@maskedmuses (Plotted: Eugene + Landon)
Shadows curve softly around the prominent line of his jaw where he stands beneath the silver glimmer of translucent windows that makes the dark fabric of his shirt look dewy in contrast and the golden glow of buzzing, flaxen lights that drapes over sandy locks - gloved hands resting loosely upon his hips. His posture lax against old, rundown bricks that smell like a mixture of salt, must, and smoke - stains seeping into their cracks and onto the pavement below that could have just as easily come from spilled coffee as they could have from dripping blood. The color too old and much too dark to make any sense of - much like the rest of the building that loomed above them - blocking out bright lights and flashing signals. The paint upon their walls that faces the street immaculate while its sides, the ones facing him, was filled with nothing but flaking chips and holes. The constant hum of the city spilled out from the sidewalk and car horns blared at pedestrians for taking too long to cross the street - taxi drivers hanging out of cracked windows and drunken men stumbling out of bars to mill about the streets. At this hour, it was nothing unusual - things were always lively here - in more ways than one.
“You should be careful where you venture.” His voice is smooth as velvet and, despite the drum of rushed footsteps, idle chatter, and ringing phones, can be heard load and clear against darkened, milky skies. The dead, whether they intended to search for him or not, were naturally attracted to the presence of a Reaper - a calling, of sorts, he supposed to weed out those who should not still be in this world. Who, like them, had ceased to belong within the confines of humanity. Though, this situation does seem a bit unusual - he’s acutely aware of the dead, it’s a natural...perk, he supposes, of his position. And he has always been a particularly vindictive person - it’s in his nature. His very blood one could even argue. But that doesn’t necessarily make him cruel - even if he often gambles with the lives of humans without their knowledge or will for the sake of something they are more than likely incapable of handling. “It’s not always safe in the dark.”
He pushes himself away from the wall he had been leaning on - this alley smells of rotten take-out, gasoline, and death. It leaves a bitter taste upon his tongue as boots scrape soundlessly against pavement more shattered than the glass of wine that drops from the clumsy fingers of the man who stumbles out of the nearby bar. Tiny, budding blades of grass falling beneath his heels as discarded plastic crumbled against their soles. Even the rattle of his shirt as he moves is silent - little more than a breathless whisper upon the wind when compared to the cacophony of voices that ring out both around them and nowhere them because people prefer to keep to themselves. They huddle into the tiny bubble they build up around their bodies to shelter them from harm and blame and continue on with their lives. They don’t often take notice of what happens outside of the meager space they take up.
Tumblr media
He comes to stand behind the boy, hand moving to hover a finger beneath his chin. “And you should be mindful of who meet at night.” It’s a warning more than it is a threat despite how his lips seem to tug upwards as the words fall from his tongue. “With that aside, you’ve found yourself in a rather unusual situation, haven’t you?” He lowers his hand and straightens himself out - eyes almost glittering in the darkened fog of the sky that hangs over the city. There’s not hostile in the air about him, but he is unsettlingly, even more so those who would have awareness of the supernatural - death seems to both hang over him and flock to him. “Why not tell me about it? Perhaps I can be of assistance. And I do suggest you tell me the truth, lying might not go over well for you.”

I don’t really like any of Clear’s songs (except for the Jellyfish Song) because Kanato Itou’s English is rather grating. I like pretty much all of Mink’s songs.

Vampire Ignis
Hellooooo, Vampire Iggy.
If you read Incubus Prompto, you may be able to tell that these two belong to the same sort of world. Gladio’s story will be next and also is a part of this story.
Hope you enjoy.
XXX
The Old City had been avoided since in the Awakening, as it had come to be known. Everyone knew the story of how King Noctis had reappeared after ten years, taken his warrior best friends with him to stop the darkness and bring back the light to all of Eos. It was a fairytale that stemmed from the truth.
