What is Startup India?
Launched in 2016, Startup India is a flagship initiative by the Indian government aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. It provides various perks, including tax exemptions, easier compliance norms, and opportunities to apply for funding from both private and public sectors. The platform is personalized to help new businesses and startups scale effectively in the competitive market.
Benefits of Startup India Registration
Before diving into the Startup India Registration Process, let’s take a look at the amazing benefits that come with Registering a Startup in India through the platform:
Tax Exemptions: Startups can benefit from tax exemptions for up to three years, helping you save on your operational costs.
Simplified Compliance: Startup India simplifies the process of compliance and legal paperwork, giving you more time to focus on your business.
Easier Access to Funding: The government-backed platform makes it easier for you to raise funds, whether from angel investors, venture capitalists, or other financial bodies.
Intellectual Property Benefits: The platform facilitates quicker processing of intellectual property rights and patents.
Networking and Mentorship: Connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors to help grow your business.
Step-by-Step Guide to Register on Startup India
Step 1: Ensure Your Eligibility
Before registering your business on Startup India, you need to ensure that your business meets the eligibility criteria. To be eligible, your business must:
Be registered in India.
Be a private limited company, limited liability partnership (LLP), or a partnership firm.
Have been operational for less than 10 years.
Have an annual turnover of less than ₹100 crore.
Be working towards innovation, development, or improvement of a product or process.
Step 2: Gather Necessary Documents
The following documents are required to complete the registration:
Incorporation/Registration Certificate of your business.
PAN Card of the company or business.
Details of the founders (name, email, and phone number).
Certificate of recognition from a startup incubator or any government body (if applicable).
Bank Account Details of the company or business.
Income Tax Returns for the last financial year (if applicable).
Step 3: Visit the Startup India Website
Go to the official Startup India website: www.startupindia.gov.in to begin your registration process. On the homepage, click on the "Register" button.
Step 4: Fill in the Registration Form
Once you click on the "Register" button, you'll be asked to provide information about your business. This will include details such as:
Name of the business.
Type of business entity (Private Limited Company, LLP, etc.).
Date of incorporation.
Sector of the business (technology, healthcare, education, etc.)
Contact information.
You’ll also need to enter the MSME/SSI/DSIR certificate (if you have one), as it’s mandatory for getting some government incentives.
Step 5: Self-Certification Declaration
The next step is to submit a self-certification declaration. This is where you declare that your business meets the criteria set by the government for registration under Startup India. This includes details about your business, its activities, and its turnover.
Step 6: Submit and Complete the Registration
Once you have filled in all the necessary details and uploaded the required documents, submit the form. You will receive a Startup India Certificate once your registration is complete. This certificate will serve as proof of your registration and will enable you to avail yourself of the benefits offered by the program.

Toga + Dabi = Peace?
So curiosity got the better of me and I decided to dive in for a lurk in that one redraw thread. Huh, an anon forum being harsh? What else did you expect? XD
I lowkey like the drawing that stirred one of the discussions there, it has a kitch quality with the textures and everything (the kinda thing I like to do myself, haha) and the highly saturated colors. Even the sketchiness has some charm, I wonder if the artist is still doing their thing out there.
I redrew the og, and I included the color palettes of the proposed redraws. That, even though these alterations exist due to the og being deemed "ugly" (owch). Well, such is life.

Like most of the voting places in town are surrounded by signs and most of them are trump signs but there's a kamala or two scattered around but the first one I passed was just trump signs. Which figures because next door they always have this pop up trump shop where they sell trump merch including flags branded with trumps face which I'm pretty sure is against the flag code but that doesn't apply to them of course. I wish I was joking. That's where the people sell their fruit on the corner and the kids do fundraising car washes get that shit out of here.
I don't know. I just don't feel like any candidates signs should be littered outside the polling place no matter the party. Vote here signs should be sufficient. Also your poll workers shouldn't be allowed to wear shirts with their candidate even if they're outside the electioneering bounds.

ok so here's a purely practical, guilt-free, lecture-free pitch about voting.
let's say the skeptics are right and it probably doesn't matter. and let's assume, crucially, that you're in a position where you don't have onerous obstacles to voting. let's say you're thinking of just not bothering because you feel hopeless or apathetic or angry about who's running.
voting takes like, an hour or two of your time, if that. it's free. you get a sticker. if you don't feel informed enough or don't have an opinion on a particular candidate or measure, you actually don't have to vote on it! just leave it blank.
if voting really doesn't matter, you basically just ran a tedious errand, like renewing your driver's license or updating your address on your bank account. but if it does matter even a little, it's way more satisfying than paying a bill.
take a scrolling pause to see if you're registered, and if not, take like 3 minutes to do it.
