Novak Djokovic vs Yoshihito Nishioka French Open 2022 live stream, tv channel, uk start time, h2h
After a frustrating year on and off the pitch, few would have expected Djokovic to arrive in Paris as a favourite, especially after Rafael Nadal’s success in Melbourne earlier in the season. But the world number one was in fine form and looked incredibly impressive a week ago as he stormed to the Italian Open title without dropping a set. A potential quarter-final clash against Nadal looms in the…

NEW YORK | johnson,koepka open strong,doug ferguson,tiger woods,kevin tway,jamie lovemark,vaughn taylor,early lead thursday,northern trust,dustin johnson,brooks koepka,playoff events,postseason,field trimmed,felt comfortable taking,
NEW YORK— Serena and Venus Williams could be headed toward their earliest Grand Slam meeting in 20 years, facing a potential third-round matchup at the U.S. Open.
If the sisters do play each other, the winner might face No. 1-ranked Simona Halep in the fourth round.
That is certainly the most intriguing section of the women’s and men’s brackets revealed at Thursday’s draw for the last major of the year.
This marks Serena’s return to Flushing Meadows after missing the hard-court tournament in 2017 — she gave birth to her daughter last Sept. 1.
The 36-year-old American has won six of her 23 Grand Slam titles at the U.S. Open and was given the No. 17 seed by the U.S. Tennis Association — nine places above her current ranking.
Venus, who won five of her seven Grand Slam singles trophies in New York, is ranked and seeded 16th. She faces a tricky first-round match against Svetlana Kuznetsova, whose two major championships include the 2004 U.S. Open.
Kuznetsova was given a wild-card entry for the tournament, where main-draw play begins Monday.
Serena’s opener comes against 60th-ranked Magda Linette of Poland. Should the Williams siblings both make it to the third round, they would play each other at a Grand Slam tournament sooner than they have since Venus beat Serena in the second round at the 1998 Australian Open — their very first head-to-head match on tour.
They’ve gone on to play a total of 29 times — Serena leads 17-12 — and that includes nine all-in-the-family Grand Slam finals, most recently at the 2017 Australian Open.
In the men’s field, No. 1-ranked and defending champion Rafael Nadal opens against David Ferrer in an all-Spanish rematch of their 2013 French Open final. No. 2 Roger Federer plays Japan’s Yoshihito Nishioka in the first round.
Federer faces a potential quarterfinal against No. 6 seed Novak Djokovic, the Wimbledon champion who beat him two weeks ago in a tuneup and is considered the tournament favorite. No. 4 seed Alexander Zverev and seventh-seeded Marin Cilic, the 2014 U.S.
Open champion, are also in Federer’s half of the draw along with No. 30 seed Nick Kyrgios, the Australian whom Federer could meet in the third round.
Stan Wawrinka, the 2016 U.S. Open champion who missed last year’s tournament because of injury and was given a wild card into this year’s field, faces No. 8 seed Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria in one of the headline matches of the first round. Wawrinka, a three-time major titlist, eliminated Dimitrov in the first round at Wimbledon in June.
Nadal’s half of the draw includes No. 3 seed and 2009 U.S. Open champion Juan Martin del Potro — who could face another former U.S. Open champion in Andy Murray in the third round — and fifth-seeded Kevin Anderson, the Wimbledon and U.S. Open runner-up. Besides Federer-Djokovic, the other possible men’s quarterfinals are Nadal-Anderson, Del Potro-Dimitrov and Zverev-Cilic.
Women’s No. 2 seed Caroline Wozniacki faces 2011 U.S. Open champion Sam Stosur in the first round. Sloane Stephens, the defending champion, is the No. 3 seed and could face former No. 1 Victoria Azarenka in the third round.
Potential women’s quarterfinals include Halep vs. No. 8 Karolina Pliskova, Wozniacki vs. No. 5 Petra Kvitova, Stephens vs. No. 7 Elina Svitolina, and No. 4 Angelique Kerber vs. No. 6 Carolina Garcia.

Acapulco.
Novak Djokovic vs Nick Kyrgios
Dominic Thiem vs Sam Querrey
Steve Johnson vs Marin Cilic
Yoshihito Nishioka vs Rafael Nadal

Australian Open 2018: Bracket, schedule, and results for men's draw
Tumblr media
Federer has 20 Grand Slam singles titles after winning the 2018 Australian Open.
At 36 years old, Roger Federer still has plenty left in the tank. He needed five sets, but he bested Marin Cilic in the finals of the 2018 Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year. In doing so, Federer scooped up his 20th ever Grand Slam singles title, cementing himself as the absolute best to ever play the game.
Cilic fought hard, and also owned wins over Pablo Carreno Busta and top seed Rafael Nadal. Most expected a Federer vs. Nadal final, just as it was in 2017, but Nadal retired in the fifth set against Cilic, the sixth seed.
Federer’s run to the finals was excellent, as he wasn’t pushed behind three sets until the final against Cilic. He looked fresh, and it’s safe to say he’ll be ready for the grass court season later this year, as he begins his quest for No. 21.
Here’s a look at Federer’s run through the Australian Open:
Federer def. Aljaz Bedene, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 Federer def. Jan Lennard Struff, 6-4, 6-4, 7-6(4) Federer def. No. 29 Richard Gasquet, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 Federer def. Below is a full bracket, schedule, and results, which were updated daily throughout the tournament.

