More spammage of my Decora Fashion Girlz Luna doll repaint, with applied upper lashes. I wasn't able to find my 1.5mm stainless steel ball-bearings, so I am going to have to find those before I give her a million facial piercings. Otherwise, I am super happy with her. I wish I could find shorter lashes, but just as full as these. Sadly, I can only find synthetic human-meant eyelashes near me, so they tend to be as long as posible and never short. I prefer fuller lash-lines on my dolls, but not necessarily super long. Never super long, actually.

Regardless, she's all put together now. I am still giving her piercings, but I am super happy as she looks so far. I only wish I could find more gothy looking mass-produced fashion doll clothes for her, but I am pretty certain goth is not what all the little girls are screaming to get their hands on. So, I'll just have to leave her as she is or get off my lazy-old-fart behind and sew something new for her. Knowing well, I know I won't do the latter. Lol! DX

I love her regardless, I'm pretty happy with her, in case I haven't said so a million times already. (:

Edit to add: a shot of her face without factory paint. She has pretty heavy staining from all the purple and hot pink factory make up. So, I did a light color correcting layer or two. I didn't want to spend too much time on that, since I was just going to be covering it up with her bangs anyway. I also went with very light pigmented skin texture and shading, since I am not a fan of make up looks myself. Not even when I was a young girl, so now as an older than dust, old-fart, I can't say I like them more. I prefer my dolls to look like they are not wearing a thousand pounds of eyeshadow. That's what my aim was for her, while still leaning towards a vampire/punkish look.

I am done with my Decora Fashion Girlz Luna doll repaint. I haven't sealed the work yet, but I feel I am done. I went with all acrylics once again, and a 3-4 hours worth of work each day for the past three days. I am super happy with her; there are always issues due to my shaky-old-person hands, not as clean of a paint job as I would have liked. The last day was the worst, but I was super excited to finally finish her, so I painted her even with the extra jitters. I thought because her head is massive, it was going to be easier. Not thinking about how much of a pain it was going to be holding her head in one hand and trying to steady the other on top. Lol! Oh boy, was that a whole new learning curb! Doesn't help that I'm a scrawny, short old-fart, with tiny scrawny hands!

I was thinking of giving her more details in her irises, but I was too shaky, so I stopped myself. I might try later on, but for now, I feel she's done. I'm happy with how she looks even with all the flaws, she reminds me a bit of Secret Doll Persona head sculpts, the way she looks now. Which, I kind of really love, because I was never able to justify getting one of those dolls myself (I did regret it, for a while).

I will probably add upper applied lashes to her eyes after I seal the paint work, and perhaps a few piercings. I kind of like it with the idea that she's a vampire, might try sculpting actual fangs and teeth next time.

The second photo was taken at the end of the 1st day of painting, the 2nd one on the second day. I feel progress photos allow me to see what needs changing, or what I want to add, sometimes I like sharing those as well. Because I am a silly old-fart! (;

I made a sock sweater for my MYou Bettina Male (28cm tall), from a pair of socks I purchased with the intention of making a sock sweater for my Limhwa Limho Mano (67cm in height). I then lost the socks, and I wasn't able to find them for a long time (think years!), then I lost interest in sewing or doing anything for my BJD, mostly because most of them are huge. Then I hoarded toys like a crazy nut job and finally got back into customizing toys after getting back into 1:6 scaled action figures a few years ago. Which, then led me to wanting to get a smaller BJD, and I got my Bettina in 2022, when MYou released their 28cm mature tines.

Not too long ago, I stumbled across these socks I got to make a sweater for my Mano, all those years ago. I purchase them from K-Mart before that one closed in the tiny touristy town I live in. I am super happy I found them, finally. I am not sure if they would have made a decent sweater for my Mano, because he's huge compared to this tinier dude, but I am glad I made a sweater with them in the end. They kept getting snagged on everything because they are like stockings, more than socks. Which was a pain to sew, but I suck at sewing so, I guess there's that. I also made a new pair of pants for him, but they are too big! I re-sized the pattern twice (it's meant for a much larger doll), but it is still too big. I will try again, hopefully with black matte fabric next time. Although, these were a pain and still managed to not turn good at all! DX

The last four photos were taken with my other cellphone. IT does weird things and never focuses, but I feel the colors are closer to real life. I also made a sixth wig for him. I feel it could be better, but at least is less bulky than the previous ones, I feel like.

