ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Professional Fighters League (PFL) finished off their inaugural regular season schedule with a 10-bout card from Ocean Resort and Casino. With seven playoff seeds up for grabs the action did not disappoint. Of the seven fights with playoff implications, six ended in stoppages, propelling the victors into the post-season.

“The fighters continue to impress me every time they step into the cage,” said PFL President of Fighting Operations Ray Sefo. “The fighters showed the kind of heart and determination we hoped they would when we came up with this league format. To watch them bring it the way they did with so much on the line was so exciting for me.”   

In the main event Smealinho Rama defied belief with his last second win over rugged challenger Jamie Abdallah. The two light heavyweights traded shots as momentum swung back-and-forth over the first two rounds. Rama squeaked into the playoffs as the 7th seed when the cage-side physician called the contest before the start of the third frame. 

Bozigit Ataev, fighting for just the third time in 12 years, turned back the clock on Sean O’Connell with a first round TKO that locked him into the 4th seed in the light heavyweight bracket. Ataev battered O’Connell from the opening bell with strikes that left the part-time broadcaster wobbled and bloody. On the strength of the five points he earned in his first regular season fight, O’Connell will be the 6th seed.

Brazilian newcomers Alexandre Bezerra and Handesson Ferreira made quite an impression in their first PFL bouts. Bezerra landed a high-light reel flying knee that ended Magomed Idrisov’s 2018 PFL campaign while Ferreira decimated Paul Bradley just 20 seconds into their win-and-get-in welterweight bout. The two first round stoppages sent both alternate fighters into the playoffs in the 5th seed. Bezerra in the featherweight bracket and Ferreira in the welterweight division.

Heavyweights Caio Alencar and Mike Kyle dueled for 15 minutes in their quest to secure a post-season berth but it wasn’t to be. Fellow heavyweight Josh Copeland’s only hope of remaining in the playoff picture was an Alencar decision win and his prayers were answered when the big Brazilian failed to finish off Kyle. Despite his decision win, Alencar is done for 2018.

Swedish striker Sadibou Sy made quick work of alternate Caio Magalhaes in their do-or-die middleweight scrap. Sy, who came up short against another Brazilian grappler in his first bout of the season was set on getting his striking game going early. It was a head-kick that started the finishing sequence but it was a flurry of pinpoint punches that ended Magalhaes night and dashed his post-season dreams. Sy will enter the playoffs as the 5th seed.

Emiliano Sordi was a late addition to the light heavyweight division but he didn’t take much time to establish himself as a playoff contender. The Argentinian blasted Jason Butcher with a series of punches that notched the TKO victory just 16 seconds into the match, the fastest knockout in PFL history. Sordi will enter the playoffs as the 5th seed.

Các diễn viên chính trong phim bao gồm Bình Minh, Angelina Raja, Ramani Raja… đã có mặt từ rất sớm để giao lưu cùng các khách mời và khán giả. Dù báo bận vì lịch trình đã sắp xếp từ trước nhưng Hồng Đào cũng đã tranh thủ thời gian, bất ngờ xuất hiện tại sự kiện, hội tụ cùng các diễn viên.

Là sự kiện được mong đợi nhất từ đầu năm đến nay, buổi ra mắt phim còn có sự góp mặt của đông đảo nghệ sĩ, diễn viên như: Kiều Chinh, Ngọc Huyền, Phương Thanh, Thúy Nga, Phùng Ngọc Huy, Khánh Huyền, Mai Thu Huyền, vợ chồng diễn viên Khánh Hiền- James Ngo, ca sĩ Đan Nguyên… Đặc biệt trong sự kiện thảm đó có sự xuất hiện của nghị viên thành phố Westminster tham dự và ông Nguyễn Mạnh Chí trao chứng nhận cho film về sự thành công tại Mỹ.

Đã lâu chưa có dịp gặp gỡ khán giả tại Mỹ, Bình Minh nhận được nhiều sự quan tâm khi xuất hiện tại sự kiện. Diện cây hồng nổi bật trong ngày công chiếu phim tại Mỹ, "con gái cưng" của Bình Minh trong phim, Angelina Raja thu hút sự chú ý với vẻ ngoài ngày càng trưởng thành và xinh đẹp. Nữ diễn viên còn khiến các khách mời và khán giả không khỏi thích thú khi ôm cún cưng cũng "ăn diện" không kém lên thảm đỏ.

