Her Captain (Yandere!Petra x Levi)
Tumblr media
Words: 1,9k | AO3 ver. Tags: Yandere Petra, Out of Character, Both of them really, Devotion, Obsessive Behavior, Requited Love
I found it funny when I saw people call Petra obsessive, so here is my take on actually obsessed Petra ♥ 3 short scenes with Yandere!Petra and her captain.
***
“I missed this so much!” Petra said, happily jogging to her man sitting at his office desk. He pulled her into his lap. He knew she liked to be as close as possible and he didn’t mind.
They got back from the expedition a couple of days earlier and only now Levi had time to actually spend with her alone, where they could openly express their attraction.
Petra embraced her captain and took a deep breath of the scent of his neck. She felt like flying. The endorphins from being in his arms were making her ecstatic. When she decided to confess her feelings towards him only a couple of weeks prior, she didn’t expect to learn he actually liked her back. She knew it was not the same, because what she felt towards him was like nothing she ever lived though before. From the moment she first saw him as a young cadet, she became obsessed with the idea of getting closer to him. It started as a crush, but the more she got to know him, her obsession grew as rapidly. After a year in his squad, she couldn’t hold it in anymore. She was already devoted, ready to do anything for him and she told him all about it. She expected him to be weirded out or even wanting to use her for his pleasure, but instead, he reacted with concern over her radical tendencies. He didn’t want her to get hurt for his sake. He wanted to keep her safe. Petra broke down into tears back then, and that’s how their relationship started.
In the eyes of others, nothing changed. She was great at masking her love for him, but all these lies didn’t exist when it was only the two of them.
Levi ran the fingers of his left hand through her hair, pulling her out of her thoughts.
“I’m glad you survived,” he said seriously, looking deep into her eyes.
The confession melted her heart. She smiled shyly.
“I promised I would. I would never lie to you.”
The man did not respond, knowing how crude the losses during the expeditions were, no matter how good a soldier could be.
His hand moved down to her cheek where he caressed her blushing skin with his thumb. Petra looked away timidly and almost jumped when he leaned over to her lips.
“Ah! Captain, wait! I…”
Levi stopped and looked at her, raising one brow. She covered her face with one hand, blush spreading to her ears.
“I’m not worthy,” she said with concern.
The man let out a breath and kissed her jaw instead. It was a soft kiss, nothing imposing. Petra put her hands on his shoulders, but didn’t push him away. He knew she enjoyed it, and he was not about to let her treat him as if he was better than her. He couldn’t say it out loud, but in fact, he was the one to be lucky that such a wonderful woman somehow fell for him.
“Captain…” she let out, feeling the burning pleasure from the touch of his lips when he kissed her down her neck.
“I told you to call me Levi when we’re alone,” he reminded her between kisses.
“I am not worth-”
“Call me Levi,” he ordered, making her shudder.
“Captain…Levi…” she said in a small voice, barely opening her mouth.
“Levi.”
Petra closed her eyes tightly.
“...Levi.”
“Good,” he praised and moved back to close her lips with his.
—-
“Oh my Walls, I came as soon as I heard!” Petra yelled out to him, appearing in the open door to his bedroom. He instantly regretted that the information on him getting hurt spread so fast.
“It’s just a cut. It will heal in a couple of days,” he assured her while cleaning the cut on his arm. The woman almost ran to his side to inspect his injury. She was distressed, holding back tears at the sight.
“This…how…how could this happen?” She asked, so close to taking the tissue from his hand to take care of it herself. She was trembling, he noticed in the corner of his eye.
“I stopped a fight between two drunk soldiers. I knew this could happen,” he said.
“Then why did you do it?”
“There was another soldier passed out on the table between them.”
“Captain, listen!” She stepped in front of him and grabbed his wrist to get him to look her in the face. “No one, I mean NO ONE, is more important than you.”
Levi was silent, but his face stayed neutral. They stared at each other until Petra blushed and let go of him. He spoke up before she could apologize.
“I wouldn’t risk my life for that. Have some trust in me,” he reprimanded her.
Petra signed and moved closer. She put her forehead on his shoulder.