Insomnia had lain in ruins for decades since the Awakening. There had been small attempts to save the city, the capitol of the Lucian Kingdom, but after several failed attempts at any sort of progress the ruins were abandoned. It was a sad, haunting reminder of what had actually happened all those years ago.
Archaeology had not been where you had planned to end up in college, but there you were at the edge of the broken wall looking ahead at all the remains of the once brimming Insomnia. You had worked closely with a professor to uncover any kind of information that could shed new light on the Awaking and after the ancient tombs and texts, you had made your way here. Your professor, like every other sane person, had not wanted to risk a venture into the ruins. Hell, very few had ever gone into the city and returned. In fact, you were doing this without anyone knowing your plans – other than a very worried roommate who agreed not to sound the alarm as long as they heard from you every hour.
Armed with a camera, trowel, and a pistol, you took a deep breath before carefully descending into the city.
Taking pictures to document each of the details you could see, you moved slowly and carefully forward. Some of the rubble bore spray painted insignias and names – evidence of the vandals that usually went missing. There was also evidence of looting in a few somewhat intact buildings but now everything lay covered in a solid layer of dust. More than once, you stopped to inspect a strange substance dried onto the stone or cracked pavement. Each time, you snapped a photo and pushed forward trying to convince yourself it was anything other than blood. Your path had taken you well into the center of the city when what remained of a gleaming, black building caught your attention even through the heavy coating of grime and dust that covered the ruins.
“The Citadel,” you breathed aloud in wonder. Even in its fragmented and ruined form, you could picture its majesty with ease. If the stories were to be believed, than that was where King Noctis had made his last stand. And it was where his warriors had perished in the final battle. If there was anywhere left that could share some light on the story of the Awakening and the return of the sun, you would find it there.
The sun had already begun its descent by the time you reached the Citadel ruins. With time working against you, you wasted no time in finding a way inside and praying to the Six that something might be left inside that could be of some use to your search.
The beauty and craftsmanship of the building was evident despite the ruined state as you snapped picture after picture. The portion of the building that had survived seemed stable and sturdy so you didn’t worry about the stairs being able to hold you. Finally, you pushed open a rotten wooden door to reveal a perfect view of the evening sky and the landscape beyond the ruins of Insomnia. The remains of a throne stood sentry as if attempting to protect the ruined kingdom and all that remained of the capitol. The view was breathtaking.
Snapping a few pictures of the room, you moved closer. Careful of the crumbling steps, you reached what remained of the throne where an elaborate sword was driven into the back. A stain ran from where the sword had pierced the back of the throne to the once cushioned seat. Without thought, you gasped and stepped back. Your hands covered your mouth at the realization of who had died there.
“Tragic, isn’t it?”
Another gasp left you as you turned toward the voice. A young man, probably in his early thirties, stood a few stairs beneath you in the shadow of one of the remained walls. His accent was old, something not very common and unfamiliar to you. His sandy brown hair had been styled back from his face in a vintage fashion, though several rogue strands escaped to hand into his eyes. One was a beautiful, vibrant see green while the other was a milky white. The scaring over his eyes appeared as though he had been blinded, though now both eyes bore into you with clarity. His height allowed him to look into your own eyes though he stood several stairs down from you.
“Who are you?” You swallowed and studied his clothing looking for any indication as to how screwed you were. His plain black pants and button-up were stylish and well-fitting but gave away nothing as to his identity. “Where did you come from?”
A crooked smirk pulled at one corner of his mouth as the stranger blinked. You noticed he held a pair of glasses in his hand toying with the arms though he seemed to have no use for them. “My name is Ignis Scientia, brave archaeologist. And I imagine with that bit of information that you can discern the rest.”
Ignis Scientia. The name rattled around in your head as the semesters of research poured back through your brain. Retainer. Strategist. Warrior. Crownsguard. Friend. The Ignis Scientia of history held many titles and was always described as a man of manner and refinement. He was one of the three that accompanied the young Prince from Lucis. He was wounded at the battle of Altissa and lost his sight. He became a very skilled daemon hunter after the prince had disappeared and had lain down his life to allow his King time enough to save the world. He had died centuries ago and while this man did resemble the few surviving depictions of him, There was no way he was Ignis Scientia.
