All Detroit Become Human firearms list
⚠️I know shit about guns, only the basics. If u know something let me know cuz you'll see i got problems identifying real life inspirations.
Curiously most of firearm stuff in the game files (like sticker textures) are in german(?) mixed with some english terms.
HOMELAND SECURITY SNIPER RIFLE (CA8-2)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pretty much a military large cal sniper rifle from RRC, according to the textures;
In the game files is stated as "SNIPERRIFLE" and "CONNORSNIPERRIFLE". Basically no variation;
It's stated is a 12.7mm anti-material large caliber, possibly 12.7x99mm (.50 BMG);
According to the game files it's inspired in the H&K CA8-2 or SL8, probably a "futuristic" version mixed with other tactical sniper rifles;
SCHMOT BENDER rifle scope according to the textures, probably a reference to Schmidt & Bender. There's a "Onrara 50'S /30.24™" next to it, maybe it's a name? Who knows;
Likely adaptable and interchangeable parts: barrel, scope, stock, bipod;
HOMELAND SECURITY ASSAULT RIFLE (CZ1010)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the game files is a stated as "M4SWATRIFLE";
The stock feels inspired in SCAR H but the overall rifle seems like an futuristic AR-15 style rifle mix or CZ BREN;
.45 cal || I couldn't find this specific cal for a "M4" which is usually 5.56 NATO but i did find .458 SOCOM and .450 Bushmaster;
The textures point out for 2 possible manifactures: "Voge Force Log Ltd" or "GOCISSELE AUTOSTARS";
All SWAT, Riot and CL guards use this shit - def generic;
Futuristic holographic sight, likely with target locking;
SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL (AZPR40 SZ)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
According to the textures is a generic semi-auto from KAISAN-Phoenix;
Found 3 variations in the game files "COPGUN", "COPGUNB" and "TODDGUN";
.457 cal (it's an airgun cal irl), likely to be .40S&W according to the textures but should be .45 ACP;
Looks heavely inspired in the Smith & Wesson M&P45 full size with a different grip;
PISTOL (MS853 BLACK HAWK)
Tumblr media
In the game files is stated as "DANIELGUN" (ta~daaa);
Stated as .355 cal, basically a 9mm (by Jonbal Ammunition in this case);
It's the only time we see this pistol being used in the game;
No idea which irl pistol they exactly used as inspiration cuz feels like a mix of guns like Colt 1908, Beretta M9 or even Stechkin APS;
HANK'S REVOLVER (357 MAGNUM)
Tumblr media
I couldn't identify the manufacturer, i only know about this eagle stamp;
In the game files is named as "HANKGUN" (taa~daaaaa);
.357 Magnum cal;
Could be inspired in a Ruger GP100 or maybe S&W 686? Idk, looks like a 6" barrel with polymer pistol grip;
The round headstamp normal map in the game files states "P635AC .40 RWS" or the inverse (why everything is .40 in this shit);
PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN (????)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the game files is named as "FUNFAIRSHOTGUN" and "SHOTGUN";
Probably a generic 12 gauge;
There's a deleted variation (Hunter one) from the deleted section of Pirate's Cove (last img). Got the exact same stock and pistol grip from the CZ1010;
I honestly can't pinpoint what real life gun they used as inspiration, maybe an oversized Remington 870 Marine Mag with some modifications (shorter barrel for example)? Who knows;
ROCKET LAUNCHER (RPG-7)
Tumblr media
In the game files name is "ROCKETLAUNCHER";
Pretty straightforward RPG-7. Classic. 😁🥃
MACHINE GUN (M2)
Tumblr media
In the game files is named "MACHINEGUN" (ta~daaaa), if it's the right one ofc;
.50 BMG cal;
Reminds me of a Browning M2HB;

Survival: Freelance
I thought I'd share some tips on playing the Survival: Freelance playlist. I (braddadocio/PSN) am not that great at PvP, but I was able to reach Legend rank this week and have learned some lessons in the process.
Remember that it's freelance, but you are still on a team. Stay near at least one of them and try to team-shoot. This can also surprise the other team... if you are close to a teammate, it's hard for them to distinguish between one and two people by looking at the radar.
Give your sniper(s) safe angles. If your team has a sniper, try to scout a little ahead of them to give them room and range to work.
Suros Regime is no joke. Learn to spin up (even pre-firing into a wall) for the higher-damage bottom half of the mag. I'll often pre-fire into a room near a corner where I see red ahead of me and the guy will just walk right into the spray.
