Headcanon his eyes are actually just googly eyes on the mask and work as such, they arent his real eyes so he runs into stuff and when he does it makes a comedically pathetic squeak. That and I can only imagine he is like 6 so he is.

I like to imagine that SCP-049-J and SCP-053 are around the same age and are just the cutest BFFs. Doing arts and crafts with each other and wearing little friendship necklaces where one says "uni" and the other says "corn" and frolicking around whilst accidentally murdering people Also, I don't really imagine 049-J existing as 049s kid in my universe, but I do like the idea of them having a relationship. 049 is just more like "If I see this kid I'll make sure he doesn't get himself killed" instead of genuinely caring for -J like a child. And, in turn, -J thinks 049 is the coolest guy around when he kills people for the sake of "the cure"