“I can see the disbelief on your face, little one. I give you my word, I speak the truth. Though, I’m not certain what weight the word of a “dead man,” he used air quotes to emphasize his words, “might hold.”
Uncertain, your mind circled back. “How do you know I’m an archaeologist? Did you follow me?” You had tried to be careful as you navigated the ruined city and you hadn’t seen signs of anyone following you. Your planning had been careful and so you carried nothing of value if this man aimed to rob you.
“It is not often that anyone crossed into the ruins of Insomnia. I keep an eye out for the occasional treasure hunter or vandal, but researchers are a rare sight. You’ve been taking careful notes,” he nodded toward the camera. “You were being so…respectful I decided it might be interesting to see what you were after.” Taking another step towards you, he was now looking down at you. “Tell me, have you found it?”
Suddenly, your mouth felt dry and your instincts were telling you to run away from this man and this city and everything attached to it. Something about the predatory look in his eye and the way he seemed to be looking through you was alarming. “I-I came here looking for information about the Awakening. To find out what happened to the King and his warriors.” You voice sounded so light and fragile. You hated how weak you sounded.
A darkness passed over Ignis’s features for a moment before a stern look settled onto his face. “I’ll tell you what happened to the king.” Reaching out, his fingers curled around your wrist to lock you into place. You struggled but his iron grip held you fast. “He returned after ten long years of darkness and the loss of hope only to sacrifice himself. His friends gave their own lives so that he may have enough to save the world. He faced the darkness alone and took his life.”
“And his friends?” you whispered after a moment of silence. Dread had begun to fill your chest and you tried to slip out of Ignis’s grip. You feared you knew the answer.
Chuckling, Ignis released your wrist and watched as you fell backwards onto the stone floor at the foot of the throne. “They all died. But the darkness and daemons would not allow them a peaceful end. Rather, they invaded their bodies and their souls and turned each of them into creatures better suited for the darkness their king was giving his life to banish.” Anger seemed to boil in his words as he looked down at you. He appeared to be weighing his options before stepping back and allowing you back to your feet. “If I were you, young archaeologist, I would take my camera and run.”
Pushing your luck, you hugged your camera close and backed away from him. “They…they turned you into one of them? A daemon?” You carefully retreated down the stairs one step at a time while you faced down Ignis, too afraid to turn your back to him.
In answer, he ran his long, delicate fingers through his already messy hair. A small laugh escaped him before he smiled and allowed his teeth to be on full display. Elongated fangs pushed into his bottom lips and the hair on your arms rose in horror. “Run, little archaeologist. I’m afraid It’s been quite some time since I’ve had the company of anyone so inquisitive.”
Not needing anymore prompting, you turned and sprinted from the throne room taking the stairs in the stairwell as quickly as your legs would carry you. Adrenaline burned through your veins as you ran, pushing your body past its normal limits. The sun was too low in the sky for you to have any hope of it providing assistance against a daemon. You imagined Ignis would be close behind you but you couldn’t help but worry about what else could be hiding amongst the rubble.
Shadows cast by the ruins distorted the path you had taken into the city. Refusing to stop, you jumped, ran, and climbed over anything in your way to keep moving. The wall had just come into sight when your foot caught on piece of broken building and sent you crashing to the weed covered ground. Groaning, you pulled your foot free from the rubble, noting only a small scrape on your shin where blood was already beginning to escape.
“Intelligent, agile and delicious. I’m quite the lucky man today.”
Turning, you caught sight of Ignis as he leaning against a boulder that had one been the stone foundation of a skyscraper. “Please, I just want to leave. I won’t come back,” you promised as you pulled your trowel from its sheath and held it as a sort of makeshift weapon. It was sharp enough to cut if he got close enough.
