I'm not very familiar with sm boy groups or nct, but I know that idols shouldn't be mistreated. Xenophobia isn't acceptable. Mental & physical abuse isn't acceptable. No matter who I stan. I'd want their help if the situation was reversed.

We’re not asking for much, but for SM to do their job and have their staff treat their ARTISTS with some RESPECT.

Therefore, in retaliation we have decided to unfollow SM official accounts on all social media platforms in an effort to drop stock/have an effect that actually hurts the company directly, not the artists. This has been done before with Exo-Ls and has WORKED.

What we have witnessed SM staff do:

-not let him talk about winwin

-told him to shut up about his vacation in a different vlive

-told him to switch seats just so chenji could sit together

-left him out in the rain without telling him anything, he was ALONE and cold and wet and visibly upset

NCTzens Furious at NCT Dream Manager

Fans of NCT are furious with SM’s management after member Renjun’s mistreatment. 

The debacle first started with a VLive featuring Renjun, Chenle, and Jisung, where Renjun was reprimanded for talking about his vacation and fellow member Winwin. The clip was then edited out of the reupload. 

Following a recent music show performance, Renjun was then left alone under the rain with no transportation—the van with the manager and other NCT Dream members was supposedly full. 

Since then, allegations of the same manager harassing Jeno have also cropped up. 

Fans have been trending #SM_아티스트대우_개선해 to show support for Renjun. 

What are your thoughts on the situation?

SM need to fire all of the management who couldn’t treat their artist right. This could hurt them physically or mentally.

guys u don’t have to feel useless n like u cant do anything w the nct situation bc it’s getting bigger now n there’s more ways for u to get involved. if u have twitter PLEASE use this hashtag: #SM_아티스트대우_개선해 along with the pic of this woman bc she’s the one who took renjuns umbrella and seat in the van and made him walk around in the rain searching for a car, told him to shut up in vlives and generally mistreats him and ALLEGEDLY is very touchy with jeno. she’s the main issue rn. although there’s other shitty managers, getting her fired would improve things for the dreamies and possibly bring sms attention to other managers that mistreat the members. if this gets big enough we may get lucky n this issue may get big enough fr sm to release a statement about this and seriously start looking into all of ncts managers. also, i would suggest contacting sm directly especially if you speak korean (they don’t take international complaints as seriously as complaints from korean fans) and complaining abt their mistreatment and demanding for whatever managers that mistreat nct to be fired, but specifically THIS ONE.

guess who back for another rant? me.

i know a lot of people are angry about renjun’s mistreatment. i am beyond mad. renjun being mistreated by his own manager has gone too far. i have many things to say about this woman.

first of all, you’re a manager miss thing. in case you forgot, your job is to make sure your clients or in this case artists are safe and secure when taking them to and from a venue. you are responsible for these artists and when something goes wrong, you are to blame (or maybe the artist in some cases). if you can’t do your job properly, you should’ve never been hired in the first place. as someone who’s studying business management, i have to say, your clients are your number one priority.

second, as a manager, you can not ditch your artist by prioritising yourself and take his seat while he is left alone IN THE RAIN without an umbrella expecting him to find his way back home. he looked as if he was gonna break down to tears. the poor boy just wants to go home and rest. at least he had his phone so he could call for transport cause god knows what will happen if he didn’t have it with him. also the fact that you took his umbrella and then left him was so immature of you - it’s like you want him to get a fever.

according to almost everyone who talked about this situation, you are the same manager who told renjun to shut up when he was talking about his vacation. renjun was so excited to talk about his jeju island vacation and even showed a photo and you had the audacity to tell him to shut up about it. homeboy looked so upset and hasn’t spoken much for the duration of the video. we would love to know more about his vacation but i guess not since your dumbass entitled self told him to stfu.

you also told him to stop mentioning winwin as if he doesn’t exist (and yes i understand the china-korea law thing) and told him to switch seats with jisung so that he would sit next to chenle. you kept shouting at him for talking about the most simple things in life. that’s almost like stripping away human rights.

here is when we get 100 times more serious.

[TRIGGER WARNING: sexual harassment]

on top of that a lot of fans saying that jeno could a victim of sexual harassment. now take this with a grain of salt because nothing is confirmed as of now but rumor or not, no one deserves to be sexually harassed by anyone. according to a jeno fansite she “was not able to control her own loving hands” when around him. some people said that the sentence was although misinterpreted, still meant that she was not doing what she’s meant to be doing. she took renjun’s seat so she could apparently grope jeno and take advantage of his vulnerability.

jeno has definitely spoken up about protecting his group from the sexualisation of older fans. yet he’s the one being styled in clothes that revealed his body, was being groped by two grown men on a variety show and is possibly being harassed by his own manager. he does not like being sexualised and he definitely did not give consent. he’s only 19 years old, let him enjoy his life.

whether this rumor is true or not, we do not tolorate that behavior anywhere. like i said, no one deserves to be treated that way or be sexualised in any other way ever. that behavior is disgusting and immature. yes while sexual harassment claims are serious claims, we don’t know what really happened unless someone speaks up from sm’s side. considering that this is sm, they will most likely either investigate or brush it under the rug.

by trending #SM_아티스트대우_개선해 on social media platforms, we can get the company to bring light to this situation and do something about it. by unsubscribing and unfollowing their platforms, it can also alert them due to loss of stakeholders and stocks dropping (cause money motivates people).

renjun didn’t leave his family in china, just so that his manager could mistreat him. jeno didn’t give up his childhood so that the manager could apparently take advantage of him.

sm please respect your idols.

we shouldn’t even ask but we all thought you’ve learnt from your mistakes. i guess not.
