Fate was cruel sometimes. All it took was one driver going down the wrong side of the road to change everything...

Makoto was heading home on her motorcycle after a long day, when she saw some headlights heading towards her. There was foreign driver who was barrelling down the road on the wrong side and once it clicked what was happening, she had to swerve out of the way the best she could. however, before she got all the way out of the way, the car clipped her back tire and she ended up getting launched into the air.

She hit the ground and rolled a bit before hitting a sign. Her motorcycle was totaled after being hit by another car and there was debris everywhere. She drifted in and out of consciousness as police and an ambulance were quick to arrive on the scene thanks to someone in the area. The foreigner drove off but was eventually stopped because the car acted up.

Needless to say they were arrested and were getting charged for reckless driving soon.

She received some pretty nasty cuts and scrapes along her body, and her right arm required a cast because of a bone being fractured. She thankfully didn't get any head damage, significant anyways because of her helmet and strict adherence to driving safely. Didn't really help when she was thrown from her motorcycle going at a decent rate of speed anyways.

When she woke up, she blinked a few times, examining things around her. She saw some balloons and other things, and when she pushed herself up, she saw Ren sitting by the bed, exhaustion clearly there as he was probably waiting for her to wake up for a while now. "Ren...? What happened?" Were the first things that she said before realizing, remembering.

"That's right...the car that was going down the wrong side of the road...I don't remember much after that...are you alright? You look exhausted." Of course she was more concerned about Ren than she was about herself. Typical Makoto.