Always have an exit route ready, and take it if you feel your life is at risk. If you've done some damage, that's good enough; maybe your teammate will finish the kill, but at least you saved your own life.
Stick to one class/sub-class that's working for you to gain depth of experience. You can focus on a different class/sub-class next season or non-competitive play.
Don't vary weapons too much. I mostly stuck to Suros/Mindbenders (talking about season 10 here, where auto-rifles are strong). Every now and then, I'd try something else if a match wasn't working well, but always went back to the default loadout for a new match.
Know who the team leader is. The first round of a match is always interesting, and you can usually tell if your team has a leader or not. Sometimes it's you! If it isn't, and your third is struggling, maybe shadow them to safeguard them while the leader player takes care of themselves. If you are at the bottom of roster on kills, play for your life first, and team-shoot with the guy at the top of the roster.
Try to keep the surprise element at all times. If your opponent doesn't know where you are, then you are at an advantage. But, once you shoot your weapon or throw a grenade, you're sure to be on their radar, so unless you're about to get a pick or in a situation where you are three fighting one or two, retreat and approach from a different place. I find a lot of success from getting one kill, then immediately retreating and getting cover to angle for the next attack. It's rare to get 2-3 kills all from one spot, unless you're using a super or a power weapon, so don't outstay your welcome.
Be mindful of lives remaining. For Survival, this is key for both your team and the opposing team. If the round timer runs out and the lives counter isn't equal for both sides, the round is given to the side with the most remaining lives ("Life Advantage" rule). A team can be taken off guard by this; I see it happen often in 2v3 games. If your team is up by 2+ lives and there's only a minute remaining, you're better off playing passively for that last minute since the pressure is on the opposing team to bridge the gap. But if the other team has a life advantage, press for eliminating it before the timer gets you.
Don't get outnumbered. If you're flanking and on your own, wait for an opportunity to get a pick, and ideally only engage with a single player. Team shots can take you out quickly.
Keep mental notes on player positions. This is difficult, but important. Use your radar to help if you don't have visuals on the enemy (and your team is clearly indicated on the radar, or the HUD). You're tracking where 2+ players are and where the single player is. If you can position yourself to take out the single player (ideally with a team mate), your odds are better than taking on two players by yourself. Whenever you find yourself outnumbered, retreat to safety and engage from another position.
Listen for kill audio cues. Enemy kills are crucial to Survival progress. Taking out a player makes it easier to push forward and clean up. One kill can become two or three very quickly. But this goes both ways. If a team mate falls, and you were their backup, better to retreat and seek another team mate than to engage further.
Don't play too passively. If your team mates are being aggressive, you probably should too. They are putting themselves at risk, and moreso if you aren't there to help decrease that risk. Don't spend half the round crouch-walking to position yourself if your team's life counter is draining.
Wait for team mates. If you are killed and respawn, don't rush back into another fight until you have company. So many times I play with blueberries that do this: they die and respawn, then I die and respawn shortly after. Instead of them waiting for me, they rush off to die again. If two or more on your team die, just take a breath and regroup before rushing back into battle.
Keep a log of your progress. I kept weekly and daily progress notes. For a given day of play, I'd track each match result in terms of win/loss and points gained/lost. At the end of the day, I'd summarize those in terms of total games played, total games won, total games lost, and number of Glory points gained or lost. It was helpful to review and see my progress. You can also use this log to monitor how many points you can "gamble" by playing another match. If you've had good progress and met a goal you have for that day (also a good practice), then maybe it'd be better to stop and not risk losing points. If you haven't met your goal, then you can keep going unless you're feeling burnt out. Your progress log can help you make those decisions.
Review your mistakes. If you lose a game, take some time to think about how you could have played better. What did the other team do that made them more effective? Try to focus on how you could have turned it in to a win versus blaming the other players you were matched with. You can also save the video and review it. At the very least, this bit of reflection gives you time to cool before you try another match.
Review your best moments. Some games will be amazing-- you'll make all the right moves. Save those videos and post them to YouTube or Twitch. Share them with your clan. It's encouraging to re-watch those shining moments, especially after a losing streak.
Keep your momentum going. If you've been working on rank score, be sure to play the minimum 3 games per week to not decline in score (at least, once you reach Mythic, rank can decay). And you'll get a bit of extra Glory rank (until you hit Mythic) at reset for your trouble.
