And we are living to meet this end someday, isn't? For me death is welcoming and beginning.. And I have read this book, which I find worthy of mentioning here with this intense topic, DEATH. ~BOOK REVIEW~ WINTER POEMS by @authorsabarna I generally live reading poetry and am always amazed by the various experimental writing styles of the authors/ poets. I read this book with 60 pages full of experiments, different perspectives and much more. The poems are soo much drenched with love, affection, care that I do not have words to express. The themes of death and life struck me somewhere in the heart. I am completely mesmerized by the thought of how deep the poets imagination is. It's totally commendable. Winter as a season is dry and rough for many and so is life of people, drawing a comparison between the two gets me drooling over my life and how dull it is these days. The imagery, metaphors, smilies are all very intense and deep rooted in the poets imagination. Not for a moment I felt out of place. Reading and re-reading the entire book twice gave me sense of belonging to the poems. I loved the book immensely. Also, the language is quite easy, both to read and understand. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 📚 Book Review Title : Etchings of the First Quarter of 2020 Author : Sabarna Roy Language : English Edition : Paperback Pages : 102 💫 The book is written by a well known and famous author Sabarna Roy. He has already written five books under his name and Etchings of the first quarter of 2020 is his sixth book. The book is the collection of letters, ideas, conversations and poems. 💫 The letter from a step father to his step daughter was quite lovely. It really touched me. The way the letter was started from ductile iron pipelines to Literary Meet and then back to his personal message for his daughter, it was truly commendable. He tried to pour his heart out in the letter. Further he invites his daughter to The Park for a coffee session it sounds very lovely. 💫 The first section of the book contains a letter written by a step father to his step daughter and advises her to visit and explore Kolkatta. The second section of the book contains a second letter which he writes to a lady named Suranjana in regardance to the seminar 'Dark Parts in Mind.' The third section of the book expresses the conversation between the step daughter and step father over a coffee. The fourth section contains a collection of poems across different topics. 💫 The author has an excellent style of writing. The flow of his words gives us a new experience. In short we can call him a magician of words. I am a big fan of his poetry and prose. I have attended several of his interviews and live sessions. His recitations are terrific. 💫 It was a delightful read. The book is short with just 71 pages but heavy content wise. The writing style is quite rare, with a combination of two topics discussed side by side while writing the letter. The language used is lucid which is easy to understand. The cover of the book is beautiful and soothing.
