Drag Race Holland 103 Drama Queens

After the tumultuous ending from the previous episode, the knives have been sharpened extra sharp because in this competition, there is only 1 that can stand in the spotlight. The queens act it out in a scene from the new series: Gooise Drags. Actor Rick Paul van Mulligen tries to teach them the tricks of the trade. And the runway has a Dutch touch: Miss Holland.

His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima visited the first performance evening after reopening The National Theater in Theater aan het Spui in The Hague on Wednesday evening 3 June. Theaters in the Netherlands will be able to open their doors again from 1 June for up to thirty visitors, after an eleven week closure due to the corona pandemic.

The Royal Couple saw two performances from the new series "The National Theater always plays", which has been specially developed for reopening, taking into account the applicable measures for theaters. Romana Vrede played an ode to the audience with "Love Declaration". Rick Paul van Mulligen interpreted "You are my mother", a 1981 text by Joop Admiraal based on conversations he had with his demented mother in the nursing home. All twelve performances from "The National Theater always plays" are inspired by the current time and contain lyrics full of hope, comfort and distraction. The starting point is the meeting with the audience. The performances were rehearsed briefly and they are necessarily performed without extensive sets and technique. After the summer, some pieces will be further developed into full-fledged performances, in order to be able to play through the corona pandemic with a flexible series of short and long pieces.

The Royal Couple subsequently participated with the other theatergoers in a short discussion with the actors and directors. The audience was asked about their experience with this first theater evening and the King expressed his support and appreciation for everyone working in the theater sector. Afterwards, the Royal Couple also spoke with the two actors, directors Noël Fischer and Eric de Vroedt and director of the National Theater Cees Debets, about the artistic and financial consequences of the corona pandemic for the theater sector, how they deal with the measures in force and how they looking forward to the future. In line with the general guidelines for going out mainly locally, the Royal Couple visited a performance in their own city.

HBO Asia推出全新原創時代劇影集 「格里斯城」正式開始製作

HBO Asia今天宣布，全新原創時代劇影集「格里斯城」Grisse的主要拍攝工作已經展開，全劇共八集，每集一小時。這部以英語製播的影集將為HBO Asia原創大製作帶來全新氣象，透過拍攝在地化的故事題材，吸引更多亞洲各地區的觀眾並進一步強化與亞洲地區的連結。「格里斯城」預計今年稍晚獨家於HBO與HBO HD頻道首播，HBO隨選視訊服務（HBO On Demand）也將安排播出。

「格里斯城」故事背景設定在1800年代中期，荷屬東印度殖民時期，一群素昧平生的民眾集結起來對抗殘暴政權，在抵抗後突然發現他們接管了原本被荷蘭軍隊控管的格里斯城。「格里斯城」故事圍繞在幾位具有不同背景及信仰的獨特角色，他們欲聯合起來脫離暴政的枷鎖，重新決定自己的命運。

「格里斯城」由HBO Asia與新加坡Infinite Studios共同開發與製作，以集結來自各國的演員為特色，包括印尼、日本、馬來西亞、新加坡，以及歐洲。演員陣容包含阿迪妮威拉絲緹（Adinia Wirasti）（HBO Asia「魔人爭霸」第一季）、Marthino Lio（《Sayang You Can Dance》）、Michael Wahr（《City Homocide》）、Edward Akbar（《Air Terjun Pengantin》）、Jamie Aditya（《Sync or Swim》）。

此外還有Toshiji Takeshima（HBO「噬血真愛」）、Joanne Kam（《Kopitiam》）、Zack Lee（《全面突襲2》）、Tom Dejong（《Medisch Centrum West》）、Ully Triani（《Stay With Me》）、Rick Paul Van Mulligen（《A’dam E.V.A.》）、Alexandra Gottardo（《Tanah Air》）、Hossan Leong（《The Forbidden City》），以及Jimmy T（《機器戰警3》）。Mike Wiluan（《Buffalo Boys》）擔任導演及節目統籌。

HBO Asia執行長施鵬騌表示：「我們非常開心能再次延攬許多亞洲的優秀人才，共同打造出以印尼為核心的作品。「格里斯城」的曲折劇情與和豐富的故事內容，相信一定能吸引亞洲以及其他地區的觀眾。」