“I trust you more than anyone. I do. I love you. But I’m worried… I can’t live in a world without you,” she confessed, overtaken by her emotions.
Levi sighed and leaned his head on hers, then resumed bandaging his forearm, reaching over her slim figure. She didn’t move until he finished. They embraced each other and he leaned to her ear.
”For our future together, I won’t break my promise.”
—-
It was another survey fundraising event in Mitras where the highest soldiers from the regiment were sent to mingle with the nobles and get the funds for another expedition.
Petra walked the halls, coming back from the bathroom, and wondered if she'd be able to catch Levi for some time together, despite him being mostly surrounded with higher ups that couldn't care less about her.
She entered the main ballroom and looked around. Her world brightened when she noticed the man of her dreams, but just as fast, it all crumbled seeing the women gathered around him. She stopped in her tracks, feeling her heart getting heavy.
The view was blurry, she couldn't focus on Levi's expression. All she could see was the way the women simper in front of the captain, the low cleavages of their beautiful dresses, and the smiles on their faces covered in makeup. The blood boiled in her veins.
The world became gray while she realized the difference between her and them. She had no money, her only proper attire was the military uniform, and makeup was something she barely remembered existed, as almost no one in her surroundings used it. She thought of her ginger hair and freckles that the other girls made fun of her for in her childhood years, and the light disappeared from her eyes.
Petra watched the women, following the moves of their limbs, as if waiting for any of them to try and make a move on her captain. She may be an ugly soldier, but that meant she was stronger than any of them. The mental image of them laying hands on Levi made her feral. She didn't know how long she stayed in the shadows, watching them. Her palms hurt from the way she pushed her nails into them.
She was distracted by Gunther coming up to check on her. As if with a switch of a button, she assured him with a perfectly cheerful voice that she was fine, just drowned in her thoughts. She took part in the small talk, taking a glance at the captain from time to time. She couldn't believe he was still standing there with these women. It was not like him, he didn't like this kind of thing. What if he actually enjoyed the attention this time? What if the way their bodies swayed when they laughed caught his eye? Petra felt sick at the thought. What could she do to stop that? None of these spoiled ladies knew how fantastic he was on the battlefield, how he cared about his comrades despite his mean behavior. She felt helpless.
"I'm sorry, I have to go somewhere quieter," she excused herself and turned on her heel. She couldn't stand watching them anymore. She had a duty for the regiment to not scare the nobles away. She should be happy for her love having a good time, but all she felt was a draining pain in her chest.
Petra stopped at the window in the hallway, leaned her side on the wall thinking about her captain. As she dissociated into her mind, she imagined walking up to the group and shooing the other women away. In that daydream, she was beautiful. Her body was less muscular, not scarred. Her hair was long and golden like in the lucky summer days when the sunset light hit it. Levi would look at her and forget all about the others. She would be perfect, but still not as perfect as him. No one could be.
"Here you are," the voice of the exact man from her mind pulled her out of the sweet vision. She turned her face to the wall, hiding from his sight.
"I needed a break from the noise," she excused herself. Levi stepped closer to see her face.
"You're crying?" he asked, raising a brow. "Did some of these fucks treated you badly?"
"No! No, that’s not it," she assured him, wiping her eyes with the side of her finger.
"What happened?” he pushed. The woman stayed silent, still with her back to him. "Petra. What happened?"
"I…" she took a slow and deep breath. "I couldn't watch you enjoying the company of these women. I'm sorry," she admitted with a deep guilt in her voice.
"Enjoying?" Levi asked, irritated. "Like shit I enjoyed it. If Mike and Erwin hadn't come and get their attention, I'd start fucking swearing at the bullshit that spilled from their mouths," he spat out.
Petra budged and took a glance at him over her shoulder.
"But they looked so beautiful in their long dresses…"
Levi looked at her like she was speaking nonsense, and only then realized she was jealous. He sneaked behind her and embraced her waist, making the woman yelp in surprise.
"Someone can see us!" she protested quietly, but he only pulled her closer, provoking a deep blush on her face.