Pushing off from the boulder, Ignis nodded. “And that is just the problem, dear one. I believe you and I are going to learn a lot from one another.”
In a flash, he pinned you to the cold earth and smacked your trowel away. Looking into his oddly colored, predatory eyes you could see plainly the curiosity he held. Deeper still, there was sadness and anger.
“Please,” you whispered once more and attempted to push on his chest.
“Now, now,” he chastised as he leaned in, “begging is unbecoming.”

Eight Tracks Home: Mars
A story of eight personified planets, some moons, a ghost, and one way home
The Milky Way has been turned into ‘embodiments,’ spirits of each planet put into a living breathing humanoid vessel
Here’s everything you need to know about Earth’s older brother: Mars
Mars/Red
Embodiment name: Red (he’s a simple guy)
Personality: a bit of a slacker, he is neither the largest of the planets nor the smallest. He often feels like he’s just there
He’s pretty unlucky as far as most things go and spends a lot of time playing video games, napping, or engaging in whatever Space Weed is. He loves dogs, tech, taking selfies, and communism
He’s friendly and open-minded, though feels a little plain and insecure about himself in general
Appearance: light brown-red skin, short sandy brown fly-away hair, large bump on his nose (think Owen Wilson) that the others call ‘Olympus Mons’ which he does not like, brown-yellow eyes
wears a backward snap-back, baggy pants, an Adidas jacket and shoes, he’s smaller and slimmer than average and not exactly happy about it
Relationships:
Earth/Goldi- adores Goldi and is a diligent older brother to her, though sometimes finds himself a little freaked out by her habits, she constantly wants to bridge the gap between them that she feels but he’s honestly a little scared of her; still, they do almost everything together and have a fun sibling dynamic
Jupiter- finds her an annoying mom and will skirt her orders if he can
Venus- wishes his older sister wasn’t so flashy and loud all the time, has to play the cautious sibling to her crazy sibling
Saturn- considers her a much stronger mother-figure and very glamorious, but she doesn’t always help with his self-esteem problems
Neptune- Red isn’t as interested in places that aren’t the inner solar system, but he does take an interest in the only other ice giant they have. Red cares a lot about what people think, Neptune does not.
This irritates him a lot and he finds himself bothered by his very cool counterpart
Uranus- he’s a little less interested by Uranus who is... weirder than the already weird Neptune
Mercury- Red is one of the very few planets that tries to commune with her, he’s not very successful but his big brother instincts kick in and he tries to fix that
Phobos and Deimos- his moons dogs
Religion: believes in the Sun, but is more reserved about it, he hopes She comes through and guides them home, but he’s not 100% on it
Send me asks, prompts, or questions about my silly planet AU!

Alfea Library- Guide to earth Plants
Because our readers live on Earth, we shall have a guide to earth plants!  You may notice that these books get shorter and shorter-- on the website I think they were posted as entries and some “books” had more than others.  Still super-curious who wrote them.  Just a random 4kids employee, or did they hire an actual writer?  Probably we’ll never know.
Guide to Earth Plants: Historical and Magical Uses by Rose Blossomwood and Ellen Greenfern
Some have questioned the value of a volume dedicated to Earth Plants, as there are very few magical creatures left on Earth, and, as far as we know, no fairies left. This does not diminish the value or the magic of the plants left in the Earth Realm. One never knows when they may need to know about a plant from a different realm. The motto of the Solarian Scouts is "always be prepared." This volume will help you to do just that. Plants were given their magical powers with the creation of the universe by the Great Dragon, and they still derive their power from the sun. Earth has an amazing array of plants with over 230,000 species identified, and these plants are the source of almost all life on Earth. Most of these plants have magical and healing properties, which were once well known through the realms, when Earth still had a magic population. It is our purpose to provide a guide to common magical earth plants that will enable you to use them both inside the classroom and out. Every fairy could benefit from knowing a spell or two that use the magic of these humble plants.
