🌼September TC Challenge (Day 1-30)🌼

1 - Are you generally nervous around your tc, or are you more relaxed and comfortable around them? I find I’m more relaxed around them. I am a nervous wreck sometimes but those moments are rare!

2 - Is your tc an introvert or an extrovert? How about you? They are both extroverts while I’m an introvert 

3 - Does your tc use emojis or emoticons when communicating with you? If so, what have they used? if not, what do you think they’d use? S used emojis when he sent personal emails to me! Especially the “😊” emoji. B doesn’t really send emojis. If he did, it would most likely be the thumbs up one or the “😀” emoji

4 - What’s the biggest or most important thing your tc has taught you, ether in terms of life lessons or the subject matter of their class? B: Build my way up so I can do public speaking S: Don’t let shit get to my head!!

5 - Does your tc have a classroom / office, or are they “floating” (using a cart or something and moving from place to place)? What does their teaching space look like? B has an office and it's quite neat, with a couple books here and there. S has 2 offices since he teaches 2 subjects. I have seen one but I’m guessing the other one is neat since he is a neat person in general!

6 - What was your favourite assignment in your tc’s class and why? Are they a harsh grader? For B, I have 2 favourite projects! For one, we got make a homemade magazine about a topic. I got 80% on it! And for the 2nd one, we got to make a creative story which had to follow a simulator timeline of a movie we had watched as a class. I got a 70% on it! With S, we got to do a role play type thing! I got a 73% on it which was good

7 - Do you and your tc have any inside jokes? are they shared by other people (classmates, other teachers, etc) or is it just between you two? Not really

8 - If your tc was an animal, what animal would they be? I feel like S would be a deer and B would be a friendly bear

9 - How do you feel about being in the tcc? Are you afraid of getting caught, etc? Sometimes I am afraid of getting caught since a couple of friends uses Tumblr, so I try and be careful about what I post. But I like being in the tcc.

10 - How long have you been having teacher crushes? How many tc’s have you had in total, and how long have you been in the tcc? I've been liking teachers for 1 and a half years now. I’ve had 4 tc’s in total which is something. I’ve been in the tcc for nearly 2 years now

11 - Is your tc’s room close to the front of your school / campus, or is it more towards the back? Their offices are both at the front of the school which is convenient!

12- Are you shorter or taller than your tc? Both taller than me! S completely towers over me

13 -  does your tc have any pets at home? how many and what animals? B used to have a ginger cat

14 - Does your tc have a blackboard or a whiteboard in their room? What color chalk/marker do they use the most? They both use whiteboards and they mainly used black and red markers

15 - Besides your blog, do you vent about your feelings towards your tc in any other way? I have a mini diary that I use on my computer for things that I don’t put on here. I go more into depth about things there and read back on them every once in a while

16 - Are there any students you’re jealous of in terms of their relationship to your tc? Not really

17 - Imagine that you and your tc were born in the same year. How many days apart would your birthdays be? I would have no clue. Maybe a couple months apart

18 - Have you ever gotten in trouble with your tc? If so, what happened? Never have! Hopefully never will!

19 - Is your tc’s hair curly or straight, and is it short, medium, or long? Both of their hair is straight and short. B’s hair is slightly longer and a tiny bit wavier than S’ hair. 

20- what web browser does your tc use? what kind of phone/computer do they have? I think they both use a HP laptop, so the Microsoft windows web browser. As for phones, they both have apple phones, so safari or google

21- Are there any calendar dates that are special to you because of your tc? Not yet! 

22 - Do any celebrities or fictional characters look like or remind you of your tc? Kind of. There was this one guy on instagram who reminded me of S a tiny bit. There is someone that looks like B as well, but I don’t know who it was. Hopefully I remember soon!

23 - Is your tc’s room/office number even or odd? I have no idea

24 - What do you think sets your tc apart from other teachers at your school? Their personality and looks

25 - Do you like the teachers who are “neighbors” with your tc (that is teachers who have rooms next to your tc)? Yes but no. There are teachers in the same room as each other.