Viewing information
The schedule for the Australian Open is nearly identical to how it has been in recent years. For those in the United States, it can be a tricky major to follow with matches beginning late in the evening and running until the morning of the following day. Unless stated otherwise, times ascribed to dates in the evening which end in the morning are ending the following day.
Through the first three rounds, play will begin around 7 p.m. ET on one day and will end around 7 a.m. the following day. “Monday” at the Australian Open is Monday proper for those in Melbourne, but begins on Sunday evening for those in the United States, with play wrapping up on Monday morning.
ESPN will handle television coverage of the tournament between its flagship network and ESPN2, and live streams of all men’s and women’s singles matches will be available live via WatchESPN. Play on most days will begin around 7 p.m. on the Tennis Channel before shifting to ESPN 2. Below is the full schedule for the tournament.

Australian Open 2019: Men's bracket, schedule, scores, and results
Can Roger Federer defend his title at the Australian Open? We have all the info you need to follow the tournament, including viewing and streaming info as well as results.
The Big Four aren’t quite done, but men’s tennis may be seeing a shift in the coming years. For now, going into the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open, some of the usual suspects are favored to win it, but the field continues to get interesting as Roger Federer gets older and guys like Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray are derailed by injuries.
Murray’s injuries are particularly worrisome, as the player himself has suggested that this tournament could be his last, regardless of how badly he wants to make it to Wimbledon this year.
Nadal is playing as well, and says he’s at 100 percent, but he dropped out of a tournament just a few weeks ago. That means Federer, at 37 years old and a six-time winner in Australia, is considered the favorite.
He’s also the two-time defending champion after winning the tournament in 2017 and 2018. Novak Djokovic would be considered Federer’s top competition at this point, but the field contains a slew of young players who are hoping to make that next step, whether that be cracking into the top 20 and doing damage past the third round or guys inside the top 10 still searching for their first Grand Slam title.
Djokovic is coming off winning the last two Grand Slams, lifting the trophy at Wimbledon and the US Open in 2018. Alexander Zverev, the world No. 4, is still searching for his first real opportunity at doing damage in a slam, as success in the big four tournaments has eluded him. He did, however, earn the top prize at the ATP Finals in November.
Karen Khachanov and Daniil Medvedev are two of the young guns to watch, as both are making their way up the rankings and giving the top guys some trouble. Kevin Anders, Marin Cilic, Kei Nishikori, Grigor Dimitrov and many other familiar faces will also be in action in Australia.
Below is a full bracket, schedule, and results, which will be updated throughout the tournament.
Viewing information
Not much has changed in watching the Australian Open for those in the United States, though there is the one downside of some matches and courts that used to be free on WatchESPN are now locked behind the ESPN+ paywall. A seven-day free trial of ESPN+ can be found here. Television coverage will primarily be handled by ESPN and ESPN2, while there will be many free matches and courts streaming on WatchESPN and ESPN3.
Did you manage to follow all of that?

Australian Open 2017: Bracket, schedule, and scores for men's draw
Can Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal fare better in 2017 than they did in 2016?
The men’s bracket at the 2017 Australian Open continues to be very intriguing and rather chaotic. Top seed Andy Murray was ousted by an unranked player in the Round of 16, an second seed Novak Djokovic exited well before that.
Djokovic was trying to put a rough 2016 season behind him. He started that year out looking unbeatable, and looking like he’d left the rest of the so-called “Big Four” — himself, Murray, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer — behind. But that’s apparently not the case.
Nadal and Federer, as of the Round of 16, are still going strong and in the tournament, while third seed Milos Raonic is now the top-seeded man.
Below is a full bracket, schedule and results, updated daily throughout the tournament.

The schedule for the Australian Open is nearly identical to how it has been in recent years. For those in the United States, it can be a tricky major to follow, with matches beginning late in the evening and running until the morning of the following day. Unless stated otherwise, times ascribed to dates in the evening which end in the morning are ending the following day.
Through the first three rounds, play will begin around 9 p.m. ET on one day and will end around 7 a.m. the following day. “Monday” at the Australian Open is Monday proper for those in Melbourne, but begins on Sunday evening for those in the United States, with play wrapping up on Monday morning.
ESPN will handle television coverage of the tournament between its flagship network and ESPN 2, and live streams of all men’s and women’s singles matches will be available live via WatchESPN. Below is the full schedule for the tournament.