Our first example is a plant that you would be able to find almost everywhere on Earth. It is often considered a weed by most Earthlings, and some people will try to remove it from their gardens and lawns. If they only knew the magic inherent in this tenacious little plant they would not be so keen to dispose of it! The Dandelion: Taraxacum officinale The dandelion is easy to spot, as it grows almost anywhere. The sunny little yellow bloom sit on top of a single, hollow stem. When the stem is plucked, a milky, white liquid flows from the broken stem. This is latex, and it protects the plant by sealing off little cuts or nicks that may happen to the stem or leaves. The leaves themselves are flat and broad with serrated or rough looking edges. In the early part of it's growth, the flower is yellow, but as it matures, it's seeds become visible as the white balls of fluff that sit on top of the stems. The leaves of this plant are sometimes eaten, but can be bitter if they are old, and of course, the dandelion is not always welcomed by gardeners, so it is one of the plants that has the most poison sprayed on it. For that reason, it is not recommended that you try the leaves, unless you have grown them yourselves, and know they have not been sprayed. These are powerful magical plants with their sunny, helpful dispositions. They are useful for looking into the future and for wishes. To make a wish with a dandelion; wait until it is mature, and its seeds are ready to blow off. Concentrate your Winx, make your wish, and blow the puffy seeds off of the stem. Your wishes can attach themselves to the floating seeds, and carry your wishes off to be fulfilled. To use a dandelion to look into the future, you must first gather five of the flowers. Then take a clear bowl and fill it ¾ of the way with water. Float the blossoms on the top of the water, and start to concentrate on the surface of the water. You have to let your eyes relax and soften. Clear your head of any other thoughts, and continue to watch the surface. Images will start to appear in the water. Pay attention to them as they hold the clues to the future.
Calendula: Calendula officinalis Another common magical plant is Calendula, which is also often called marigold or pot marigold. It has many bright yellow or orange petals, and leaves with fine hairs on the stems and leaves of the plant. Calendula has been cultivated and kept around homes through the ages because it was recognized early on that this plant was helpful in the healing of wounds (mostly small cuts and scrapes). It grows throughout the world in light and sandy soil. In temperate climates (such as the Pacific Northwest of the United States) this little ray of sunshine can still bloom in the middle of winter. As mentioned, this plant has been known to be a good healer of skin wounds and cuts, and still is used in various creams and lotions for sensitive skin. The blossoms are also edible, and are often sold in summer flower salad mixes (they will be the long, thin yellow petals) to perk up the color. Magically, these little flowers can be used to help heal people and places, as well as being useful for dreaming of the future. It was also noted in an ancient text that a girl who touched hundreds of petals of Calendula with her bare feet could understand the language of birds. A great spell for dreaming the future is to collect the blossoms of the marigold on the waxing or full moon. These blossoms are to be spread under the dreamer’s bed, and just before falling asleep the dreamer should repeat "tiny sunny marigold underneath my bed, help to see the dreams are true that come inside my head." In the morning, the dream is to be written down, and one of the flowers is to be pressed into a piece of paper and tied to the description of the dream. The remaining Calendula is to be swept up and put outside in an eastern part of the garden.
Camellia - Camellia japonica Camellias are commonly grown as garden plants due to their gorgeous flowers and delicate scent. These showy blooms are often some of the first of the season. Camellias are slow growing evergreen shrubs with glossy, rounded leaves in temperate places, like the Pacific Northwest. Blooms can start as early as January and continue until April. These beautiful garden shrubs are a wonderful addition to any magical garden. Though the same genus as tea (Camellia sinisis) the leaves of Camellia japonica are not edible, but their flowers have been highly prized for their use in lotions and creams, because of their light and delicate scent. The leaves and bark of Camellias have also been used as fabric dyes, with shades varying from greenish grey to reddish brown. Camellias are also lovely cut flowers, as the blooms can last for up to 10 days in a vase. In Victorian times, these flowers were often a gift that signified "supreme loveliness" and a person would give a Camellia to the person they felt ruled their heart. Magically, these lovely flowers are ruled by the moon and the element of water. They enhance luxury and riches, and can even be used in spells to help careers. To use Camellias in a spell to invite more wealth and luxury into your life: - Collect the Camellia flowers under a full moon. - Arrange the flowers in a clear vase in the light of the moon (a bottle, bowl or glass may be used, as long as the moonlight can filter through it). - As you arrange the flowers, repeat the following: "Moonlight shimmer and blossoms pale Away from snows and protected from hail I've brought you inside, and now ask this gift Please into my life, let luxury drift."
