He was born in war and he died in war
Tumblr media
“He was born in war and he died in war,” said Hani Mahmoud Qishta's cousin, cradling the corpse of the six-month-old in her arms. Hani was born on 23 October, the same day that both his parents’ lives were ended by Israeli bombs.
His father, who Hani takes his name from, was instantly killed by the Israeli air strike. Hani’s mother, eight months pregnant at the time, was severely wounded in the attack and rushed to a hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza.
“They did a caesarean section and Hani was born well. The mother died hours later,” his relative, who did not give her name, told Middle East Eye.
“His grandparents took care of him after.”
“But last night a Zionist air strike killed him, his two sisters, grandfather, grandmother and other family members,” she added.
At around 11pm on Sunday, the home of Hani’s grandfather in the al-Salam neighbourhood of Rafah was targeted by an Israeli air strike.
Several members of the Qishta family had been sheltering there. “Hani was just a baby who didn't see much of life… He looked exactly like [his] father and mother,” the relative said.
“There is also Layan Fadi Qishta, another child from the family who was killed. And Hani's two grandparents. And there was Shafi Qishta, who got married just over seven months ago in September. He was killed with his wife.”
Nine members of the Qishta family were killed in total, including four children. “They didn't get to live their childhoods and marriage to the fullest. What is their crime?” asked Hani's cousin.
“It's enough. We are tired.” Just days ago, another baby died in Gaza having been rescued from her dying mother's womb following an Israeli air strike. Sabreen al-Sakani was delivered by Caesarean section in Rafah on 21 April, after her mother was killed by Israeli bombardment. Sabreen, who weighed just 1.4kg when she was born, died four days later and was buried next to her mother.
Israel’s military pounded Rafah overnight and on Monday morning, killing at least 22 Palestinians in 11 homes across the city. It coincided with Israeli forces dropping flyers ordering displaced Palestinians to leave eastern areas of Rafah near the boundary fence separating Gaza and Israel. The flyers said the military was “about to operate with force against the terror organisations in the area”.
The forced ejection comes ahead of a planned Israeli ground invasion of Rafah, where more than one million Palestinians are sheltering in tents and makeshift homes. Israeli forces have killed at least 34,600 Palestinians since the war on Gaza began in October, the majority of them women and children, while a siege on the coastal enclave has left it on the brink of famine.

Real Estate in Saudi Arabia: A Dynamic Landscape of Opportunity
Saudi Arabia, often referred to as the "Land of Opportunity," is home to a burgeoning Real Estate Saudi sector that mirrors the nation's rapid economic development and transformation. This Middle Eastern powerhouse, known for its vast oil reserves, has been diversifying its economy, and the real estate sector plays a pivotal role in this transformation.
Economic Foundations:
The Saudi Arabian real estate market is built upon a strong economic foundation. A comprehensive plan aimed at reducing its dependency on oil, has fueled a multitude of projects and initiatives. This has not only stimulated economic growth but has also attracted domestic and international investors to the real estate market.
Residential Real Estate:
Residential real estate in Saudi Arabia is experiencing significant growth. With a rapidly expanding population and a burgeoning middle class, the demand for housing has surged. The government has taken proactive measures to meet this demand, launching initiatives like the "Sakani" program, which aims to provide affordable housing to Saudi citizens. Additionally, the development of mega-cities like NEOM and Qiddiya is expected to further drive residential real estate investments.
Commercial Real Estate:
Commercial real estate in Saudi Arabia is thriving, with Riyadh and Jeddah emerging as key business hubs. The office space market has witnessed substantial growth, driven by the establishment of various multinational companies and startups. Furthermore, the Kingdom's ambitious plans to attract foreign investments, such as the relaxation of visa rules and the creation of special economic zones, have heightened the demand for commercial properties.
Retail Sector:
The retail sector is another vibrant component of the Saudi Arabian real estate market. The Kingdom boasts a young and affluent population with a strong appetite for luxury brands and shopping experiences. As a result, shopping malls and retail centers have become focal points of investment. The Mall of Saudi, one of the largest malls in the world, is a testament to the Kingdom's commitment to fostering a thriving retail ecosystem.