26 - Have you ever suspected someone you know irl of having a teacher crush (either on your tc or on a different teacher)? If so, have you ever confronted them about it? Not really

27 - Do you pass by your tc’s room or office on your way to class frequently? Do you see them around campus a lot? I see them around a lot, but I don’t pass their office tons. I pass B's office sometimes when i have classes in the same building as his office.

28 - Is teaching your tc’s first job, or did they have another job before being a teacher? Have they ever taught at another school before? I know that S has had other jobs before teaching at my school. I think it’s the same for B, but i'm not sure

29 - What things keep you happy and occupied over break when you miss your tc? If you’ve graduated or will no longer be seeing your tc in school, how are you handling the situation? I keep myself busy over the breaks by drawing or doing things on my laptop

30 - What is the sweetest thing they told you or did for you? B liking my drawings and S giving me life advise

Well, I think my first ones were in high school, I'll say I was in the 8th grade. And oh boy, they are a lot. I have had tcs on almost every male teacher in uni lmao. I counted a total of six, I hope I am not forgetting someone.

life update: as of now, im kinda done with having teacher crushes. so im moving this out of my pinned and keeping this one side first. i've been done with mango for a long while already and my love for passion fruit is just slowly diminishing. i'll still be lurking in the community though so still drop by and say hi!

mango: my first and former teacher crush, male, he/him, twenty five years older than me, year one to four physical education teacher in high school, married to almost the copy paste girl version of him, used to be a national athlete, successfully moved on from him! (cause he's kinda an asshole now)

passion fruit: my main teacher crush, male, he/him, no idea about our age gap but he's definitely older than mango, year three to four history teacher in high school, married with three children, really sweet and gives written affection surprisingly well, very very thoughtful, superb memory, gotten much closer to him since i stopped work, he's such a cutie i can't believe i didn't pay him much attention when i was in school :' it's now our tradition/customary to take pictures every time i give him something or when i see him! (entirely said by him, sooooo)

7. at this current moment of time, what is your relationship like and how close to them are you?

with apollo, i would say we have a very close father-daughter like relationship. i say this often but i’ve opened up to him a lot and he has given me incredible support.

i’ve known him enough to know that apollo is incredibly proud of me and loves me as his student. once apollo told me that if he ever has a daughter, he wishes that she will turn out like me 🥹

with hermes, i’ve only known him since september but i would say we’re slowly building a close relationship. i practically LIVE in the music building at this point. i’m always practising in my frees and go there for rehearsals all the time. so, i always see hermes and we talk a lot.

we’ve gotten to a point where we’re both comfortable joking and swearing around each other. hermes is so so sweet; he’s been boosting my confidence when i feel like i can’t perform. i’m so grateful for him

Analysts believe that the earnings were satisfactory and were in line with their estimates, with an optimistic management waiting for a turnaround in the near future. This is based on the management's confidence on positive demand outlook, and improvement in the macro environment. How do you feel about being in the tcc? Are you afraid of getting caught, etc?

It is definitely nice to know I am not the only delusional one lol and it is nice just to share that somewhere especially since my friend always tells me to forget about him. I am afraid that someone from uni might find out about this blog and connect the dots somehow but I highly doubt that he will find out. He is a millenial, there is no way he is on tumblr and there is no way he will research the tcc and there is no way out of all blogs he will find this one exactly. (I still hope he knows tho i have no idea why lol)

autumn, he's beautiful yet underappreciated, warm and cozy and yet taken for granted

2. What would you do if another teacher found out about your crush, printed photos of your blog and threatened you they would tell your TC about it? What would they possibly threaten you for? B. If you have more than one TC, how would you react if that teacher was one of your other TCs?

oh goodness I'd exercise my rights to fire them because first of all how do they know its me HAHAHAHA (it's pretty obvious) but I'd fight back cause this blog is pretty clean

3. Are there any classmates of yours that you suspect also have a crush on your TC? How would you react if you found out they had a TC blog too?

