YES, you must read Robin Hobb’s Realm of the Elderlings books in order of publication. You lose a lot of amazing storytelling if you don’t do this.

Also, I would recommend blocking spoiler tags on tumblr and staying away from the wiki sites until you’re at least at the end of Fool’s Fate. Really and truly, you don’t want to get spoiled on these books, because you’re cheating yourself out of something special.