And here's a few "don'ts":
Don't leave a match. Even if you are losing 0-3, don't ever leave a match. Even if someone else has left your team, don't leave. (I have actually won a match or two where it became a 2v3 game, and the other player and I were at an avantage because the player that left was draining our life pool so quickly and so we had more lives to spare after they left.)
Don't ever suicide intentionally. I've been in a couple of games where the skill gap between teams was enough that it caused someone on the losing side to think: "well, we aren't going to win, so I might as well make this loss go faster" and they started jumping off the map as much as they could. That is horrible, and there should be temporary ban penalties applied to players who throw a match like that.
Don't die with your super. Do your best to use your super before you can't at all. Personally, I let this happen too often since I run bubble Titan and tend to save the bubble for a capture flag situation, but when you're at round 3 and the enemy has no lives left, it's time to go on offense.
I don't consider myself better than average for PvP... my survival K/D is 0.95 or something, which is decent but not amazing. But with some smarts, you can still play well and get your match win rate high enough to keep your progress going. You can find some of my survival videos on my Crucible playlist on YouTube. It's been a fun season and I'm looking forward to doing it again in season 11!
Good luck!

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online - Episode 10
Okay, I think my system has settled enough to get to work. It’s Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, episode 10! Here we GO!
-So LLENN is trying to get back to the mags, and Fukaziroh has to be the voice of reason. Fukaziroh. A Bullet Line centers on LLENN’s fucking skull, and is this the—
-Gunfire peppers off from another direction, and the Line swings away. She’s got a moment. She’s got confusion. She can use confusion! Fuka, suppressive booms, NOW. Out goes the spread, helping force team Memento Mori’s retreat…
-When it all settles, LLENN’s able to get those mags, and have a moment with the Boss. Eva’s wanting to take those bastards down…But first, she’d really like a duel with you, LLENN.
-…That has to wait. LLENN’s all uncertain about admitting it, but Fukaziroh just lays it all out. You know crazy-pants Pitohui yeah? She’s got some kinda suicide pact thing if she doesn’t win this or lose to LLENN in specific sooooooo hold your giant muscular horses. Eva takes that in, and…Karen-san, tell her what’s the deal here. Please.
-Opening!
-Cut to a green-haired girl sprinting through the battlefield…She was there when the rest of her team made an offer to work with Pito. Real-life hunters, cool, calm and professional, and willing to work for Pito and take solid second place, let her take the win. Greenhair, a pacifist in GGO, was the one objector…Pito agreed to a quick ceasefire for equal retreat…Then shot them all in the back of their fucking heads. The only one to escape was Green, who Pito saw as not even worth wasting a bullet on…
-Back in the now, Green knows exactly what she’s dealing with. She saw the look in Pito’s eyes. Some people get hesitant about hurting players in GGO, focusing on monsters. Some separate it from reality, letting the unreality of the game cover our baseline instincts. But Pito…Pito had the look of someone who was doing neither. The eyes of a killer.
-Someone like that…She has to stop them. Alone in the frozen North, she summons in her rifle…
-While Pito loads up with full kit. Everything she brought in. Pistols, armor, a sawed-off and a big beefy rifle with a drum mag…It’s time to get to work.
-Episode 10! “The Devil’s Comeback”
-Back at the Dome, the scan comes in, and LLENN sees just how fucked the situation is…She also gets word that the Machine Gun Lovers are down. Team T-S must’ve gotten them, with their fancy power armor…And KKHC still has their leader in the game…With PM4, SHINC, and MMTM, they’re down to six teams. This is a real tricky mess.
-While Eva rallies her crew. They’re going to strip PM4 down. Actually beating them isn’t gonna be easy, but they can do some real damage…
-And M watches them come in. He’s going to get on the big gun and do some long range sniping, which leaves Pito bored…SHINC spots him taking cover, and realize what they’re dealing with. A man doesn’t deploy his shield unnecessarily. He’s got a gun worth firing from this kind of range.
-He’s also got backup, as they start moving in…Eva pegs it as something anti-materiel. And they’re going to be working against real snipers, with no Bullet Lines. Be ready!
-M starts calling orders…And Eva does the same! NOW! CHARGE!
-They start moving in alternating groups, relying on sheer speed and constant changing up. At this distance, they have to lead those shots hard, and that means steady chaos. Doesn’t matter how accurate a man is if he can’t aim where you are or where you’ll be.
-M cooks a plan of feinting, letting his backup put out some Bullet Lines to force reactions…And it works, as Anna dodges the first shot, only to be fed into the seconding! She splits the fuck in half, losing all her HP in one go!