Peppermint - Mentha piperita Peppermints, along with many of the related mints have been valued by cultures around the world for its magical and healing properties. Peppermint is a small, easy to grow mint. It prefers partial shade and grows well in a variety of soils - liking moist, well drained soil the best. It is also a plant that grows very well in pots, making it a valuable plant for a magical container garden. Peppermint leaves can be used fresh or dried in water to create a soothing tea that helps calm nervousness and upset stomachs. Peppermint oil combined with lavender oil in carrier oil can be rubbed on the temples to ease headaches. If the oil is unavailable, a compress can be made by soaking a washcloth in a strong tea and gently wringing it out. The compress can then be placed on the forehead to relieve discomfort. Magically, the peppermint can be used in a variety of spells. Its magical properties include; purification, wealth, sleep, love, healing, developing psychic powers and travel spells. The flowing transformational travel spell can be used; however, caution must be taken. Any travel spell involving peppermint will result in a journey that can bring change and transformation. If you are not ready for a journey that will bring this into your life - Do Not Use This Spell. Simple travel spell: - Pick some fresh peppermint leaves and in a place where you will not be disturbed - connect to your Winx. - When you feel your Winx very strongly in your body, start to scratch the letters PL into the leaves. PL stands for Pluto, the planet for transformations. - While you do this, imagine yourself traveling and changing in a positive way because of your travels. - When you have finished imagining this in as much detail as possible, place the leaves in a bag that you carry with you, like your schoolbag, purse, or favorite duffel - get ready to travel.
Rose: Rosa spp. Most people are already familiar with the rose, famous for its association with love. There are hundreds of species of roses. Gardeners have bred rose varieties specifically for their many beautiful traits; such as, delightful scent, gorgeous petals and bloom size. There are varieties that are climbers (meaning that they will grow along walls, fences or trellises); there are thorn less roses, wild roses and even miniature roses that love growing in pots. No matter what size a garden is there is a rose that could fit in. Rose petals and rosehips (the small fruit of the rose) are edible and rose petals are a lovely addition to summer salad, not to mention a great source of vitamin C. Rose petals have been used to make jelly, syrup, teas and have even been baked into shortbread for a sweet, delicate summery treat. However, before eating roses, caution must be taken to make sure that the roses have not been in contact with chemical sprays. If rosehips are eaten, don’t forget to remove the inner seeds. The seeds have tiny hairs that can irritate the large intestine. The rose has traditionally been a symbol of love and when it is used for love potions, or in a love bouquet, it is helpful to remove the thorns, which many feel symbolize hurt in a relationship. Roses also have other powers, and can be used in spells and rituals designed to help luck or protection, as well as being useful for spells to develop psychic powers. They are also used to help heal a broken heart. In folklore, roses were used to attract fairies. A simple charm to let fairies know they are welcome in your house can be done with a needle, thread and small pink roses. Choose roses that have not fully bloomed, and cut the stem 2 cm below the base of the flower. Thread the needle, and knot the end of the thread several times. Then push the threaded needle into the center of the flower and right through the small piece of stem. Imagine that the roses are beads. Put as many roses on the string as you wish. When you have finished, hang the string near a doorway where the fairies are welcome. As you put it up say: “Fairies and friends Come through this doorway If true friend you are, You are welcome to stay”