“You think I lied to you when I promised you a life together?” he whispered in her ear, making her freeze.
“No, but… you have every right to change your mind,” she said nervously, even though she leaned into his embrace, enjoying every second of it. She shivered when his lips touched her neck.
“When we get rid of the titans…” he started, even though they had no way of knowing if that was even possible. “You’ll become my wife.”
Petra covered her mouth with her hand, her eyes were shut tight. Hearing his words was ecstatic. Levi continued kissing her, swaying their bodies from side to side in the rhythm of the music coming from the other room.
“We will leave together, far from the city. Just the two of us,” he continued speaking, letting himself imagine things so out of their reach. “And I will breed you until you give me our strong, healthy child,” he finished, knowing exactly what she wanted to hear. The woman in his arms was already breathing heavily. She looked over her shoulder, her eyes burning with desire.
“I love you,” he whispered, leaving the last kiss on her cheek.
Petra turned around and threw her hands over his neck before their lips finally crashed together.

wildest dreams (rivetra pwp)
Levi Ackerman was a light sleeper.
Although he has been getting better sleep and resting well ever since he started sharing his bed with one Petra Ral, there were still nights when sleep would not come easy and any slight noise he hears would rouse him from his slumber.
And tonight was one of those nights.
It started with Petra accidentally kicking him on the shin in her sleep.
Levi's eyes fluttered open, turning on his side to look at her under the low lamplight in his room.
Petra was wearing nothing but her underwear and one of his old thin shirts that were nearly translucent due to its age, she was also on her side facing him but her eyes were closed and soft deep breaths came from her parted lips, signifying her deep slumber. Half her body was covered with his sheets, which she started pulling away from him in her sleep with a twist of her leg, bunching up the fabric around and in between them.
Curious, Levi kept his eyes trained on her face. She was still fast asleep. And dreaming. The movement of her eyes beneath her lids was proof enough.
The corner of his lips quirks to a smile, wondering what on earth she was dreaming about. Perhaps she's dreaming of killing titans.
Levi inched closer, brushing stray strands of her hair away from her face and moving to plant a kiss on her forehead but pauses when he hears it.
A whimper.

The Relativity of Rain
Summary : Petra teaches Levi the relativity of rain
Word count : 400 something
Rating : G
Tags : Levi Ackerman/Petra Ral, Isabel Magnolia (mentioned), Furlan Church (mentioned), grief, comfort, carrots are funny
The weather immediately following expeditions has always been more or less inclement in summer. It's like the sky acknowledges in a way that the Scouts have had their fair share of losses. A rebellion against this unfair course of fate.
Levi was strolling around the old headquarters of the Survey Corps under this rainy weather, his hooded green cloak pulled up over his head when he finally found Petra sitting on a stoned bench in the park surrounding the castle. A quiet place away from everything and everyone where she could daydream at peace.
"Petra?"
She started at the sound of her Captain's voice, not having noticed him come by.
"Captain! I almost had a heart attack."
"You better go back inside before you die of pneumonia."
A silence fell.
"I was staring at the clouds." Petra finally admitted. "I saw a weird carrot-shaped one earlier and it somehow made me laugh."
"Petra, it's raining."
"Yes, but only outside."
"Petra, we're outside. And it's raining."
"You're saying it as if it's a problem."
"You'll get sick if you stay here"
"Captain Levi."
"What?"
Petra spoke to him in a dead serious tone, sounding like a teacher who was repeating for the umpteenth time the same explanation to a challenging student.
"It's raining outside. It doesn't matter that it's raining outside, if it's sunny inside. If the weather is nice in your heart, then everything is fine."
Levi tried to figure out how the whole thing could work, weighing up pros and cons from that approach but eventually coming to the conclusion that he couldn't apprehend it rationally as he marveled at Petra's ability to see funny shapes in the cloudy sky.
Something within him hesitated and then he noticed that it was mid-July, that despite the rain showering their corner behind Wall Rose, it was not cold. There was no wind and it was not pouring so bad after all.
