But this was definitely one of those moments where us as viewers had to step outside our minds & put on the characters shoes. My daughter thinks that I’m Google. She will text me or come to me and ask me stuff she could have just googled.

Her: I need some new gospel artist to listen to other than Kirk.

Me: Okay…

Her: So any recommendations????

Me: searches google for “new young gospel artist” screenshots results, text her the image and say try these and see which ones resonate with your spirit.

Me: Google is your friend…

Her: (sends voice text mocking me) “Google is your friend” and then says “so are you mom.”

I can't remember who asked about this recently but does anyone know of a mod that slows down the time it takes Sims to eat? I remember when it used to take too long but now it's too fast. They take one bite and the food is almost gone another bite and they're getting up to clean up. I'm trying to get them to eat together. See this is exactly why I pose and use deco food.

So for the last few days my daughter has been either home or coming home from work early. She’ll call ahead asking me to turn on her laptop and game. We’ve been simming together at the office table. We chat, enjoy our snacks, and pixel people. I still haven’t figured out which mod needs updating that’s preventing her sims from sleeping but for now she queues up naps or cheats their needs. Anyway, this has been fun. However, my little brownie is a Leo and has strong main character energy. So as nice as this quality gaming time has been I can’t get any real progress done on my story or my gameplay.

She doesn’t have TOOL mod so the apartment I built for her simself still has the mouse holes and leaking pipes. So I said just move to a nicer apartment in the art or fashion districts or a house. I showed her the San Sequoia house I did that looks like a townhouse. She loved it. I said pack your sims things in the household inventory, delete the kitchen and baths so get the money and sell what you didn't want to keep. That way you can furnish the house with the items from the household. She damn near deleted everything except their beds and one sofa.

I’m like… “THATS NOT WHAT I SAID DO!” So she begs me to furnish the house. She goes on about building and decorating is NOT her ministry. She’s a CAS and skill building game player. I sigh and give in and slide my laptop to the side and began to quickly furnish her house. I’m not trying to get lost in the details of clutter and wall art. It can looked like they just got settled in for awhile. I finish and resume my taking pics for my story so I can go play on my gameplay save.

DO YOU KNOW SHE ENDED UP SAVING AND CLOSING HER SIMELF SAVE JUST TO OPEN ANOTHER SAVE INSTEAD!!

I look up and she’s playing the Sims I built that huge Alto apartment for. Planning their wedding and she asked if I had a wedding venue in the gallery. I said no but I follow enough builders that do so go look at theirs. She says but I want a RichAnt original. I said what difference does it make only you will see it. You don’t even take pictures. So anyway, she’s at work today and I think she has clients all day. But I get a text asking me if I could dress all her male sims for the bachelor party and wedding because I was so fast and decisive. Also, could I build a modern house in the Pinnacles for them to live in after the wedding? ON THE 64X64 LOT!!

This is not the quality time I was hoping for but she did cook some really good curry chicken for dinner. Everyone knows good food is my love language.

So sorry for the late reply. It's been a busy few days. Here they are. I don’t always have them all toggled on as it creates extremely dramatic shadows. When you toggled on it’s best to zoom in with the mouse instead of the arrows on the keyboard to prevent blocky shadows. @dreamstatesims

What CAS item (hair, clothing, accessory...) screams your sim's name so loudly that you can't imagine using it on other sims? You can choose multiple items and answer for as many sims as you want :)

Locs locs and more locs. I do have a couple of other sims that have them but I am always thinking of them when I find new loc styles. Also, cc clothing and shoes that looks well made and expensive. The off chance I find nice looking outfits that are somewhat modest for Lady O I grab them.

17. Who decides which movies to watch? Mostly Isaiah picks the movie. Octavia doesn't watch a lot of TV so, she doesn't mind letting him pick. He wouldn't pick something he knew she wouldn't enjoy, though.

27. Who is more down-to-earth? Oh, it goes without saying that Isaiah is the more down-to-earth one.

37. How did they become friends? This one is kinda hard to answer. They never really had a friendship in the traditional sense. I plan to do a backstory of how they met. But he pursued her as a romantic interest from the start. And at one point in their marriage, they could call themselves each other's best friends. Not so much at the moment.

45. Are they good at comforting one another? Does someone hide their feelings usually? They are both good at comforting each other but Isaiah tends to keep his concerns or fears close to his chest. He's very much the typical I'm the man I need to solve it or fix it.

38. Who’s more ticklish? Oh, definitely Octavia. Like violently ticklish. Tickling her feet is torture to her.

Isaiah would say Octavia is self-righteous and delusional. 13. What would they say each other’s best quality is? Octavia would say her husband's best quality id his loyalty to his family and friends. She also loves his generosity. He would say Octavia is strong, unwavering in her faith and a good mother.

I hope today finds you in great spirits. I’ve been following your story for over a year…maybe two (I can’t remember) and I absolutely love it. I’ve also been looking at your art, and while I know nothing about “art”, I know I love yours. I’ve even watched a few of your streams while you’ve painted and talked about your work -I swear I can feel your love of art through your words. I have to say thank you for opening my eyes to painting. Okay, so on to the point.

I’m the youngest of five siblings, and like in my story, there are only two girls – with my sister being the oldest. The two of us share an incredible bond and I’ve been searching for a way to show her how much she means to me.
