note:  much  of  this  has  been  plotted  with  @knowsmercy​‘s  miguel  and  is  the  specific  portrayal  of  miguel  I  am  referring  to  whenever  I  bring  him  up/in  relation  to  jordan.

SEASON  ONE.  pretty  standard;  jordan  leaves  ohio  after  the  fallout  of  her  pressing  assault  and  battery  charges  against  elliot  happens,  and  moves  to  reseda  to  live  with  her  abuela.  

she  meets  miguel  before  summer  ends  because  both  of  their  abuelas  attend  the  same  church,  find  out  they  have  grandchildren  the  same  age,  and  decide  to  introduce  them.  she  clicks  pretty  quickly  with  miguel  and  they  become  fast  friends,  and  both  navigate  the  initial  awkwardness  of  being  the  new  kids  at  west  valley  high  together.  

when  miguel  convinces  johnny  to  start  up  c.obra  k.ai  again,  jordan  ends  up  being  one  of  the  early/first  recruits.

when  the  all-valley  tournament  rolls  around,  jordan  competes  alongside  the  other  c.obra  k.ais  and  makes  it  to  the  quarter  finals  before  being  eliminated.

SEASON  TWO.  very  low-key  in  the  sense  that  jordan’s  mostly  just  attending  c.obra  k.ai  classes  as  normal,  and  in  her  free  time,  rehearsing  as  katherine  plumber  in  a  local  community  theatre’s  production  of  newsies.  

she  doesn’t  have  the  opportunity  to  be  at  the  mall  for  the  fight  ( and  honestly  probably  wouldn’t  have  participated ).

she’s  wary  of  kreese  early  on,  mostly  because  she’s  able  to  confide  in  miguel  about  the  weird  vibe  she  gets  from  him  and  have  that  validated  by  his  own  insight.

as  the  summer  creeps  to  an  end,  the  musical  has  its  opening  and  encore  weekends.  jordan  is  approached  after  the  show’s  saturday  encore  performance  by  a  talent  scout  for  an  agency,  who  recognized  her  from  the  all-valley  tournament.  she  takes  their  business  card  after  being  told  that  they’d  be  interested  in  talking  with  her  and  potentially  representing  her,  if  that’s  something  she  wants  to  pursue.

when  the  now-infamous  school  karate  fight  breaks  out,  she’s  initially  trying  to  help  stop  it,  but  inevitably  gets  pulled  into  throwing  punches  and  kicks  in  an  effort  to  defend  herself.

SEASON  THREE.  at  her  abuela’s  demand,  jordan  quits  c.obra  k.ai  and  karate  full  stop,  which  is  something  she  would  have  done  on  her  own  anyway.  she  feels  as  though  her  perspective  is  off  and  she  needs  to  clear  her  head  and  remember  why  she  came  to  reseda  in  the  first  place.

she  spends  much  of  her  free  time  visiting  miguel  at  the  hospital,  both  before  and  after  he  wakes  up  from  the  coma.  when  he  returns  home,  they  hang  out  a  lot,  and  when  johnny  starts  miguel’s  recovery  plan  of  epic  proportions,  jordan  tags  along  so  that  he  doesn’t  get  more  hurt.

during  this  time,  she’s  also  meeting  with  that  talent  agency  about  opportunities  she  has  it  her  disposal.  it’s  pricey  to  do  so,  but  she  and  abuela  scrounge  up  enough  money  for  her  to  get  an  agent  on  a  trial  basis,  just  to  see  where  auditions  may  take  her.

while  jordan  is  supportive  of  miguel  ( and,  by  extension,  johnny ),  she  does  not  join  eagle  fang  when  it  starts  up;  she  keeps  her  promise  to  abuela  and  trains  one-on-one  with  miguel  to  help  with  his  path  back  to  karate,  but  with  her  focus  back  on  theatre  and  the  fact  that  she’s  getting  into  audition  rooms,  she  doesn’t  have  the  room  for  it  in  her  schedule.

she  is  not  present  for  the  christmas  fight,  but  hears  about  it  directly  from  miguel  and  knows  about  the  eagle  fang/miyagi-do  merger  immediately.

SEASON  FOUR.  jordan  tires  of  the  ‘no  autographs,  please!’  jokes  after  a  couple  of  days,  but  she  manages  to  book  a  skincare  commercial  and  after  wrapping  that,  cashes  her  first  paycheck  as  a  ~professional  actress.  the  money  that  doesn’t  go  toward  agent  fees  goes  into  a  savings  account.

she  and  miguel  continue  to  remain  close  and  they  sometimes  train  one-on-one  outside  of  eagle  fang/miyagi-do  lessons.  when  he  starts  bringing  in  miyagi-do  techniques,  jordan  asks  about  it.  she  asks  daniel  if  it  would  be  alright  if  she  attends  miyagi-do  lessons  to  learn  the  technique,  with  no  commitment  to  competing  in  the  all-valley  tournament.  she  wants  to  learn  multiple  methods  of  defense  and  likewise,  wants  to  diversify  her  skillset  so  that  if  she  ever  has  the  opportunity  to  use  it  for  work,  she  can  bring  as  authentic  as  a  performance  as  possible.

when  word  breaks  about  skills  divisions  at  the  all-valley  and  it  becomes  clear  that  beating  c.obra  k.ai  and  winning  the  ‘bet’,  so  to  speak,  is  in  further  jeopardy,  jordan  is  faced  with  a  tough  decision:  continue  her  indefinite  hiatus  from  competitive  karate,  or  join  one  of  the  dojos  to  compete  at  the  all-valley.  she  ultimately  goes  eagle  fang,  while  still  learning  miyagi-do  on  the  side.  

( note:  she  joins  eagle  fang  after  devon,  as  I  don’t  want  to  rob  devon  rpers  of  what  happens  in  canon.  plus,  two  badass  babes  are  better  than  one,  right? )

jordan  flies  solo  at  prom  and  has  a  great  time  dancing  and  hanging  out  with  her  friends.  when  the  party  drama  kicks  off,  she  cuts  out  early  and  meets  up  with  miguel  back  in  reseda.  she’s  there  when  miguel  puts  johnny  to  bed  and  ends  up  staying  at  miguel’s  for  the  night  because  her  best  friend  is  in  an  extremely  emotionally  vulnerable  state,  and  she  doesn’t  feel  right  leaving  him  alone.

when  the  all-valley  tournament  rolls  around,  jordan  competes  but  is  eliminated  prior  to  the  quarter  finals  on  a  technicality.

she  waits  outside  of  the  locker  rooms  after  miguel  pulls  that  muscle  and  when  he  comes  out  and  tells  her  he  doesn’t  want  to  compete  and  is  going  to  call  an  uber  and  run  away  to  find  his  dad,  she  ( gently )  talks  him  down  from  it,  suggesting  he  should  do  further  research  before  taking  such  a  huge  leap,  and  plan  for  a  move  that  big,  rather  than  be  reactive  in  the  moment.  jordan  lets  her  abuela  know  that  they’re  leaving  the  tournament  early  to  go  blow  off  steam  and  get  some  food,  and  instead  they  head  to  the  nearest  library  to  start  on  research  and  compiling  information.
