23 year old Ana Benevides died today because of the high temperature in Rio. It felt like 140 degrees Fahrenheit in the stadium. 1,000 people fainted because of the heat as well.

The stadium did not allow water to be brought in. And they closed circulating air vents that would have made it cooler so folks outside the stadium could not watch the show.

My heart goes out to all the Swifties in Rio who are currently facing difficulties due to recent events. It is truly heartbreaking. I believe that if Taylor and her team had anticipated what might happen, they might have postponed or altered their plans to protect all the Swifties in Rio. Everything that occurred yesterday and today seemed truly unavoidable. In times like these, Swifties should unite and refrain from playing the blame game. We cannot turn back time, but I am confident that all the event organizers in Rio have learned something from this experience. I genuinely hope Taylor is okay; this must be traumatic for her and everyone involved. We must not forget that she is also just a human being. She cannot control everything on her own. She was visibly struggling and grasping for air in some of the videos yesterday, which was devastating to see. 💔 She's doing everything not to disappoint the swifties, and she really doesn't deserve any hate. I sincerely wish that everyone will enjoy the remaining two shows without any hassle. 🙏🏻

Regarding recent events:

Taylor did what she could yesterday during the show, it was not her responsibility but T4F's to guarantee the well-being of the people inside the stadium, it was negligence to prohibit the entry of drinks during a heat wave and even more covering the ventilation so that people outside wouldn't see the show.

I am very sorry for the terrible loss of Ana and I know that together we will ensure that justice is done for her.

To finish I want to say that all this is in no way Taylor's fault, if you want to find a culprit, blame T4F who did not care about the health and well-being of the fans.

I don't like having to write this kind of thing since it's super sad but it's necessary. In the first and only concert in Brazil so far, a girl died due to total negligence of security (t4f, who apologized with a pathetic letter, really) and the next day they had people under the sun and heat for hours and then , out of nowhere and as happened in Argentina on the 10th (I was present so I know what it's like to spend hours in the rain or heat), they cancel the show suddenly. To this, the Brazilians decided to boo Taylor as if it were her fault that she had to cancel a show where it's 60 degrees Celsius inside the stadium, it doesn't make any kind of sense and it's super reasonable that she canceled it. Also, Taylor probably didn't decide and it was probably Tay's team and the government, since I think it's like 50/50 when it comes to these types of decisions, or at least that's how it was in Argentina. The anger is so much that I have even seen Brazilians wishing her death, knowing that if she didn't cancel it they could have lose their lives, she is taking care of them and on top of that they get angry, even Taylor had problems yesterday breathing correctly and had to throw bottles of water during ATW. Not to mention that producers (I don't know who very well since I couldn't find any information) decided to close the places where the air flows in the stadium so that people outside couldn't see anything, another negligent decision like not letting them enter with water bottles. I hope these people think and make the right decisions, a girl has already died, I don't know what else they want.

No me gusta tener que escribir este tipo de cosas ya que es súper triste pero es necesario. En el primer y único concierto de Brasil hasta ahora murió una chica por negligencia total de la seguridad (t4f, los cuales se disculparon con una carta patética la verdad) y al otro día tuvieron a la gente horas bajo el sol y el calor para luego, de la nada y como paso en argentina el 10 (yo estuve presente así que se lo que es estar horas bajo la lluvia o el calor) cancelar el show de manera repentina. A esto, los brasileros deciden abuchear a Taylor como si fuera su culpa el hecho de tener que cancelar un show donde dentro del estadio hacen 60 grados centígrados, no tiene ningún tipo de sentido y es súper razonable el hecho de que lo haya cancelado. Además, probablemente Taylor no haya decidido y fueron seguro el equipo de tay y el gobierno, ya que creo que es como un 50/50 en cuanto a este tipo de decisiones, o por lo menos así fue en Argentina. Es tanto el enojo que hasta he visto brasileros deseándole la muerte, sabiendo que si no cancelaba ellos podían llegar a perder la vida, los está cuidando y encima se enojan, hasta Taylor tenía problemas ayer para respirar de manera correcta y tuvo que lanzar botellas de agua durante ATW. Sin mencionar que productores (no se muy bien quienes ya que no encontré información) decidieron cerrar los lugares por los que corre el aire en el estadio para que la gente que estuviera afuera no puediera ver nada, otra decisión negligente como no dejar que entren con botellas de agua. Ojalá está gente piense y tomen las decisiones correctas, ya murió una chica, no se que más quieren.
