Although I can pretty much with 100% certainty say most of the hate towards creators is from Twitter. Although the event is glitchy sometimes and could use improvement, It's meant to be stressful and hard...

It isn't called Purgatory for no reason lol so let's be nice so we all can enjoy the chaos!

i'm still stuck on the purgatories so here's a list of purgatory 2 moments simply off the top of my head that deserve to be remembered:

aimsey ducking all of axolotl team alone in a cave with literally half a heart

goose gang fucking descending on the raccoon base and absolutely wrecking shop

ethan crankgameplays clutching up for team panda during the capture the flag game by being the only one hanging out in the center and periodically checking the chests, earning them a shitton of flags and clutching multiple rounds

crow team's egg taking 0 damage

pac doxxing goose gang's egg in the last second

shelby shubble as the last member of her team online writing a letter to aimsey and sharing the world's most devastating ten minutes before her team was eliminated with one of the eye creatures (coco? i forgot lol)

badboyhalo absolutely fucking DEMOLISHING the battleship event on like 2 hours of sleep and a dream

wuant(?) stealing a tv from the battleship event and then playing portuguese ice age on it for the crows lmfao

tubbo djing for his team while waiting for the time for a goose gambit

theguill CRASHING THROUGH THE FUCKING CEILING of the raccoon team's hidey hole like the fucking kool aid man in a last effort to save his team and 4v1 or 5v1 ing team raccoon; he lost but that was such an epic fucking moment

theguill and etoiles pvping and each hyping the other's skills the entire time

seapeekay escaping cellbit and baghera and then stealing their boats and rocketing past to tease them about it; that shit was iconic

kenny going mad with power collecting sand on literally day 1

the english speaking squirrels taking actual physical notes on portuguese phrases (i think)

I have so many thoughts about team bolas guys I love them so much, I honestly don't think I could watch any other team's POV right now

Like Philza getting on a bit earlier to gather resources and saying he wasn't going to engage with the other teams at all while he was alone, even in chat, and trying to not draw any attention to himself

Once more of them got online, they all started helping each other out with their individual tasks to make sure they all got done They're always hyping each other up and motivating each other

They focused more on just building, gathering resources, and relocating their base throughout the day. Waiting until the last ten minutes to turn in all of the global tasks for the day so that the cooldown prevents the other teams from being able to reclaim them is honestly so smart, they're focusing on strategy over combat since pvp isn't their strong suit and the other teams have much better gear than them (Phil clutching a 1v2 with Bad and Pierre when they showed up at red team's spawn was sick as hell though)

They even had the chance to third-party a fight between the green/blue teams and chose not to because it was unnecessary and they wanted to prioritize the safety of their team members over getting kills

Red team has the best communication and coordination out of all the teams They even admitted that if the other teams actually coordinated their time and strategies well that they could crush them

People are making jokes about how they won through the power of friendship but that is genuinely it. They've made such a comeback since day 1 because they don't start the day sweating and trying to win by any means possible, they go into this with just trying to have as much fun as they can in this brutal purgatory, and if they have a chance to win along the way then so be it, and if not then they know they at least have each other to fall back on no matter what. --- And also I just want to remind everyone that this is all just a silly block game! This is all just for fun and entertainment! They're all still friends at the end of the day, and if any of them genuinely had a problem with the other teams then that would be THEIR responsibility to discuss and resolve among themselves, not any of ours. So don't be sending hate to CCs or anyone else over this event :]

blue team has the most stakes/most split eggs, ramon has the smallest percentage, richas is most likely the most safe when it comes to getting picked

Sometimes, self care is waiting till after the event to watch Team Bolos pov because although they’re really funny, watching them in the competition makes you really angry right now.

And that’s okay.

still think tfw should’ve been the ones to raise baby amara and they should’ve had the bond between dean and amara be familial instead of the weird pseudo romance attachment thing they did. like she should’ve been jack 1.0 their rapidly aging child. and it would’ve 1.) reinforced the whole found family “family don’t end in blood” themes and 2.) would’ve made it more compelling when she has to choose between chuck (her family by blood) and tfw (her found family). also then when jack comes along they can bond over being supernatural rapidly aging kids and amara is like. “i’m ur aunt you have to call me aunt!” but they’re like the same age
