Bubblimp from Hey! Pikmin!
Pilaruber ephemerens, the sweetest most fragile creature in the entirety of pikmin! They drop from ceilings like droplets of water, then waddle as eagerly as their stubby little feet allows them to! If you or any Pikmin graze them they'll turn into a puddle! I try my best to tread lightly around them...

Hey! Pikmin enemies add-on because i'm normal (lie):
Grub-dogs, Breadbugs, and Aerodentia's Weird Club:
Crumbbug (a Breadbug)
Eye-Stalker Bulbeel (a Grub-dog)
Fiery Dwarf Bulblax (a Breadbug)
Fireflap Bulborb (a Breadbug, explicitly related to the Fiery Dwarf Bulblax)
Long Water Dumple (a Grub-dog)
insect:
Adult Centipare and its small counterpart, the Centipare.
Blubbug
Coppeller (Same family as Snitchbugs)
Electric Spectralid
Electripede (Same family as Anode Beetles)
Firesnout Beetle (this is a canon beetle larva, down to being a Lithopod!)
Flatterchuck (Same family as Skutterchucks)
Grabbit
Muggonfly (Same family as Snitchbugs)
Puffy Blubbug
Queen Shearwig (I hate this thing.)
Shearblug (a Mandiblard)
Sparrowhead (Same family as Scornets)
Speargrubs (a Mandiblard)
Spiny Coppeller (Same family as Snitchbugs)
Sporegrub (a Mandiblard)
Spornet (not to be confused with Scornets)
Stony Flint Beetle
Widemouthed Anode Beetle
arachnid:
Shooting Spiners
amphibian:
Fiery Young Yellow Wollyhop (I don't know either)
Young Yellow Wollyhop
mammal:
bird:
Crested Mockiwi
Elongated Crushblat (don't know why it's called that, this is a mockiwi.)
Mockiwi
mollusc:
Starnacle. explicitly described as a mollusc!

Seedbagger. while not canonically related, it reminds me of the Honeywisp in both appearance and behaviour, which makes me more comfortable putting it here than i probably should be, especially since i only counted the Honeywisp as a mollusk thanks to it strongly resembling a sea angel. whatever. I'm counting it.

crustacean:
Crammed Wraith (do not be fooled by the weird english name.)
cnidarian:
Clicking Slurker and its grown counterpart, the Luring Slurker (same family as Medusal Slurkers)
Flying Spotted Jellyfloat
Leech Hydroe. While its scientific name, Hydridae phytohabitans, comes from a genus of bacteria, this little guy is most definitely a hydra, as the common name may imply!

echinoderm:
Large Splurchin (i didn't know urchins were echinoderms until now! huh!)
fish: N/A
ambulofungus:
Puffstalk (Same family as Puffstool)
ambuloradicis: N/A? (see below)
what?:
Armurk. part of the Creep-crab family, like the Segmented Crawbster, which suggests it's a crustacean, pikipedia likens it to a horseshoe crab, and its generator name is "boss_spiked_isopod"... but this is a mollusk. you guys are lying to me. its legs are even described as "jellylike" in-universe. this is only a "what?" because of the discrepancy.

Crystalline Crushblat. no notes about it being a mollusk, no whiskers, but still a crushblat and is thus still weird.

Fireflinger Groink. I don't know what's up with Groinks.
Red Bubblimp. weird little goopy thing that apparently only shows up as newborns in-game. wonder where the adults are. unfortunately, this little baby thing doesn't offer much insight as to what its parents might look like.
Stuffed Bellbloom. I'm not sure what's happening here, but the scientific name Legumos trypophobis suggests to me it might be an ambuloradicis? maybe? I'm grasping at straws here.
i don't think that's an animal: N/A. nothing seemingly supernatural here, wahoo!
anyways here's the full "tierlist" before i lose my mind even more
there's probably some incorrect classifications in here based on flavour text (i really don't want to double-check the ten billion dweevils and arachnorbs right now) but at this point i just want this out of my hands. also i might end up tacking some Hey! Pikmin enemies onto this later if i feel like it
EDIT: some rambling about the reasoning/specifics of this tierlist (such as why i haven't categorized the blowhogs of the real life genus Sus as mammals here) can be found here