Got my UF-Doll x Autna Cat TV doll, and I'm super happy with him! I am almost certain all of them are supposed to be TV-headed girls, but I got "News Channel" or Xiaohei, as I've seen it supposedly being called in Chinse, which is supposed to be "little black one"? Because, I want mine to be a boy. I feel this one works well as either, and so does the white one, or xiaobai/emotional-channel. I love wearing black from head to toe, so I am biased and want all my dolls to also wear black from head to toe (as much as possible). I am kind of lucky, that most of the anime/Japanese-videogames I love, almost always wear only black or darker color clothing themes. DX

I'm super glad I was able to get him at last; I was worried they would all sell out before I had the chance to grab at least my fav, which is of course this one. I would have been happy with the white themed one as well, because I feel they also work well as a boy (but the black suspender-shorts are adorable, and I would have regretted not going for him). I don't have any room to display anything "large," so I won't be displaying him anytime soon, so I just took a bunch of photos of the doll and his accessories he comes with. I also don't own any stands I would trust him to stand in forever. I don't know that I trust strung dolls even on a stand, actually. I hate that they had to tape the freaking box, with a huge giant piece of sticky tape, and now my box is ruined. They had already ripped it at the top, which is another thing I loathe. I always cut the glue at the bottom flap, separating it neatly without damage to the boxes. Yes, I am a nut-job.

However, getting the one I wanted was a sacrifice far more than I had hoped, I guess. I got a damaged box, paid more than on other places because of freaking s/h and taxes and I'll just have to deal with an ugly piece of tape on my box. I was lucky when I got my other UF Doll, because I took a huge leap of faith getting a mystery boxed one, and got the brown one I wanted. I prefer it when I don't have favs, because then I can just get a mystery box and do the box opening myself, but I guess that's why I want to stop getting more of these... although, if I am still able to, I would still like to get the Emotional Channel one, if they don't completely sell out everywhere before I can justify the cost of these on Amnz once again. T__T;;;

My March 2025 Japanese toy haul got here a few days ago. I love the Eren's titan form Revoltech, but I am a bit sad that it doesn't come with a window display box as well. Like with Link's ToTK deluxe Figma version. That has a fancy sleeve and a window display box as well. That would have been my ideal choice for this version of Eren's Revo. I'm still super happy that I was able to purchase him. I wanted the Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) one as well, but I wasn't able to justify his price. Mostly, because I have zero figures based on him, and I don't know I want to start with such a huge expense for such a tiny figure. In my excuse, there's zero figures based on Ryu, outside of a handful of scaled statues that I can't justify either. I might still try to get one, if my budget allows. Which, might never come to be, with how things are going right now...T___T;;;

I also included photos of my Total Anime Eren's figure. I am not sure how to feel about those figures. The one I would have really loved owning is the Ken Kaneki one, because there are not that many figures based on him either. However, it seems like T4rget is making it hell, for some of us to be able to get him. Not even sure why they wanted it as an exclusive, just to make it a pain in the lower back for actual fans, and a day at the park for scalpers, I guess? DX

A million repetitive photos of my Repoprize Sasuke Uchiha figure. I got two, so I could unbox one. However, their boxes where equally flawed/bruised. So, I kind of am tempted to get a third one, to see if I can get a perfect box. Not because I am a hoarder, but because I am a MISB collector. DX

Putting that aside, he's super adorable and a lot bigger than I was expecting. I kind of never really pay attention to how big these prize items are, until I get them. I was expecting a much smaller box from BBTS, but I got a kind of larger than expected one. Then when I opened the box, I was more surprised to see how large the figure's boxes were. Then, I was hoping the figure was larger since there is a large image of the figure on the box. I was hoping the figure would be that size, but no, he's much smaller than the photo on the front. He pretty much could have been though, there's enough room in there for him to have fit perfectly well, being a larger figure as well.

I am super happy with him nonetheless, and the reason why I took so many photos of him. He's super cute!

