In case anyone still interested in Ryo-kun is still around, a quick update:

Despite saying he would never get on a stage again He’s participating in a concert on August 6th.

He’s “officially” back, but he still doesn’t know what to do about uploads. For now, he’s put a few songs up on his twitter and recorded about 800 others that will prolly never see the light of day. He showed a bunch on a twitcast and they ranged from Koshitantan to glow to World of Paradox.

Last twitcast, he went “I really want to do a solo live again... I guess I have a lot to think about...” before hastily saying bye and cutting it off.

I think it’s always sad, if the Utaites delete their covers, which are always nice. So I want to share and preserve those covers most time. Since Ryo-kun is one of my favourite utaites (even though he’s not an utaite anymore). Yeah, he did cover “Eh? Ah, sou.”.

I was planning on posting this a while ago, but -- In light of his (not so) recent graduation, I’m just going to share my favourite covers of his. Because I don’t think I need to talk about who he is since everyone probably knows. If not, check out ryoism (run by crisyah).

So yeah, he’s retiring as an utaite but continuing as Ryota in a band, Equal, with 164. Which is awesome because they’re both awesome.

Wait, one thing, I’ll just say I really like his covers with Baru but that might be my bias speaking since I started listening to him after his cover of Emotion&Reason, which features her. Emotion&Reason is amazing if you haven’t listened to it yet!

Anyway, best of luck to Ryota, 164 and Equal!
