plastic)! >___>;;; My wallet won’t soon be recovering! They one thousand percent could have shipped everything in a much, much smaller box. DX

Got myself a small toy haul recently. I got a PUP Sasuke from GSC USA when that went up for pre-order a while ago, and finally got delivered to me. I also got a second one from TOM, but only they know when they'll ship that -- or even get it in stock. IT might take another year...>_>;; I pre-ordered as soon as it went up there, probably earlier than on GSC USA shop, but TOM take forever to stock anything apparently, I thought it was just prize items.

Also got more Adrian/Cat-Noir toys, because I can't help myself. And, one of the "newer" Barbie Extra I've been eyeing for a while, I wanted to wait until she was on sale, since I don't really care about getting things as soon as they are out (other than Japanese toys that might sell out during pre-order, and then I won't get for a decent price).

PUP Sasuke looks nicer IRL, from these in-box photos he looks terrible, but I do understand why some people didn't like this version. As an obsessive Sasuke hoarder, I had to get it. However, I feel that most PUP figures are a huge hit-or-miss, and they seem to favor larger heads than accurate proportions to the characters. Which really irks me, but I still purchase the ones I "need." DX

I received some stuff from earlier in the year (some even from last year, maybe?), I had on hold in Japan, to save on shipping. I am a quite disappointed with the Eren PUP. I knew what he looked like, from the moment GS showed their promos of the figure, but I was hoping they would fix it somehow, before release but they didn’t. I still wanted to own one, because I know I’ll regret not owning one. However, I did change my mind about getting two, to display one out of box due to the horrible proportions (now I regret not getting two of his titan form). I don’t mind the facial sculpt as bad, it’s not beautiful, but the size of the head is what bothers me to no tomorrow. I can see they did an excellent job with Zeyan, and I don’t even play Otome games, but just by looking at game art based on him, he looks quite accurate. They did a good job with Eren’s titan form as well, so I don’t know why they gave human Eren those proportions; they make him look dwarf-y, despite him being pretty tall in the anime (and manga, from what I have read about it). I do appreciate that the plastic they are using now seems less waxy, once again. I notice it with Giyu, but these two also look less waxy and less yellowy. I didn’t mind the semi-translucency, but the yellowness did bother me a bit on the other PUPs I own, with the exception of Kaneki.

Overall, and despite Eren being as disappointing in person, just as he was in promos. I am pretty happy with all these. I could always attempt repainting his face, if that was all that wasn’t to my liking, but I can’t shrink his gigantic head, and that’s truly what bothers me the most. It’s kind of irritating with just about any character whose figures I collect, when companies get their specific proportions, or features wrong. More so, when they clearly do a good job with others. As I mentioned, I don’t play Otome games (no interest in mobile games in general), but I find Zeyan Li a gorgeous looking figure, so I pre-ordered him, but I have no intention to play the game whatsoever. I just like collecting toys I find beautiful. So, I’m particularly sad, Eren was given the short end of the stick with his human version PUP figure (we’ll probably won’t get another, at least not licensed that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg). DX

My January 2022 toy haul finally got here, with some stuff from 2021 that I was holding to ship together to save a bit of cash. I spent too much money last year, particularly in the last months, I don’t want to go that route again. I will try really hard to save some money this year, whenever or however I can. Even if it means receiving stuff years (months, really!) after its original release. T__T;;

Very happy with all these, particularly the Sephiroth plush, although I am trying hard, not to get into plushies anymore. It’s hard to resist Sephy (or Sasuke) ones. Although, I didn’t get the larger one released a few years ago (I couldn’t justify the price, plus shipping costs from Japan). I do regret not getting it, so I got the smaller ones to “make up” for the loss. Also, it seems Giyu is not the usual yellowy-waxy-looking plastic Good Smile usually uses for their PuP, which is really nice, if that is the case. I am a huge fan of these figures, because they are rather inexpensive, but really dislike the yellowy toned plastic, when the prototypes never appear to be made out of it. But maybe I’m just blind, and this one is the same plastic as all the others (except for Ken Kaneki, he was super pasty-yellow). DX