I finally got around to unboxing my second Decora Girlz Luna, so I can repaint her soon. I am super excited to work on such a giant headed doll. Which is surprisingly something I would never think I would want! Lol! I prefer tinier dolls, with tinier heads (nothing under 25cm, for customization purposes!). However, I found Luna to be a super cool looking doll since I saw her for the first time last year (if memory serves). Now, I am just excited to paint a super gigantic head again. My biggest doll so far is my Limhwa LImho Mano (67cm tall), but his facial features are far more realistic, so his face is in general not as huge. They probably have the same size of head in height, but not the same proportions. This doll's face is just super wide, not just super tall. I feel this girl has the most massive head of any dolls I own so far proportionately. I also own one OG Harajuku doll I want to keep in box, one Blythe I also want to keep in box, but I don't feel their heads are quite the behemoths this one appears to be. Hard to compare, with in-box-dolls, but just from memory...

I took a few photos of her, to remind me of how nice she looked out of box. The eye on the right appears to be a bit lower than the left one, but other than that, she's pretty much perfectly well screened. No signs of pixelated paint anywhere, no smudges, no other factory flaws I can see. That's why I got two, so I wouldn't regret repainting one. She's really cool-looking to me, once again. So, I love her out of the box, but I am also a crazy-old-fart-traditional-artist. I want to repaint her really badly! Cool as she might be, factory default, I am always tempted to repaint toys/dolls I find super cool/beautiful/appealing. DX

I took a photo with my newly unboxed Sasuke Uchiha Reproprize figure as well. Just to show how big of a toy each are, to some RL friends. I wish Sasuke was quite a bit bigger, but he's surprisingly larger than I thought he would be. She's propped against my bottle of isopropyl alcohol I keep at my desk, because I want to keep her in her retail box once I am done customizing her. I feel it makes for a great display box. I didn't want to remove the stand and not be able to attach it again afterward. (:

My February 2025 toy haul is finally here! I am super happy with these! The ToTK Figma Link, I am super happy I went with the DX version, despite the expense, he's not the most expensive Link figure I own (BoTW RAH Link, probably will remain the most expensive one for me, ever!). However, I love him so much. He's so beautiful IRL, I wasn't able to get any decent shots of his default face, sadly. The Repoprize Sasuke I got from a legit USA retailer, for a lot more than I'll probably be able to find them directly from Japan. However, I don't know if I'll ever be able to find them from Japan, so I bit the bullet. I had to! Also, got my first UF Doll from Amzn, and I was so lucky to get the one I actually wanted, on my first and only pull! Yay! I'm never lucky with mystery toys, so I was over the moon! He's the one called "Brown Mandarin Duck," according to Googl3-translate. I am keeping mine as a boy, since that was my original plan if I did manage to get him. I love his face, he's so beautiful and his outfit is very well done. Not a fan of my boys having girly shoes though, so I'll have to figure out what to do with the default ones. I doubt I can find ones that fit, the feet and the style, but we'll see. Now I just want/need two or three more mystery dolls, and I'll probably stop for good (I hope to get the "boy" TV headed one as well, hopefully soon). (:

Got a few random things, from various stores, so I thought I would lump all of them in one post.

I finally got my last Suwarasetai Giyu Tomioka that I was looking to get (Hashira Meeting, vol 5 version). My bff gifted those two; I actually went to Wmrt with her some weeks earlier, and we saw an empty box of the mystery bags sold in USA stores. Then she saw these for sale online, as a set not that long ago, so she purchased them for me. <3

I got the Link figure from that time we went to Wlmrt, it was a huge surprise for both, as they are listed as sold out all the time. They had two, but the other didn't have the shield. I got one earlier version as soon as those released years back, but mine has a "mystery" element, which I believe is the same shield (I don't unbox my toys). So, I got this on to potentially unbox. Now, I am not too sure. I feel that the one without the shield had a nicer looking face... I am a weirdo! I also got the Barbie Mini Land figures from that trip.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Bitty Pop! and the Mini Verse capsule I got from Amnz. As well as the Lol surprise Hello Kitty collab dolls. Those are from way earlier, but I was lazy to take photos back then. The QA on those is disappointing to say the least, so I rarely collect, but I really wanted these Hello Kitty collab ones.