That's how he realized that the reason why he was looking for Petra precisely was because it's been all cloudy in his heart lately - it's been six years already since Isabel and Furlan passed. And that he was happy to find her here, because the weather was always nice by her side, because she always lit up a funny little sun above his head even when it's raining.
Levi stole one last glance at that gray sky up above Petra.
And finally decided to sit by her side and stay.

And though I close my eyes
Summary: On his 84th birthday, Levi looks back. [Post-canon events, canon-compliant]
Pairing: Levi x Pain Levi x Petra, minor Gabi x Falco
Warnings: Suicidal ideation, major character death (ends bittersweet I promise lol)
Words: 1,525
Inspired by this funny video on Youtube. How I turned it into angst, I also don't know.
---
“Happy birthday, happy birthday~”
“I’m too old for surprises,” Levi drily notes, trying hard not to smile. He thinks he would’ve hightailed out the room, but Gabi had already blocked the way.
They all ignore his grumpy grumble as Falco places the cake in front of him.
“Happy birthday to you~”
The room erupts in jeers and joyous laughter the moment the song ends, and Levi finds himself being nudged to blow the candle and make a wish.
“Give grandpa Levi a birthday hug, Carter,” Gabi nudges her youngest son.
“Happy birthday, grandpa Levi!” Carter greets him, now too big at ten years old to climb his lap, but not much of a rebellious teen enough to not throw his arms around the old man.
Levi gives an ‘oof’ as he accepts the eager hug from the boy, a small fond smile tugging up the corner of his lip. He gives Carter a pat on the head and allows him to ramble away.
“Happy birthday, Uncle Levi,” Falco greets again as Levi accepts his gift, giving a grateful nod to the couple he’d basically raised since he moved to Marley.
“Thanks,” Levi says, then remarks when he’s sure that Carter was already occupied with wolfing down his slice of cake. “I hope this is my last.”
Gabi erupts in laughter, used to his grumbles and joking quips of how an old fuck like him is still breathing.
Falco, ever the sweet boy that he is even as a middle-aged man now, gives him a nervous smile, always antsy at the thought of Levi dying. It’s the same for all their other children.
“Oh, don’t be like that, grandpa,” Sophia, Gabi and Falco’s now 26-year-old first-born, noted. “I bet you and Carter can still go racing with your wheelchair and his bike.”
“Pretty sure wheelchairs aren’t made for racing,” another piped up. This one looking more and more like Falco since the day he turned 23. Benjamin had sometimes been Levi’s favorite. The blonde knows when to shut up, fond as the old man may be of all of Gabi and Falco’s children.
Levi never understood why they’d all made a fuss out of his eventual passing. He thinks it’s been long overdue, if he’s honest. It’s not like he’d faced death on the daily during his prime years in the military.
And what the hell are you supposed to do at eighty-fucking-four?
The world have no need for Ackermans now.
It would’ve been easy—a gun to his temple would do the trick. A noose around his neck is also a less messy option.
Hell, he could’ve just given into his injuries four decades ago and maybe he would’ve joined them all earlier when he’d saluted his comrades for the last time.
He finds that he thinks of them more frequently in the last few years. Levi doesn’t know if it’s just the impulse that comes with old age—to be a sensitive little shit as you crawl your years away to your gravestone.
Levi mind floats to them as the world gets more advanced, and they didn’t even get the chance to experience what they all worked so hard for.
He thinks Hange would’ve loved all the new technologies that pop up in Marley in what seems like every year.
They recently developed this box thing called a “television” (the twitch on Gabi’s brow whenever Levi breaks another remote had always been priceless). Levi tried fixing the wires once when their first television broke down, before Falco politely asked him if he needed any help and took over repairs.
He gets the feeling the late Scout scientist would’ve dissected the box the first chance she gets.
Marley’s books were next level—their libraries even more so—and he can only imagine how Erwin’s huge-ass eyebrows would’ve shot up in interest.
Tch. Maybe Levi would be a sap enough to gift him a book or two.
There’s a pub a few blocks away the first apartment he rented in Marley. He thinks Eld, Oluo and Gunther would all appreciate the unique list of drinks. He’d bet his finest tea cup that Eld would’ve sneaked a bottle or two out.
