So I'm writing a fic about Hanara's pre-wedding henna party for KTAW Day 1, and thought I'd put up their outfits and henna designs in a separate post:
Hana:
(sources for henna: Pic 1 is from this article on ShaadiWish and Pic 2 from the deiasgallery Insta account)
Hana is dressed in a blush pink takchita with ornate floral designs for the henna party (source: Moroccan Glam). The designs for her henna are more floral and flowy, taking inspiration from desi mehndi designs more popular in her mother's home Bethulia.
Kiara:
Kiara is wearing a traditional green and gold caftan with vine and leaf designs in gold embroidery. She also wears a long gold net veil over her hair. Her henna also reflects the Moroccan style of henna design, particularly the Fessi tradition from her grandfather's home town of Fes.
You will notice if you look closely that the name of the spouse (in Pic 2) is in a small box directly below the pinky finger. Which is why it's far easier for Hana to find her name on Kiara's henna.
Dress Source: Pintrest

Pic 2: Mehndi by Ramiya
Henna Candle Set:
Source for this design from the BySoor FB page.
I will be reimagining that the gold design in this set as rose gold instead, but with the pinks and purples being a bit brighter to match the metal design. Hana and Kiara's names are written on different candles.
Some of Kiara's cousins organize the party, so here are four of them that feature in the fic:
Nour Hakmoun - Asmâa Hamzaoui (FC, top left)
Nissrine Hakmoun - Aicha Hamzaoui (top right)
Imane Boussou - Houdaa Founou (bottom left)
Fatimazahra Elmeliji - Imaan Hammam (bottom right).
Soraya El-Baz (the henna artist) - Yousra Mansour

In a world that's becoming increasingly conscious of environmental impact, it's time for weddings to take on a green hue. indian wedding, known for their grandeur, can also be a source of significant waste. Opt for local and seasonal flowers for your wedding decor. Not only do they add a touch of freshness, but choosing local blooms also minimizes the carbon footprint associated with transporting flowers over long distances. Consider repurposing decor items or donating them to reduce waste further.