-But it’s not over. They’re inside of a mile. They’re moving fast. And they’re forcing M to waste a lot of ammo. They’re able to start getting into cover, close enough to use the rolling hills…They shouldn’t be able to work closely enough…But then Sophie spawns in a big rifle, clambers up onto a rock, and kneels…
-A shot hits clean in her head, but her body stays upright…And a shot comes in HARD from behind her, enough to shred a panel off of M’s shield! It splits his backup sniper’s head clean open, knocking him down hard! A fucking anti-tank rifle, a weapon too unwieldy to be used in normal combat…
-Which is why Kana came up with the sacrificial lamb plan. To turn her body into a wall. Sophie gave herself up. So Toma’s on the gun, unleashing their secret technique…The Anti-M ultimate weapon! EAT THIS!
-M’s shield loses another panel, as he desperately tries to counter…But nothing he can do can actually pierce Sophie’s body. If he can’t shoot past it…Toma locks in another round, and both snipers fire as one, their massive bullets passing each other…M’s hits Sophie dead center, while Toma’s shreds the last of his shield and the .50 cal! M is forced to abandon his kit entirely, running away…
-As Toma lets out a war cry! They’ve torn M’s shield apart! The sniper is de-shelled! It was all thanks to you, Sophie!!!
-Now it’s time to push in! They abandon the rifle and start pushing forward, as M takes up a spot with some half-decent cover and a lesser sniper rifle. They’re planning something. He just can’t figure out what, as he glances Tanya hard enough to force her to the dirt…
-But it’s too late for PM4. Because now it’s go time. LLENN, NOW!
-Their plan, was simple. A pincer strike between scans. Eva agreed immediately to help, refusing to let this go down the way Pito wanted. No deaths, not today. GGO is for fun, for teamwork and for the joy of battle. Not for loss and grief.
-So back in the Now. Fuka, bombardment! Fukaziroh dumps smoke and explosions in, and LLENN races in at full force…Only to catch a glint of a scope! Green’s in position, and she fires, unaware of how much this will fuck her up if she ever knows the consequences…The bullet hits before Pito can react, piercing her through and dropping her down!
-And then Green eats a burst from LLENN, who veered off and came in a moment too late.
-Down in the grass, M catches Pito before all her HP can drain, slamming a medkit into her. She was shot square through the eye, and yeahhhhh she’s having a mental breakdown as he pumps HP into her…M sobs, and sobs….But when it stops. She’s at one HP. She’s still alive. And she’s totally cracked, as M tries to get through to her, tries to get her to call it off…
-She’s not listening. She’s not listening at all. And that’s when the grunts realize, she should have disconnected. Every safety system in the world, every bit of post-SAO incident tech, is made specifically to prevent you from…
-She’s not on post-SAO tech.
-Somehow, somewhere, she got her hands on one of the old kits. Which are supposed to be banned, presumably on both ends. How the fuck did she even get a NerveGear to connect to GGO?!
-M’s got to start pulling them in for the cabin, as Eva can confirm Pito survived…Somehow. You can get in there and end this, LLENN. But it’s your call.
-…Full force. Tear PM4 apart! That, is, their, mission!
-But they’re not alone…MMTM is moving in with a full set of jeeps seeing their opportunity! It’s a final clash! YOU MOTHER FUCKERS! Pito is out cold, her HP slowly refilling…As one of the grunts comes to talk to M. He knows he’s just here to be quiet and follow orders…But boss-man, how far are you willing to go to protect her?
-As far as he has to.
-Roger that. Lock in. They’re going to hold the staircase, with their bodies if they have to. Safe travels and good shooting, boss-man. May they meet again on another battlefield.
-MMTM arrives, to find a grunt stepping out…With every grenade they have. Good day, gentleman. He pulls a pin and leaps forward, taking some of them with him as the bottom of the stairwell collapses. Second grunt is in with a shotgun, only to eat it too, and the last holds the line with just his fucking sidearm and a heavy trunk to block the path…
-While up top, M kisses Pito…And arms a grenade.
-What’s left of MMTM get up there in time to hear the kaboom…And to start dying in swaths, first by gunfire, then shotgun blasts, then a fucking lightsaber.
-Funny story.
-True story!
-GGO actually has melee weapons! They’re rare, they’re powerful, and barely anyone knows how to use one in this world of guns…But they exist. And Pito is armed with that deadly Photon Sword, as she steps through the rubble…
-Credits!
