The movie my cousin Philip Ng 伍允龍 is in is coming to the US/North America Aug. 9! (In this trailer he's the guy who introduces himself with a gleeful "HALLO!", catches the metal bar with his teeth, cackles while wielding double pistols, gives a thumbs up, etc.) And he's getting praised in Hong Kong and Mainland China as the breakout; they're comparing him to the Joker. People are even making fanart of him 😭
Jackie Chan and "big brother" Sammo Hung hanging out on set between takes.
Based on Jackie's wardrobe, I'm going to guess this photo is of behind the scenes during the making of Dragons Forever (1988). This was the last of six films starring Jackie, Sammo, and Yuen Biao, another "brother" of theirs. The three were known collectively as the Three Dragons, and were incredibly popular due to their comedic timing and amazing chemistry on screen.
In “The 18 Gold Darts” (1966), the first three boys in this image from the left became famous: Sammo Hung, Kong San Chan (better known as Jackie Chan) is the second from left, and the third from left is Yuen Biao. When they were actors and producers in Hong Kong, the three were known as Oldest Brother, Middle Brother, and Little Brother respectively.
