Bandish Bandits – Beautiful Affair of Colors and Chords Bandish Bandits is fresh breeze of OTT content that brings along great performances by legendary actors like Naseeruddin Shah and versatile Atul Kulkarni with young guns like Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhary. Anand Tiwari has cracked the code of success. The music is the backbone of Bandish Bandits and it sets the mood of most of the scenes with commendable treatment.

The story is predictable but it takes good twists and turns to keep audience hooked. After all, in a romantic web series what else can be done. But the script keeps the audience engaged with drama, jokes, urban lifestyle and some stupidity as well.

The young leads have their pluses, they look hot and sexy in most of the scenes, act well – not exceptional but they can excel well if they keep pushing them. The smartness of the director and writer is that from the young leads they extracted the exact amount of juice that was required. They were not given burdening scenes to meet crash-landing.

The heavy duty acting was given to Naseer Uddin Shah and Atul Kulkarni – and they both are the soul of Bandish Bandits. The scenes between the two are full-on entertainers and very well penned.

Sheeba Chaddha, Amit Mistry and Rajesh Tailang give full justice to their characters.  Tridha Choudhury acts well, looks sexy and leaves a strong impact despite featuring in only 3 episodes. Rahul Kumar is first rate and stands out as Kabir, almost in every scene.

Bandish Bandits is a great combo of young and mature performers along with pop and classical music. Shankar-Ehsan-Loy hits this one out of the park. Musically and aesthetically beautiful affair of colors and chords.