Tourism and Hospitality:
Saudi Arabia is increasingly positioning itself as a global tourism destination. This shift has spurred substantial investments in the hospitality and tourism sector, leading to the development of world-class resorts, hotels, and entertainment complexes. The iconic Red Sea Project, which aims to transform the pristine coastline into a luxury tourist destination, is one such example of the nation's commitment to this sector.
Regulatory Reforms:
To encourage foreign investment and streamline the real estate sector, Saudi Arabia has implemented several regulatory reforms. The introduction of a real estate financing initiative and the creation of a comprehensive online portal for property transactions have made it easier for both local and international investors to navigate the market. These reforms have also contributed to increased transparency and investor confidence.
Challenges and Opportunities:
While the Saudi Arabian real estate sector presents immense opportunities, it also faces certain challenges. Market volatility, regulatory changes, and the global economic landscape can impact investor sentiment. Moreover, balancing supply and demand in various segments of the real estate market remains a challenge.
However, these challenges are accompanied by vast opportunities. The nation's strategic location at the crossroads of three continents, its commitment to diversification, and its economic resilience make it an attractive destination for investors seeking long-term growth and stability. The government's focus on sustainability and the incorporation of modern technologies, such as smart cities and renewable energy, further enhance the appeal of the Saudi Arabian real estate market. In conclusion, the real estate market in Saudi Arabia is a dynamic and evolving landscape. With its strong economic foundations, regulatory reforms, and commitment to diversification, the Kingdom offers a wealth of opportunities for domestic and international investors. As Saudi Arabia continues its journey towards economic transformation, the real estate sector remains a key driver of growth and prosperity, making it a compelling destination for those looking to invest in the future of the Middle East.

Fight Against Corona Virus
The spread of Corona virus is very fast. Everyone cant imagine that in just one blink of eyes the number of COVID-19 patients will turned hundreds. But what can we do to fight this pandemic?
I can still remember the day that the news about the corona virus was spread through newspapers, radios, social medias and television. I am preparing my stuffs for my training/trip  going to Baguio City. Because of my Excitement I just ignored it. I didn’t take it serious. Sabi ko pa nga, Isa pa lang naman ang confirmed case. Hindi pumasok sa isip ko na baka yung isang confirmed patient na yun may lead to hundreds of patients na nahawaan and that may be dead anytime soon kung hindi maagapan which is happening now.
I can’t explain what I really felt that time.
I immediately rushed to packed my things because I’m badly scared and badly wanted to go home. And luckily our facilitator understood what I am going through that time. She let me used their service so that I can go to the bus terminal immediately and catch the next trip going to Cubao.
Habang tulog na tulog ako sa byahe, napansin ko na may tunog ng tunog ang phone ko. When I checked it, it was my Boss calling me. Im just thinking at that moment that what if maabutan ako ng Lockdown saan ako pupulutin?. But Gods loves me, maraming tumulong saakin na makahanap ng masasakyan and nakauwi ako ng ligtas kahit inaabot pa ng 16 hours yung byahe.
When I got home in Bicol, I observed the 14 days self quarantine in our home. Yes, sobrang nakakalungkot knowing that I really missed my family but yet I need to distance from them because maybe I got infected by the Virus but no symptoms yet. I need to wait for almost 14 days before I can hug them, talk with them and hang out with them. I need to isolate and locked myself in my bedroom for 14 days. It is one of the simpliest thing that we can do to prevent the spread of CORONA VIRUS. To observed Self/Home Quarantine for 14 days when you have the travel history outside of your region or even the counctry.
The next thing is, we need to wash our hands always even though naka quarantine tayo or nakaisolate. Para kahit papaano mabawasan ang chances na mabuhay ang virus sa katawan natin and syempre we need to be clean as always. Performed the proper hygiene.
I always wear face mask during my quarantine period in our house, why? because I am still in the 14 days quarantine and we cant guarantee that I don’t have the virus.
With this simple things, we can prevent the spread the virus. We need to follow the Government. Marami ang maliligtas na mga kababayan natin sa simpling pagsunod mo.
I am proud to say that I am in my 10th day of self quarantine, why? because I know that with this simple act I know that I already save my family, friends and community with the possible spread of the virus if I really had. Oo malungkot, sobrang nakakalungkot. Nakakababa siya minsan ng self-esteem kasi nilalayuan ka nila pero syempre we have to be strong and dont forget to pray for the healing and safety of everyone especially our Fronliners.