Lavender: Lavendula officinale Lavender has been grown in kitchen gardens for hundreds of years for its beautiful scent and healing and relaxing properties. Lavender flowers are a pale bluish-purple color, and a single stem has many of the tiny fragrant flowers on it. The leaves are oblong and vary in color from a dark green to a grayish green color. It is often planted along walkways or around entrances to homes to provide a gentle, welcoming floral greeting to all that enter the home. Lavender flowers are edible and make a lovely tea. However, as always, be sure the lavender has not come in contact with chemicals if you are using it. Drinking lavender tea, or rubbing the lavender flowers or essential oil on your skin is a lovely way to soothe frayed nerves and encourage peace and restfulness. When lavender essential oil is mixed with peppermint in carrier oil and is rubbed on the temples, it helps relieve tension headaches. Lavender’s powers include helping one to relax, helping one to live a long life, attracting romance, peace and joy. It is also used for healing spells, making wishes come true, and happiness. To send a little lavender magic to a friend who could use a little peace and happiness, write a note and send it on lavender scented paper. To do this, take a few lavender flowers and rub them gently in your hands to start to release the scent, and then rub the lavender flowers gently onto the piece of paper that you wrote the note on. The paper should pick up the scent quickly. Write down your wishes for your friend’s happiness and then send it. Your friend will be delighted.
Aloe Vera
Think of a fleshy, spiky, space plant and you might have a picture of Aloe Vera in your mind. Known to provide healing powers to burns and skin irritations, Aloe Vera can also be used to help a fairy reconnect with her Winx. Aloe Vera plants are succulents that grow in well-drained, dry soil. Being a succulent plant, Aloe Vera plants have large fleshy leaves that store large amounts of water. They do this because they are often in environments that are scarce of water. Aloe Vera plants are native to Africa and areas around Africa including Madagascar, the Arabian Peninsula, and smaller islands surrounding the continent. Aloe Vera grows straight out of the ground into a fleshy rosette of sharply pointed leaves with spines down the sides. Besides their native habitats, Aloe Vera plants have also found themselves in many Earth homes as quick relief to minor burns and slight scrapes. On modern Earth, Aloe Vera is widely used as both an ornamental plant and a household first aid tool. When the thick fleshy leaves of an Aloe Vera plant are broken off, a yellowish gel is secreted. This gel has been found to have many incredible healing powers. The gel is commonly used to relieve pain and irritation from skin maladies, and is common relief for minor burns including sunburns. The gel’s benefit is its ability to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation from minor burns, cuts, and scrapes. While Aloe Vera does have incredible healing powers, it should never be used as a substitute for traditional medicine, but instead as a complementary aid for the near magical properties it possesses. With Aloe Vera’s super healing powers now known across the realms, many manufacturers are using it in products such as cosmetics, lotions, soaps, and sunscreens. The added Aloe creates soothing lotions, lovely soaps, and healing sunscreens. Beyond Earth’s mastery of Aloe’s healing powers, in modern realms, Aloe Vera is known as a tool that can help a fairy regain her connection to her Winx. Just like the application of Aloe Vera to a minor burn eases pain and can quicken the healing time, the application of Aloe Vera to a fairy can help her connect, reconnect, and repair a broken connection to her Winx. The procedure to this is as follows: Using one finger, collect a slight dab of Aloe Vera. This could be directly from an Aloe Vera plant, from a hand lotion containing the plant, or a soap. Be certain not to get too much on our finger. Once you have a tiny bit, carefully rub it onto the back of one of our hands. If you are right handed, rub it into your right hand. If you’re left handed, place it on the back of your left hand. In ever-growing circles, move the Aloe Vera gel or lotion out to the edges of your hand letting it soak in. This is why only a small amount should be used. While you’re doing this, think carefully of your Winx and focus your energy on it. The Aloe Vera will help to heal the connection to your Winx! This can even be done on a monthly basis as needed, and it is an excellent use of this magical Earth plant.