The three men sometimes got the courage to ask their captain out for drinks back when they were still alive. And despite Levi’s annoyance at their tendency to share a single brain cell, he’d acquiesced once or twice.
And most importantly, he’d found something called a record player.
“Imagine if we can just play music in private, captain. Maybe you wouldn’t be too hesitant to join in on the fun,” she’d teased him when he’d refused to dance in public during one of the midwinter festivals. “We can ask Hange to invent one!”
“Don’t give her more ideas,” Levi had replied to her, hands shyly shoved in his coat pocket as he lounged at the back of the ballroom.
She’d flashed him a dazzling smile and kept him company for the rest of the night, singing along to the band.
He’d found himself entranced whenever he sneaked a glance at her that night, her ginger hair looking more like silk with her every sway to the music.
It’s not that he didn’t want to dance with her. He regretted that he didn’t, to be frank. But Captain Levi back then didn’t have time to dwell on regrets.
On nights when he couldn’t sleep, he’d sometimes turn on the record player that Gabi bought him. He knows jackshit about what’s trending, nor does he care (and the model he still owns is way outdated), often just grabbing a record that seems to fit his tastes.
(Or reminds him of her voice, despite only hearing her sing once.)
“Grandpa Levi,” Carter snaps him out of his reverie. Levi looks around, as if bringing himself back out of his thoughts. He finds the room was abuzz with the usual chatter as the family always celebrate midwinter thanksgiving along with his birthday.
“Wanna go outside?” Carter invites, then comes closer as if conspiring with the old man. “This place is full of boring adults.”
Levi looks at the cake that he seemed to be staring at for awhile now, and decides to humor the kid.
Sometimes conversations with Carter reminds him of another energetic green-eyed boy he’d been in charge of in what seemed like forever ago.
“Yeah, sure thing brat,” Levi replies, making a wobbling attempt to stand up. “Can you grab my cane? This wheelchair’s making my ass sore.”
------------------------
It’s been a few days since his 84th birthday and Levi sees them more these days.
Sometimes he thinks he can feel Erwin lounging next to him, the man’s steady and confident presence accompanying him as Levi flips another page on the morning paper.
He’d also get a flash of messy auburn hair and goggles, only for it to be gone the moment he turns around to find the source of the annoying cackle.
At night, he’d often hear the sound of footsteps in the hallway, which reminds him of his former squad sneaking back to their rooms after a night of whatever fuckery they got involved in. He’d chalked it up to Gabi and Falco coming home late, despite the footsteps being heavier than they’d usually be.
Perhaps the worst of them all is the ginger hair he’d see from the corner of his remaining eye, only for the visage to be gone before he can even blink.
On good days, he’d find her soft fingers running through Carter’s hair, and his heart twists whenever his mind strays to the realization that this oblivious boy could’ve been their grandchild had she lived past the 57th.
Sometimes he’d get a whiff of her lavender laundry soap as he attempts to make his cup of tea, and he swears the taste is almost the same as when she’d made it for him decades ago.
Levi thinks it’s another good day today as she sits in front of him, her form more vivid than it had ever been in the past.
Petra’s smile is soft and melancholic, but it’s there. It's there as she holds his hand tight and reassuring, as she tucks a stray strand of inky hair out of his face. He missed her smile, and he doesn’t know when was the last time he’d been this happy, save for when Gabi and Falco adopted Carter from the streets.
That’s why he doesn’t understand why Gabi is panicking next to him, or why Falco had ran out to seek help.
He would’ve scolded the brats (because they’ll always be brats to him) to calm the fuck down, but Levi can’t seem to find his voice right now.
Everything momentarily went black, his vision blurring, and he feels what felt like a final sharp squeeze on his chest.
“Took you long enough, Captain,” Petra’s voice finally pipes up after a moment, her cheery smile as bright as when she’d first saluted him. He’d only ever seen her the past few days, but had never heard her talk.
It’s been more than forty years since he’d last heard her voice.
As he looks around, taking in how everything feels light and freeing, something in Levi tells him that her voice will be a part of his daily moving forward.
Fucking finally.