My January 2025 Toy haul is finally here! I got two Sasuke birthday giant tin badges for some reason. I don't really know why, probably because I am nuts... lol! Love all the other Sasuke birthday pieces, as well, I don't know why they were released so early in the year, when his b.day is on July. I also got a second Grandista, a second WCF vol.5 Sasuke and a second 9S Tiny Melties to unbox those. I am super happy with all, and super glad I was able to get Pyramid Head in a Nendoroid form, because who wouldn't want an adorable version of his. I am also happy I was able to afford Vincent, although his box arrived all smooshed on many sides, like I didn't deserve to get a pristine box, with how much he costs... T__T;;;;

My December 2024 toy haul got here a few days ago. It was expensive like the dickens to ship, but slow as all h3ll to get here. I loathe paying so much for s/h only for it to take forever! It makes me rethink about purchasing straight from Japan, but then it's not like getting these things from here will be any less expensive (probably a lot more than even including s/h from Japan!). DX

I am super happy with the new Sasuke Grandista, I am hoping I can get a second one to unbox. I own all of the OG Grandista, except the Dimensions child version. I am still hoping to get that one day... he's so freaking expensive considering I got this one for less than 15USD. I already own a box of the Ochatomo Konoha's Break Time Set re-release from 2018, I believe. I wanted to unbox a Sasuke and Itachi figure each. However, this box is different from the OG/Re-release versions (the box's design). Now, I am not sure I want to unbox them... I know, nuts hoarder collector ways of thinking...

I finally got myself the one Penny'x Box x Dollzone's Adou-Loong Fantasia doll I wanted, from their official dealer on Amzn, only to be extremely disappointed. They let me choose which doll I wanted, and I went with them despite the ones on other place being so much less expensive, but I am a weirdo. I don't like purchasing dolls from certain ecommerce places. I did purchase a few other mystery toys from that dealer in the past, and everything went okay. I hoped I had waited long enough for the broken horns not to be an issue anymore, with this series. Sadly, my beautiful boy arrived with a broken horn! My heart sank to the bottom of h3ll when I unpacked him. The packaging just doesn't have enough space between the horn and the plastic, for it to move around and not brake. Even with all that extra packaging protection.

I also got a single Monster High Potion figure, and I got Catty Noir. I was hoping for Draculaura or Twyla, from this series. I actually purchased this because it was on sale, but Amzn had it listed not as series two, but deceitfully as one -- the photos of series one. However, when I got this instead, I was close to being disappointed again. Until I saw there is a cute Draculara in this, and Twyla. Catty Noir is also a lovely figure. I am happy I got her, but definitely wish these weren't mystery toys. Or had codes, or didn't come with such gimmicky package, that's just going to end up in a landfill. I know I'll be keeping my potion bottles, but that's probably not what the main target audience (little girls, or their parents) will do. T__T;;

I am super happy with my Adou-dragon dude, only wish he hadn't come broken. I knew I would l love him, because I love original Adou as well. And I kind of always regretted not getting more, of the street-style ones, but I feel they are not available anywhere anymore...?

Regardless, I am hoping to take "better" photos of him, he's so beautiful. I love him so much, even if his poor horn got damaged! (:

My November 2024 Japan toy haul finally got here! I am super happy with all these, particularly Riku! He turned out so beautiful! I feel like even nicer than the Static Arts one by Square Enix, from 2017, if I am not mistaken. I only own one of those sadly, and he's somewhere deep in my closet, so I can't compare. However, I feel this UDF looks so much nicer in person, and he's quite smaller (if I am not mistaken). I hope they make one based on KHIII as well. I got one Riku and one Sora from the KHI release back then, since those aren't my favorite designs, but I like KHII designs so much, I had to get two of Riku.

