Commentary: Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This passage underscores the assurance and conviction that come with genuine faith in God's promises.

Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." This verse highlights the importance of complete trust in God rather than relying on our limited perspective.

Psalm 37:5 instructs us to "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." This passage emphasizes the power of committing our plans and concerns to God, trusting Him to work things out for our good.

Dear Lord, Please forgive me for my lack of faith. So often I cry out in fear. I know I will always be in need of you, but please help me to rely on you more!