nope

I SURE HOPE SO maybe in a harmless way like thinking back when i bake stuff or something I don't knowww

we both have brown eyes but he has black hair and I have dark brown hair so anything, but as long as they have brown eyes and his dimples and maybe a mix of our smiles we're good to go? I don't know about the rest, if I really had to have kids, I would have maximum two.

hes a mix of both, maybe leaning to logical. im also a mix of both, leaning more to emotional i think

i think he's quite, and im quite too, but we don't have the same religion

i dont know, i just woke up one day and was like oh crap i like him

uh first of all what. also, i dont know honestly, he doesnt carry a lot of personal items except his gold chain I DONT KNOW maybe like his cologne or something so when i smell it i think of him I DONT KNOW

run after his son and into a wall and chip his tooth probably HAHAH i dont know

i think it would be big, i dont know, messy maybe?

he ran out to get the stall auntie fruits for her birthday after i told him that it was her birthday, the way he was the only one who did that and also kept my secret by telling her he didnt know who told him it was her birthday??? and that he came to tell me afterwards???? i was about to marry him on the spot

23. What are your and their biggest flow?

flaws? hes too soft on his students probably i dont know, but i uh i overwork myself to the point of burn out and only when im disgustingly sick then im able to pull myself to stop and im too hard on myself probably and i can go into a whole long list of other stuff

24. What are your and their biggest talent?

i dont have talents, everything is the product of my blood on the table. hes smart, i dont know his talents but he sings really well

25. Describe the ideal wedding for you and your tc (who would you invite, where would you go on honeymoon, what would you wear, etc ) and write your wedding vow.

i think we'd go for standard wedding vows, just invite close friends and family maybe, we would go somewhere for our honeymoon i dont know, we'd probably wear those traditional wedding outfits i dont know???

uh i dont know

27. What would you do if you woke up and found out you exchanged bodies? How would it be?

im taurus and hes cancer and apparently cancers are the best match for taurus and we are very highly compatible. i dont know much else about zodiac signs

30. What’s the sweetest thing they’ve told you or done for you?

he handwrote personalized notes with a flower drawing on them for our graduation, he always encourages me and tells me that he knows i'll do great for anything and that he always has confidence in me and i guess thats super sweet and thoughtful of him :'

7. Do you and your tc have any inside jokes? Are they shared by other people (classmates, other teachers, etc) or is it just between you two?

During the latter part of the semester, I broke my laptop (I placed it on top of my double-decked bed and it fell. Stupid, right?). It was a very hectic season, lots of writing and editing, so I found it very difficult to perform my tasks without a laptop. We were tasked to make a formal report in his class and since I didn't have a laptop, I asked my classmate if I could borrow hers. He overheard our conversation and started asking me how I broke the laptop. When I told him that I haven't told my parents about my situation, he started teasing me, saying that "I better prepare myself for the consequences of my stupidity", lol. When he saw how stressed I was, he stopped teasing me and started offering me his spare laptop so that I could attend to all my requirements with ease. AND GUESS WHAT, MY DUMB ASS DECLINED HIS FREAKING OFFER!!!!!! Stupid me. I'm still regretting that up until now.

8. If your tc was an animal, what animal would they be?

I think he's a turtle, since he likes being in his own shell. He's really firm and strict the first time I met him, so I never thought that he'll eventually warm up to our class. Also, I picked that animal because it often goes unnoticed in a pet store or a zoo. Despite all his efforts in teaching, I don't think his students notice or appreciate him that much. He's friends with another prof who is very popular (imagine him as a very crushable material) and I feel like he's getting overshadowed because of his friend's popularity. I just...wanted people to appreciate my TC more, because he deserves to get recognition for all the efforts that he's exerting.

9. How do you feel about being in the tcc? Are you afraid of getting caught, etc?

I felt really happy, knowing that I'm not alone in this situation. I have friends, but I can't tell them that I love my TC because, duh, he's a teacher! I don't want to jeopardize his work so I prefer staying here, where there's no way he'll ever find me.

10. Does your tc drink or smoke?

I have no idea, but I think he drinks occassionally.