Most of these are tiny prize figures, or just plain tiny figures in general (s/h from Japan was still brutal!!!). I wish I took myself seriously, about cutting off on hoarding acrylic stands. It's so hard!! More so if they are Sebby! DX

I got a few Western fashion dolls, that arrived a few days ago. I was hoping my November Japan toy haul would get here before, but no. I'm really happy with these, nonetheless. I got a second Luna, to customize and the tiny version as well. That comes sealed in a pack of three... I don't know if I'll be unboxing and rebodying that one anymore, although I am still tempted. I am a weirdo! DX

I love Malibu, I am so glad I decided to get her as well. Now I definitely want to get the other two girls in the first release, maybe the others as well... n__n;;

I tried fixing his wig once again. I feel like it still needs to be a touch darker, and have a heavier gradient effect, from the roots. However, I am so happy with how he's looking so far. I am very much in-love with this figure now! I only wish I could sew decently, so I could hope to recreate te jacket he's wearing here. It's his OG-RE4 jacket that I got with a set, with everything he's wearing here. However, the material the jacket is made out of, is peeling everywhere! It's already literally tearing at the seams. I know it's not going to survive for much longer, so I try to avoid making him wear it.

I did make an accurate top for another Leon I was working on many years ago, it was terrible, but I feel it might not look too bad with the jacket on. Sadly, this one is already disintegrating on me. DX

I will try to remake the top, as I have zero clue where I left the other one. I believe I still have the pattern I made for that one, so I might get away with just sewing a new piece, instead of trying to do another patter. Which I suck at as well, so... (:

This are super repetitive, but I don't have hands that look good, and for some reason my cell's camera exaggerates the size of the hands he's wearing, making him look so disproportionate and weird. I need to repair his right iris, as I damaged that already more than once. I also need to thin the bangs on the right side a bit further. I suck at cutting and styling hair, let alone 1:6 tiny hair. Although this hair is pretty awesome, soft and extra thin (strand wise), I wish I knew what type it was. I was gifted it, by my bff and she doesn't recall where it came from, sadly.

Since I saw these Decora Girlz fashion dolls, I knew I would have to get at least one; Luna, because it's rare to see (mass-produced, humanoid) white dolls with dark hair (in a Goth or Punkish fashion style to boot!). So, I waited patiently for her to show up anywhere near me. I almost lost all hope at one point, that I would be able to ger her at all. Luckily, I got her and for a super crazy price as well. I'm super happy with how she looks in real life. I was kind of wishing to see her in person in stores, to get a second one but had to get her from Amzn. Which I don't regret, because she was such a great deal and arrived in excellent condition despite the shipping box getting crushed in transit. I do regret that I had to wait to see her in person, to know I definitely want a second one to customize.

I don't unbox my mass-produced fashion dolls, unless I want to customize one in some way. It's rare for me to just want to display fashion dolls unboxed, so I only get one to keep in box; two if I want to customize one (because I am a weirdo). However, Luna is so freaking cool! I rarely like dolls with gaping opened mouths either. She's just that cool to me. I wish there were more "pale" white dolls, with dark black hair being mass-produced (particularly with smaller heads!). She just hits that spot for me, of a humanoid (not a monster) doll, with an edgier fashion sense! Although I don't necessarily love decora fashion myself, this doll with super dark hair and paler plastic is just it for me. I might get a few of the others as well, if I can get them for a decent price as well (for my wallet), but Luna I just had to get. I'm not into decora fashion, but she's leaning into the dark-punk look enough for me, I just love her! (:

I'm hoping on getting the tiny version as well, as soon as I don't have a million other things to pay for, including pre-orders from Japan... and the list of x-mas gifts I had to pay for just a while ago. It all left my wallet weeping! T___T;;;

I got this from Amzn, well over two months ago, and it unfortunately took way too long to get to me. The good thing is, that I finally got one of the two boys, from the Hani Sweet Dream Land series, so now I only need the kitty! I got the Shiba Inu, Pudding, who has the tiniest ittyest "painted" fang ever, and I only wish his bag was the cute Shiba he is holding in his COA card (instead of the b*tt). Otherwise, I don't regret getting him. However, I'll probably have to go another route to get the kitty one, because this was so freaking stressful! I might try for the boys in the Sweet Afternoon Tea as well, but I don't know. I am always debating whether I should be splurging on these mystery-boxed BJD, when s/h from Japan is still so much, and my monthly Japan-toy-hauls drain my wallet as is. T__T;;

I am super happy I finally got him, regardless, and I for sure, will be getting Douding Meow (I don't know about kitty's name, but whatever, I like Pudding, so Shiba's keeping that one!).