Everyone, keep your faith in God, dont stop praying because I know someday, the spread of this virus will be stop soon. Very soon we just need to believe with him.

Why We Should Continue to Invest in Dubai
Dubai has been buffeted by the winds of change in recent months. Ill winds they were too, bearing no good tidings for those who had invested in real estate. As projects were stopped in mid-stream, thousands of workers and expatriates left the emirate in haste. Ancillary industries such as entertainment, shopping, dining and other have also felt the hit of this change. More realistic sellers in real estate have realized that they would have to lure buyers by offering easier installments or rents or prices to let deals get through.
Al Raee Real Estate
Now that the Dubai World debt issue has been settled for the time being, attention is once again directed to the uncompleted structures of this sky city. By recent estimates, some 67 percent of projects have resumed and are ongoing in the emirate, while the remaining suffer from neglect, mismanagement, lack of capital or worse. It will definitely be in the Government and Dubai's interest if these projects were resumed as well. The banking sector needs to create a favorable climate so that credit is easier to get and funds can once again be borrowed and applied towards the completion of projects. In some cases, mergers or acquisitions may be necessary among real estate firms to get the required strength in finance or management in order to carry on.
Others have noted that some firms are disillusioned with the way the emirate has handled the Dubai World issue, and are shifting operations to Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah, Qatar and Bahrain- where they see conditions as more stable and greater protection and profits for their investment. Indeed there are those who think that Dubai has over invested in just one or two principal areas- like hotels and convention centers- and think that with the oversupply all in one place, there will be high competition and a dilution of profits in the future. There certainly appears to be some logic in this contention. One does not need to actually count the number of developmental properties in this area to see that there is definitely an oversupply of some magnitude.
The Asia-Asia Hotel project itself is rumored to have 6500 rooms- and if that is only one hotel, what about the others? One does not really see Dubai as a convenient location for an international stopover by tycoons and corporate businesses. That said, it just may function as a good convention center. Dubai definitely has all the technology, administration and infrastructure to function as an offshore convention center for international and regional conferences. But beyond that it is questionable whether investment will continue to flow in. Foreigners who came in to Dubai on a three year visa and invested in the emirate as a summer location away from home have been in for a rude shock, or series of shocks as the value of their investment has been constantly diluted by recent events. Some will undoubtedly look to recoup their investment when the market comes up in 2011 and are looking to get out then.
At the moment, rental property in Dubai is highly affordable as the exodus of migrant workers in the last wave has shocked owners into more reasonable offers. To rent apartment Dubai or rent property Dubai is the easiest thing to do with Dubai property these days. What is more challenging is finding villas to rent in Dubai in terms of rental property in Dubai as these demand some of the highest rates.
All this leaves the Government and the private sector with no option than to make conditions more amenable for investment in Dubai Holiday Rental or Dubai Real Estate. If they have a comprehensive plan with zoning so that population in one large area is served by the shops and establishments in that area, then no one would have to go very far for the daily conveniences of life. Respect for human and property rights and enactment of laws are needed if investment is to be attracted to real Estate in Dubai. Apart from sales and purchases of Dubai Beach Property, the future of UAE Real Estate is at best uncertain at the present time. Visit this website:- http://alraee.com.sa/

5. If you suddenly found a dragon in the middle of a forest, what would be your first reaction?  Knowing me it would probably be like WHOA??? POG??? HOLY SHIT??? I would probably not assume it to be a real dragon at first but I would end up talking to it one way or the other as if it could
17. What's your oldest stuffed animal/plushy that you still own? On me, I believe it would be either my ladybug pillow pet or Sakani! The pillow pet is maybe 6 ish years old but I have no dating on that; I think it was actually originally my little sister’s, but I don’t know what came of my pillow pet from that purchase and most of the plushies I used toown went to my sister (which is why I don’t have any older ones) so I think it’s fair I got the ladybug. She’s a good size and texture to hold when I wanna cling to something more firm than my primary cuddly plushies (my big squishy seal and Zodiac)
Sakani is currently MIA actually but they should be somewhere in my room or the surrounding lands. They’re actually three plushies shoved together into a chimera -- I got three cheap snake plushies from an arcade I went to for a friend’s birthday in what I believe was April of 2016, making Sakani going on 5 years old, and I sewed them all together very poorly. They were badly made and Sakani was badly constructed so they’re all a little worse for wear but they have been good to me