11. Is your tc’s room close to the front of your school / campus, or is it more towards the back?

He doesn't have a room in particular, but their communal faculty room is located towards the back of the building.

12. Are you shorter or taller than your tc?

We're almost of the same height (him, being a bit taller than me). Not to brag, but we really look good together. *sighs*

Day 8 - If your tc was an animal, what animal would they be?

A cat because just as he can be kind, he can also be kinda mean. It's like just as cats he also has a "love bite" and he expresses his affection with jokes. ( I've never had a cat, I don't really know if they are that mean at times or maybe it depends on the cat but I still love cats lol)

2 - When and how did you first realize you had feelings for your tc?

i guess it was when my heart started to beat faster whenever i entered his lessons, when i noticed his dimples more, when i became so much more eager to please, around the time he started to pick on me to answer questions when i started to get really good at history, maybe around second half of year three

3 - If you could ask them five questions and they HAD to answer, what would you ask?

what cologne he uses because it smells so good but he stopped using it unfortunately, if he'd be open to going out with me someday but not romantically la just like a casual lunch or something, what his favourite books/movies/music, if he's ever thought of me, if he ever misses me (be it in general or as his student)

4 - Tell us a daydream you have had about your tc!

that we'd just sit at the canteen or something and talk, just talk about life and hobbies and getting to know each other better

it's literally called passion fruit ramblings, im not even joking

6 - What would you want from them most on your birthday?

for him to know its my birthday, even just a simple happy birthday from him would mean the absolute world to me

we're under the stars, the night is cold and breezy, but comfortable at the same time, we're sitting on the rooftops with our legs dangling over the edge, or laying on the rooftops, the city lights are beautiful, making the stars shine even more but i know his eyes would sparkle the brightest

passionate bear probably, cause he has this magical ability to bring across his passion in anything and infect me with that same passion LMAO

like when i was in his class? i would read up about the chapters beforehand and memorise them so that i could answer whatever questions he threw at me, and even if i didnt know the answers i would bs and they would somehow be the answers he's looking for, i did so many extra practice papers to book a one on one consultation with him during the national exam season HAHHA

never got jealous of him before but im jealous of others cause in group photos hes more relaxed and does other poses but with me its just hands behind his back and a smile :'

honestly we could just walk along a park or something after eating dinner and just admire the evening sky and talk, maybe hold hands and that would already be perfect

literally stay up till midnight to bake cupcakes for him and order the passion fruit pulp from lazada because absolutely nowhere sells that and give it to him for his birthday :'

honestly not that much taller than me, im 158cm and hes taller than me by half a head or slightly lesser

dont have any nicknames but he did call me his star history student once, and i wish i had the guts to call him my favourite teacher jokingly (because he is) but i dont unfortunately

September TC Challenge - Days 26-30

26. Have you ever suspected someone you know irl of having a teacher crush (either on your tc or on a different teacher)? If so, have you ever confronted them about it?

I do (and the teacher knows it), but we're not that close enough to talk about it. The only thing I envy about her is that she and the prof she like interact as if they're close friends. I wanted to have that same relationship with xiv, mainly because I want him to be able to easily set me apart from his other students.

27. Do you pass by your tc’s room or office on your way to class frequently? Do you see them around campus a lot?

I see him around campus at least thrice a week. Whenever I see him, I would wave and greet him and then he would also do the same.

28. Is teaching your tc’s first job, or did they have another job before being a teacher? Have they ever taught at another school before?

Nope, he worked as a chemist first. After that, he got his master's degree and taught chemistry in college.

29. What things keep you happy and occupied over break when you miss your tc? If you’ve graduated or will no longer be seeing your tc in school, how are you handling the situation?

When I miss him, I try to preoccupy myself with studies. I'm currently in sophomore year so I'm doing my best to get the highest grades that I can in preparation for our internship next year.

30. What advice or suggestions would you give to the members of the tcc based on your own experiences?

Never take for granted all the little interactions you have with your TCs. I've realized that all those smiles, those short talks, and those laughs that we shared over the course of a semester was probably the best thing that ever happened to me ever since I started college.
