Premios Graffiti 2020 - Ceremonia y Nominados
Con una ceremonia de lanzamiento en el Teatro Macció de San José, fueron develados en el día de ayer los nominados a los Premios Graffiti 2020.

Con los shows en vivo de AFC, Clarisa Prince, Pecho E Fierro, Francesca y Pólvora en Chimangos; los Premios Graffiti llegaron por primera vez al interior del país. Fue así como el Teatro Macció de San José fue escenario en la noche de ayer para el lanzamiento de la Décimo-octava edición de los premios a la música uruguaya.
En adición al anuncio de las más de 40 categorías y sus respectivos nominados, se conoció el merecedor del primero de los premios de éste año: Mejor Libro sobre Música Uruguaya - que fuera otorgado a “Galemire - Su Música y Su Tiempo” de Eduardo Rivero.
Los demás ganadores serán anunciados en la Ceremonia de Entrega este 19 y 20 de Octubre en el Auditorio del Sodre; junto con los seleccionados por el voto popular.
El público podrá decidir a través de la web de los Premios Graffiti los ganadores en las categorías: Álbum del Año (teniendo como base los ya nominados), Tema Popular del Año (entre 5 temas elegidos por el jurado) y Artista del Año (libre entre todos los artistas uruguayos que tuvieran actividad en 2019). Éste último recibe - a partir de esta edición - el nombre de Omar Gutiérrez en homenaje al comunicador maragato.
Sabemos que comprar todos los números de la lotería no garantiza hacerse acreedor del premio, y no necesariamente los artistas más nominados sean los ganadores; pero al menos al momento, las ternas benefician a el Cuarteto de Nos (con 7 nominaciones), seguidos de No Te Va a Gustar y Nicolás Molina (con 5). ¿Serán las figuritas conocidas del rock uruguayo quienes salgan victoriosas en ésta nueva edición de los Grammy locales?. Hay que esperar algunas semanas para saberlo.
