Okay, so I finished up the GBF Relink Demo (the Story bit and all 3 quests) and honestly, as an OG fan of GBF who has dropped it for years. It was loads of fun and definitely captured the early magic that made me fall in love with GBF in the first place.

Game play is fluid and satisfying. It feels GREAT to pull off a full chain and see the chain burst explode. The little bits of banter and OG crew dynamic also feel well done.

Even as someone jaded with what the game has eventually become with the blatant powercreep and flanderization. I'm excited about this release because it's like meeting an old friend again and reminds me just how much I used to love this series.

Also, Rackam looks FINE and feels like a genuine cast member again outside of running gags and yaoi bait. The way that Duration is actually his evade skill is hilarious.