Trong khi đó, nhà sản xuất kiêm diễn viên của phim, ông Ramani Raja thì diện đúng bộ trang phục trắng từng xuất hiện trong một phân cảnh phim. Ông Ramani Raja cho biết, ông đã đặt rất nhiều công sức và tâm huyết vào dự án "Sám hối". Đây là dự án cho thấy niềm đam mê mãnh liệt đối với phim ảnh cùng mong muốn đóng góp cho sự phát triển của nền điện ảnh Việt Nam.

Phim "Sám hối" sẽ được công chiếu ở nhiều quốc gia

Chia sẻ trong sự kiện, ông Ramani Raja cũng tiết lộ, sau khi công chiếu ở Mỹ, "Sám hối" sẽ tiếp tục hành trình đến với khán giả ở nhiều nước khác. Hiện tại, phim đã được mua phát hành từ các công ty ở Ấn Độ và Canada. Bên cạnh mục tiêu mang đến những sản phẩm phim ảnh chất lượng cho khán giả, ông Ramani Raja còn hướng đến việc giới thiệu phim Việt ra thị trường nước ngoài.

Đáng chú ý, bên cạnh người Việt tại Mỹ, không ít khán giả là người nước ngoài cũng quyết định mua vé xem phim "Sám hối" ngay sau khi xem trailer tại sự kiện công chiếu. Một khán giả nam người Mỹ sau khi xem phim còn hết lời khen ngợi diễn xuất chân thật và đầy cảm xúc của Bình Minh cùng Angelina Raja ở phân cảnh cùng nhau vượt qua 3 môn phối hợp.

Phim điện ảnh "Sám hối" công chiếu từ ngày 24/3/2022 trên toàn hệ thống rạp AMC tại Mỹ. Nhà sản xuất Ramani Raja đã đích thân mời những nhà làm phim nổi tiếng của nền điện ảnh Ấn Độ bao gồm đạo diễn hành động lừng danh Peter Hein, đạo diễn hình ảnh Balakrishna Thota và Dillip Kalicheti, nhạc trưởng Sam CS, dựng phim Manikandan Sivakumar để hoàn thành bộ phim.

D’après des sources de « L’As », il y avait quasiment tout le monde. Moustapha Niass, Aminata Mbengue Ndiaye, Pape Demba Sy, Cheikh Tidiane Gadio, Souleymane Ndéné Ndiaye, Robert Sagna, Souty Touré, Papa Samba Mboup, Landing Savané, Souty Touré, Farba Senghor , Abdoulaye Baldé etc.

Il s’agissait d’abord pour le chef de l’Etat de présenter des condoléances à certains de ses alliés à l’image des libéraux qui ont perdu Cheikh Sadibou Fall, mais aussi de faire le point des activités politiques et gouvernementales de la mouvance présidentielle, notamment la gestion des inondations, le dialogue politique et la Covid-19.

Sous la direction du secrétariat exécutif permanent de Benno, la réunion a duré de 18h à 23h. Une rencontre marathon qui a permis aux différents orateurs de saluer son sens d’ouverture, de lui tresser des lauriers sur sa gestion de la covid-19, mais aussi de faire le serment de continuer leur compagnonnage avec lui.

Le président de la conférence des leaders de Benno Bokk Yaakaar en a profité pour aborder les questions liées à la sécurité au Mali, mais aussi et surtout sur les inondations et les résultats de la commission du dialogue politique qui vient de boucler ses séances mercredi dernier.

Visiblement revigoré par le serment d’engagement et de loyauté renouvelé par ses alliés, Macky Sall, qui est revenu en détails sur les inondations, leur a demandé de ne pas laisser le terrain politique «aux vendeurs d’illusions qui sèment le doute dans l’esprit des Sénégalais alors que son gouvernement a fait un travail remarquable pour combattre les inondations».

Au sujet du Dialogue, il a fait le point sur les 23 accords obtenus et se dit disposé à poursuivre les pourparlers afin d’apaiser l’espace politique.
