Toga + Dabi = Peace?
So curiosity got the better of me and I decided to dive in for a lurk in that one redraw thread. Huh, an anon forum being harsh? What else did you expect? XD
I lowkey like the drawing that stirred one of the discussions there, it has a kitch quality with the textures and everything (the kinda thing I like to do myself, haha) and the highly saturated colors. Even the sketchiness has some charm, I wonder if the artist is still doing their thing out there.
I redrew the og, and I included the color palettes of the proposed redraws. That, even though these alterations exist due to the og being deemed "ugly" (owch). Well, such is life.
Source drawing + Attachments :

PS : oh shit, I just realised I forgot their eyebrows, wtf XD welp, not editing these in, I have other matters to attend to-- I think I got the idea accross either way, so it should be fine
#kiwi farms adventures#redraw#digital drawing#digital art#bnha dabi#bnha toga#boku no hero academia#kiwi farms#i'm too much of a chicken to make an acc on KF - the registration process sends me to paranoia central lmao

Like most of the voting places in town are surrounded by signs and most of them are trump signs but there's a kamala or two scattered around but the first one I passed was just trump signs. Which figures because next door they always have this pop up trump shop where they sell trump merch including flags branded with trumps face which I'm pretty sure is against the flag code but that doesn't apply to them of course. I wish I was joking. That's where the people sell their fruit on the corner and the kids do fundraising car washes get that shit out of here.
I don't know. I just don't feel like any candidates signs should be littered outside the polling place no matter the party. Vote here signs should be sufficient. Also your poll workers shouldn't be allowed to wear shirts with their candidate even if they're outside the electioneering bounds.
#anyway i voted....technically. i genuinely thiught i registered but apparently not???#but i wrnt through the process of same day registration and got a provisional ballot and an i voted sticker

ok so here's a purely practical, guilt-free, lecture-free pitch about voting.
let's say the skeptics are right and it probably doesn't matter. and let's assume, crucially, that you're in a position where you don't have onerous obstacles to voting. let's say you're thinking of just not bothering because you feel hopeless or apathetic or angry about who's running.
voting takes like, an hour or two of your time, if that. it's free. you get a sticker. if you don't feel informed enough or don't have an opinion on a particular candidate or measure, you actually don't have to vote on it! just leave it blank.
if voting really doesn't matter, you basically just ran a tedious errand, like renewing your driver's license or updating your address on your bank account. but if it does matter even a little, it's way more satisfying than paying a bill.
take a scrolling pause to see if you're registered, and if not, take like 3 minutes to do it.
#in the 2020 election cycle i was one of the captains for one of the biggest tech company voter registration/information campaigns#most fun and satisfying work of my career and reached millions of people#we focused on how and not why to vote and provided purely logistical information#so i know a big reason people don't vote is that they're jaded and the process can be annoying#but i promise it is WAY EASIER than you think in the vast majority of cases#despite republican jackasses trying their damndest to make it hard for anyone who's not a white guy to vote#and anything worth doing is worth doing halfway so if you don't want to spend hours researching you don't have to!

lol i have to pay double rent this month bc i'm moving to a new apartment and the leases overlap, and the place i'm leaving isn't prorating even though my lease ends on the 23rd, and i haven't gotten reimbursed for travel expenses because the university takes literal months to do that, so all told i have a grand total of $30 in my bank account that isn't already spoken for 😀 actually now that i think of it make that -$15 because my internet is $45 and auto processes in the middle of the month 😀 i got paid literally today and don't get paid again until the end of june
#i'm so fucking SICK of being poor!!!!!!!!#i already had to completely clear out the last of my savings so i could renew the registration on my car#and had to borrow $700 from my parents to get my brakes fixed#i'm out like $250 from work travel and they literally take 3-6 months to process expense reports for us#which is so unacceptable but especially for employees who you're paying literal poverty wages#i'm going to argue with the apartment office on monday and try to get them to prorate because that's absurd#it should be illegal to charge me for days that literally are not part of my lease#i'm just SO sick of this shit#literally like. $1000 would change my life right now. i am not asking for that much in life
